I love the fact you can try them on virtually. Excellent communication. I love them so much I bought prescription sunglasses as well. Had my eye doctor check the prescription it was perfect. What more do you need. Basically a 1/3 of what I would've paid for one pair I got two.

I am finally at that age where my sight needed more correction to have more than just 1 pair of glasses. I was super excited to see the website with such good prices on frames. Once you added in all the other costs to get good lenses, it is still decently priced. Not great, but decent.
So, first 2 months all was well. Then in 3rd month, a screw fell out of the hinge. As it happens, this particular screw is not a size anyone carries. Not any eye glass place I could go to. All are either too big, or too small. Found one that kind of fits, but it is loose and it is going to fall out soon.
I reached out to get a screw to fix it. I am willing to pay for this screw.
And this is where you get into the weeds with them.
They do NOT have any for sale and do NOT support "fixing" their glasses. They only want to sell you frames. They also do not allow you to send it in to get it fixed.
They will offer you 50% off a frame, and oh, yes, you also have to pay for shipping.
Color me utterly unimpressed. A freaking miniature screw will cost me $20 if I choose that route.
Update!
They reached out to me and they themselves agree that it is a bit crazy to not support their products and did offer me a new pair of glasses (same style different color).
I hope they learn that some of us like what we ordered and would like some support to the product we got.

This is the third set of 2 pairs of glasses I have purchased from Glassesshop.com. Nothing but great service and quality frames and lenses every time. Trust me you will be pleased and the price - what a relief from retail! The whole process is well managed and professional. On my last order I made a slight mistake on my prescription input. They noticed the discrepancy, paused the order to clarify with me and once corrected, processed the order quickly. I am a more than satisfied customer!

First issue I had was they put my order on hold for days without sending me an email or notification that my order was on hold due to the prescription. Second, I paid $25.00 at check out to have my shipping expedited and when the UPS came to my door they said they could not give me the package unless I paid the $25.00 to receive it. I have an invoice that shows I paid the shipping at the time of check out. I contacted support through email and chat. No response from email and in chat they said they will contact me within 24-48 hours. When UPS says they will only attempt to deliver it again the next day. I've called there customer service number all day and have been on hold for hours just to get a voice mail to leave a message. Don't buy your glasses here! Terrible customer service and unreliable.

GlassesShop has excellent customer service, and a very generous points system. There's a little something for everyone in their selection of glasses, which mostly seems to specialize in conventional and low-key styles, but also offering a few edgier/adventurous styles. The glasses I chose are comfortable and good for everyday wear. I had no issues with the quality or prescription.

I found this company a couple of years ago and had been pleased with the glasses. But this year the company has been a nightmare! Last month I ordered 4 pair of glasses and one was not right. They made me pay to ship them back then I received an email today that said the points were put back in my account as a credit and I could reorder. Forget it! This has been a full 24 hours that ensued with Chat that takes hours to get a response and then e-mails back and forth. The points were not put back in my account correctly so I could not reorder glasses. This company has gone from good to bad to indifferent!

I've got a confession, I'm kind of a bookaholic, and for that very reason I need to have a good pair of glasses. I brought a new pair of prescription glasses online from glasses shop. Glasses shop was super easy to find the perfect pair, they have a virtual try on feature. Which to me is a time saver. The prescription glasses from glasses shop met my expectations 100%!

I ordered two pairs of glasses over Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately, when they arrived, one frame had slight damage, and both had significant problems with the way the lens fit in the frame - there's significant and inconsistent protrusion on the front and back, and the cut of the lens leaves small gaps between the lens and the frame width-wise. If these were $50 glasses, it would be a "you get what you pay for," but when each one was ~$170, I expect better.
Customer service requested I send an email with pictures; I've exchanged a few emails with them since then, and it's clear that someone new is replying each time without bothering to review the previous emails in the exchange - I just got a reply asking which pair has the issue and requesting I take a picture and send it to them, but I've been clear that the issue is with both frames (which is why I'm pushing for a refund and not store credit - one time could just be a one-off, but when it's two, it feels like it's probably a quality problem) and I sent them several pictures showing the problems as best pictures can and saying that I'd like to send the glasses back so they can investigate for themselves.
They seem to be leaning toward blaming my prescription, but that doesn't excuse the way that the cut just doesn't fit the width of the glasses, and if my prescription is too deep to fit in the frames, it's their responsibility to make that clear rather than send me the frame anyway, especially since I steer clear of thin frames specifically because I know that my prescription is stronger.
Really regretting not just getting my new glasses from Zenni Optical - I've never had these problems with them, but saw a frame on Glasses Shop that I really liked so thought I'd try them. Never again.

Have had these glasses as a spare in my truck when to pull them out of case and we're broken. I've had them for 2 months and I've barely wore them do not recommend. Called 4 times and got hung up on,, not to mention that when I talked to them they only offered half price glasses to replaced the defective pair.

I ordered prescription progressive lenses with the "Transitions" package - the intent was to have glasses that would protect my eyes from sun when outside. But the "transitions" does almost NOTHING, for an additional almost $200. Like, maybe 5% on a scale of 1 - 100. I have seen other people's transitions-type lenses actually become sunglasses. These did not.
And their return policy is BS. You can get HALF what you paid back --> minus shipping the old ones back, and minus what you paid in shipping the first time. So, you essentially get nothing back.
Or, you can get 100% back if you choose replacements. But you have to pay shipping and of course, no discounts this time. But without getting the useless "Transitions", I would have to buy 3 or 4 pairs of glasses to make up the cost. Who needs four pairs of the exact same prescription?
I was on hold for nearly an hour before I hung up. No way to actually contact a person.
