I just felt it necessary to comment on the exceptional customer service call. I'm from Northern Ontario, so this is a completely unbiased review.
I spoke with a customer rep today (Pepper from Atlanta Georgia) and she plain-out made my morning mood. Kind, patient, knowledgeable and approachable. Very rare to have this type of experience with any customer service department. So, so grateful I got to deal with Pepper!

I purchased five frosted glass white boards and three of them came defective and another was a slightly different color than the others. Customer service was a nightmare—each response was generic and from one of eight different representatives and every representative said they couldn't refund because the courier couldn't be charged for damage after five days (even though products were clearly defective from the factory and the courier shouldn't be charged).

Order from somewhere more expensive; it's not worth any discount. I wasted a ton of time trying to resolve this with their customer service. In the end they sent two replacement boards but it took me months and MANY emails.

I tried leaving a review on their website that included pictures, but the site didn't allow me to submit it on the two web browsers I tried. Seems like a shady company.

Nous avons choisi Global industrial car sur le site les commentaires étaient bons. Nous avons achetés 6 distributeurs de savon à main et 4 distributeurs de papier hygiénique il y a moins de 8 mois. Après quelques semaines d'utilisation on remarque qu'un des savonniers commence à rouiller. Je communique avec le service à la clientèle et en plus de ne rien pouvoir faire pour nous ils sont rude à la limite condescendant. Après tout, il n'est pas normal de vouloir un distributeur de savon en stainless qui ne rouille pas! Dernièrement on remarque qu'un autre distributeur est craqué et coule et qu'un autre, le bouton poussoir est "dévisser" du socle et nous devons appuyer avec force pour avoir du savon.

Un mauvais produit peut arriver mais aussi mauvais service, jamais.

Paid $100 for a container, it came without a lid. Then I had to pay $60.00 for a lid. I am furious. The picture showed a lid. This is the worst rip off of my entire life and I am 65 years old. Don't buy from this company. Such a rip off. Horrible.

I ordered a few extra heavy duty shelving units and over 24 additional shelf beams to add more shelves. Every package that arrived was heavily damaged. The packaging was weak and items were loose inside. A few pieces of tape and wads of packing paper in one box was all that secured about 25 pounds of metal beams. This lead to bent vertical supports and damage to 25% of the shelf beams. I contacted Global Industrial twice via email, called and left messages, and found their on-line chat to be non functional. I'm very disappointed with this company.

I don't ever like to leave a bad review but I absolutely have to for my own sanity. I placed an order for bandsaw blades to be drop-shipped to my customer which they were. 3 months later Global Ind. Tells me that they accidentally sent double the quantity and I have to pay for it. This is unheard of in business and highly inappropriate. However, with no real proof and my customer unable to be sure what was in his warehouse after 3 months I decided that I would go ahead & pay them (again) and asked them to send me a second invoice. They did not. Instead they called mt customer and started to bother him about it! You read that right, THEY CALLED MY CUSTOMER! I called them fuming mad and after speaking with a very disrespectful and tactless secretary I was transferred to a supervisor who apologized profusely and promised to call or email my customer their sincerest apologies. I told him that if he did that then this would be the end of it. He did not and I have henceforth lost a really good customer, for now anyways. Our company has a very good reputation and absolutely no negative reviews so please believe what I write here. I have nothing to gain by this. I am writing this as a warning to any and all. THIS COMPANY IS COMPLETE TRASH!

Unbelievably dishonest and fraudulent company. They sent me a quote for a discounted cabinet (selling for $755) that had no pictures of the interior online. When I called the hotline and asked the salesman if he could get pics of the interior, he said it would take a couple days (had to get it from their warehouse) but he could give me a quote in the meantime to lock in the price for 30 days. That way, even if price went up online, I could still buy the cabinets at that price. I received the quote. (See pic below.) But before I got the pics from the salesman, the price went up to about $1500, twice the quoted price. After I looked at the pics, I told the salesman I would order the cabinet at the quoted price. He said he needed to get approval from "management" and strung me along for over a week.
Claiming someone was just about to approve it. Finally, someone else from sales called to say they could not honor it, pointing to the verbiage in the box at the top saying the quote was "subject to change based on product availability and/or extraordinary market conditions." What a joke. The product was still available and nothing had changed in the week since I got the quote. They basically said that sentence meant they could refuse to honor any quote any time! In short, these are total fraudsters that are intentionally scamming customers and refusing to honor their quotes. How do they stay in business? I wish I had the bandwidth to sue them in small claims or try to pull together a class action to sue this company for fraudulent business practices.

