I own a cleaning company and order majority of my supplies from this site and at first I was extremely happy with the price and service but my 3rd time doing a ordering run It was messed up and to try and fix this issue was extremely difficult. The customer service was absolutely the worst I have ever experienced and I honestly don't think they care at all about making customers happy. The person was rude, short and not at all sympathetic or apologetic, honestly just made me feel extremely unimportant which is a shame because I spend a LOT of money on this site. For future customers this site can be great but if something goes wrong which is a guarantee with any site, good luck.
If you want an awful customer service experience, this company is the one for you. Item I'm shopping for is $249.99. Elsewhere including manufacturer the price is the same with free shipping. Issue is it's currently backordered everywhere except here. Went to purchase and the shipping cost is $192.99. I queried with customer service and their response is it's due to the item being 20 lbs. We're talking about a recycle and trash bin. Don't bother wasting your time shopping here...
As a business and non-profit organization, I purchased four tables from this company, which including shipping, cost us $1275. We received the package through FedEx freight and upon opening the box, I received a damaged table (corner was completely busted with wood that was chipped off). Not sure if it was Global Industrial's fault or FedEx's, but regardless I asked for a replacement and they complied. They expedited a replacement table, only to discover upon opening the box that the table they sent was also damaged with a noticeable scratch and dented table legs. Flustered, I interacted with customer service and the best they could offer initially was a partial credit of $83, which is laughable considering not the amount I spent, but the time it took out of my schedule to deal with these issues. I asked them to reconsider and meet me half way by refunding half of what one table costs (which was $262, divided by 2 so about $131), and the best they could do was $90. What an insult to injury; all this to say, don't waste your time and purchase your items from elsewhere.
Probably one of the worst transactions I have made with a vendor for our work products. I read the reviews and figured I only needed 1 item, how could they screw up 1 item? Well they did. They sent me the wrong item, so I called and told them. They asked for pictures of the item so I sent them. The next 2 days I got emails from them asking for the pictures. I sent them the screenshot of the original message 3 times now and they are still saying they haven't got them. They exchanged the wrong item with the exact same wrong item and don't really seem to care that they have now wasted a lot of my time and sent the wrong item twice now. Pick another company and dont look back. Seriously they are horrible. Their people who work there are rude and have zero compassion for their screwups
They are so arrogant. Also I asked 12 times for return label but they never did. They said it takes 2 business days so I waited, called again, transfer calls multiple times for 58 minutes. Online chat is also a crap. I will never buy anything from them.
WORST SITE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HERE! I literally spent $3,000 on machines that first off dont even work properly, one of them doesnt even work at all. I tried to return the product but they were giving me a hard time in the beginning till i had to get higher ups involved with this, they took about a month to send me a return label after calling them numerous amount of times daily everyday, as soon as i got my return label i shipped it back right away (same day) i waited like 3 weeks before calling them to check my status they consistently told me every songle day that i had to wait either 48-72 hours or wait 10-15 days and you will have your money back, sadly 4 months pass and guess what they credited me back my money but heres the best part i gotta wait another 10-15 business days for it to go through. Interesting how fast it is to take your money out ur account when u order something that you think is going to work because its brand new and cant return YOUR money even when they HAVE the product in their possession.
Waiting for a call back to give CC info for 40 min after a 20 min online chat. Checkout did not work online. The customer service is terrible. Try and shop elsewhere!
I was searching the internet for Moldex Glide foam earplugs. I was able to find them on some different website but Global Industrial had the best price and free shipping two things I look for when ordering products. Shipping was very fast and efficient. They use UPS and it was delivered directly to my porch unlike places that ship shore post which I hate because it adds extra days to the delivery. Tracking was also excellent I knew exactly when it left until the time it was delivered to the porch all the details complete and texted to me. Give 5 Stars to Global Industrial everything about them was great and I am sure I will be ordering from them in the future.
I wish I would have found these reviews before I purchased anything, and seeing them now shows me that I am not alone. If a company is offering cheap equipment without accepting returns - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! Their website has misleading names and pictures, and when dealing with what I thought was customer service I get no help. I'm very disappointed and will never buy from this place again.
If you ever used this company before it was probably the last time you used them. Return policy is horrible and the suppliers they use are in the same class of being horrible including Speco Tech.