Bought a $3200 chain hoist. It didnt work when we recieved it. Took almost three months of emails before they had me take it to a local service center who then had it another couple months. Picked it up only to find out it still doesn't work properly. Global refuses to help and says its up to the service center. I can understand that, but for Global to say now (after they lagged for months), its out of warranty, is a failure on their part. Our company has averaged a few thousand dollars in purchases each quarter for the past few years. We will absolutely not be using them in the future.

Worst Customer Service

The title says it all. They do not care to take care of the customer or do the right thing. They are quick to blame a shipping company when they or the manufacturer make the mistake. Shipment arrived in excellent shape just missing an item. They said they shipped complete call the carrier as they repacked it. It was not repacked and all correctly strapped to the pallet. They just didn't ship the goods and when you question them they just point to others. This product was on order for 3+ months and now were stuck with another long delay. Best to buy from some other company and stock giving Global Industrial any of your money.

I ordered 2 shelfs. They sent me the first one incomplete, the second one never came. I called and they sent me another one and some pieces for the first one. Incomplete againg and the second one never came again. Hahahaha. I have to call tomorrow for the third time. I was waiting for 4 weeks already. Be aware people!

Maybe someone can answer as to the reason why Global Insustrial can't change a ship to address or cancel an order but i think that is so ridiculous!
I placed an order within 24 hrs and cant change a ship to or cancel? I have never encountered this before, is this normal?

Poor service. I was simply explaining my problem and the customer rep kept trying to interrrupt. I giggled b cause she would not stop trying to cut me off. She told me to calm down lol, I swear I wasnt even upset! So she started getting pretty agitated, boy was she pissed when I told her to calm down lol. This business is a scam. I got 3300 in credit through thier own website, the card has the name of thier business attached to it, but you cant use it lol, and then when i want to split between cards they acted like i was a homeless person outside of walmart lol! What is wrong with these people? I cancelled the card immediately as i TRULY think they are scammers, CALM DOWN KAREN

This company is stating that our filters are non-returnable that they were custom built for just for us... How convenient. Don't make a mistake if you are trying to source filters, because they will not take them back even if they have never been used. Find a company with a better return policy if you are a company who needs filters. Customer service goes far in this world and for you to not accept back filters that have never been used is a scam and now my small business is out $1,300.00. Oh and on top of being out the money I placed the order in June and they did not arrive until August, so don't expect your items to come in a timely fashion. My advise DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Purchased a walk behind floor scrubber along with a 2 year extended warranty. The warranty is a complete SCAM. NOTHING is covered. I called to get a replacement part, a wheel from the squeegee assembly, and was not only tossed around by Global's customer service to then the warranty company's, 360 Central, customer service, as well, for weeks. Was originally told by a Global agent that with my extended warranty my part would be covered and she was going to push it through to get a replacement sent out. Never heard back so I called and kept getting, "She isn't in but I will check with her and then get back to you." with NOT ONE return call back. Finally called for the 5th time and they told me I needed to reach out to 360 Central directly to file the claim... after almost a week. Called them, put in the claim, told me that they would reach out to let me know when the part can be sent out and I waited ANOTHER week with no calls and called again... rep told me oh your claim was denied because your warranty ONLY covers electrical or mechanical issues. So I spent $200 on an extended warranty and was left hanging for weeks to only be told oh that's not covered... I will never purchase from Global Industrial again. Save yourself the time and headache and buy from some place who actually cares about their customers and their product...

Just ordered storage bins with no issues

I was concerned with all of the negative reviews, but just ordered a case of Akro-Mils storage bins with no issues. Fast, efficient and good communications. The price was significantly less than the competition but do be sure to figure in the shipping which can be quite high.

Should be a ZERO star

These guys are absolutely crazy. They put a completely wrong address on my shipping label and I had to track this package down for 3 weeks. I was finally able to update the address WITHOUT their help even though I have contacted them many times to fix this issue.
The package arrives, and they are just crazy...
White garment rack, not even shipped in a box. They just taped all the pieces together and shipped.

I'll keep it short (even though this went on for months). Shelves are not packaged properly to avoid damage. Shipped - damaged. Shipped again - damaged again. Every customer rep you get will have a different story. No continuity. No resolution. Said they'd refund $90. (order was $700.) But they did not even do that. They will not be able to send product without high shipping costs and will be damaged because they are under packaged... single layer thin cardboard on 70lbs of shelf parts. Parts fell out onto the street when UPS delivered. FINALLY (and this is stunning), their final move was to block my incoming emails to customer service! This is how they "resolved" the situation! I've never encountered such a mishandling of every aspect in a business before. They know now I'd have to sue them, and they are taking that gamble knowingly... amazing!