Needed warranty work on my floor scrubber. I ask customers service to call me back, but nothing. Can not get any customer service. My email get reply from some in India. Very frustrating.
Placed order 6/2/20, money taken from me but 2 months later no product. Told it was shipped then it was on back order then it was delivered then its still on back order. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
I don't know why we stuck it out for about 10 years of using them, but 2 weeks ago was the final straw.
In the past we've had plenty of issues with broken items, or ridiculous shipping practices, which clearly indicates that they have many disgruntled employees. For example, we would order a few dozen work gloves and the employees at Global would ship each pair of gloves by itself in a carton 24 x 24 x 12! The shipping was free, by it just irritated the P out of me to see them waste money because each carton would incur dimensional weight charges totaling hundreds of dollars for what should have cost around $20 in UPS charges.
I complained to upper management, telling them they're employees were purposely wasting their money, but they couldn't have cared less, probably because they were equally disgruntled.
2 weeks ago was the last straw, when we received a case of hand sanitizer that smelled like someone drank tequila and vomited (honestly). I emailed them and said I wanted to return even if they didn't give us a refund, but they refused at first, until I asked for an MSDS sheet, then they gave me an RMA in 5 minutes.
When I wrote an honest review they never published it, but magically a dozen 5 star reviews appeared in the next hour that weren't there until I complained.
Went to online account for return of product. The representative on chat line wasn't helpful and took long period of time to respond. Called in and the first representative was rude and left me on hold for longer than 10 minutes. Had to hang up and call back
I found a workbench I really liked on Global Industrial's website and it recommended a certain vise go with it (optional). I ordered both the workbench and the vise together. I have 2 stars because the workbench was a good workbench, however they did not supply the screws for the vise to mount to the workbench the recommended. After seeing this, I called the first time and they said they would get the bolts shipped out as soon as possible. After waiting weeks, I called again and received the same reply, "they will be shipped as soon as possible." After waiting a total of almost 2 months now, I called today and spoke with a supervisor and she said the vise might not actually come with screws because the don't know what you're mounting it to. Wow! They recommended it with the workbench I purchased from them! That supervisor said she needed to talk to someone and would get back to me by email. Another wait! At minimum they could at least have a document included with the vise that recommends what size screws to purchase for different surfaces. Nothing of that sort came with the vise. Also, they should have told me this the last two times I called. But instead, they made me wait for a part that was never going to come?!? I am flabbergasted by this lack of communication within a large organization. This will be my last purchase through Global Industrial, unfortunately.
I ordered sanitizer on 5/5. Today is 7/11 and it still did not ship! They never sent any update messages so I called. 2 months ago they said it would ship in another month. That should have been last month and still nothing. Avoid the hassle and order elsewhere.
I ordered a case of hand sanitizer for our company from Global Industrial when it finally was in stock. It arrived, and as soon as we opened the box, there were neat little boxes with hand sanitizer contained inside. Upon opening the first individual box, we discovered the sanitizer was made in China, because a little paper with Chinese writing fell out of the package. This is in the middle of the Coronavirus Pandemic, and the Coronavirus originated in China! When we called Global Industrial to get a return authorization number for it, we were told the product was non-returnable. I asked to speak with a supervisor in management, and was put on hold for 39 minutes. I hung up, then put the case on a dolly and rolled it out to the dumspter. Why in the world would a company sell a sanitizing product from the same country that a pandemic virus came from, and not at least disclose it came from that country on the product webpage?
I bought 6 containers of hand sanitizing wipes.
I never imagined they will charge me $20/container. Usually the lysol brand pack of 6 container cost me around $30 total whereas this store cost me around $148. Lesson learned. Never ever buying things from them.
This company is horrible to deal it, they will not let you return something that has an inaccurate web description. It took over a month to receive something they said would only take 10 days. When I called there customer service the representative was rude and sarcastic. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY>
I purchased and item that the sales lady assured me was compatible with my pressure washer. It was not and when I wanted to return it (2 days after I received it) I was told I had to pay the return postage even though it was their mistake because that was "their policy." Here's my policy, I will never do business with this company again.
Answer: TOTAL SCAM COMPANY. WILL NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCTS EVEN WITH A ONE YEAR WARRANTY.
