Works great easy peasy to use... Select your item on eBay figure out your maximum price input the item and price and Gixen does the rest!
I've been using Gixen for roughly 5-6 years as (initially) a free user, and more recently paying $11 for the 2 year subscription that comes with the backup server, and premium options (like picking when to snipe). It has rock-solid reliability. I use it every time I bid on eBay, and it has never failed me.
Gixen has never let me down as a sniper service! I've used it many times and I've always been pleased with outcome.
I have been using Gixen.com for about a year. I used to use eSnipe. Gixen.com works great for me. I buy about 50-100 items per month, and sometimes many more. I have only seen 1 bid missed (I paid for the mirror site). Its CHEAP, it WORKS, and its a web site. ESnipe is good also, just very expensive for me. Gixen is the answer to your sniping needs, and you need to snipe to win.
I've used Gixen for many years, and have rarely experienced a problem. Without exaggeration, the service has probably saved me thousands of dollars by giving me the opportunity to avoid bidding wars. I highly recommend this service!
I actually did not want to write a review since I did not want to encourage more people to use the service since it would then enable them to snipe against my bids but after reviewing my thoughts and sense of fair play I would now like to let people know that I find this an invaluable service and it has helped me secure many a purchase. It is one of those smart software packages that makes ones life easier like LASTPASS and support is always close to hand. Very recommended.
I have been using Gixen for more years than I can remember. It is hands down the best sniping program out. It's low cost and effective sniping program has won almost all the auctions I have use it for. If you really want to win the item, Gixen will work for you.
I have used Gixen now for some time and it works really well. I usually get what I'm bidding on. I'm very happy with it. It is reliable.
Very useful tool which has always worked well for me:-) Mario, the developer, is very good at keeping registered users up to date with enhancements, etc. I particularly like having his 'add to Gixen' button on the eBay listings I veiw, while his Android app comes in handy when I'm away from my PC:-)
The website is great, after using it for years I have finally subscribed too.
It saves money, as it snipes at the last second, therefore deterring people from getting tempted to outbid me if I place it too early.
Saves time, as I don't need to be around to bid, I set it up says before and it does it.
You can use it for free for up to 4 bids at a time, after years I finally thought I'll just pay to get unlimited bids at a time and I thought time to contribute.
Safe and reliable service.
I've used and found Gixen to be just fantastic for many years. Whilst it does at times remove the game od eBay - it makes what you want easier to obtain I reckon. Just do it!
This is the best sniping software for ebay. I use it to bulk bid on auctions each week... generally from 500 to *******. Its csv upload really helps out in that regard.
Have been a Gixen user for several years and have had no problems whatsoever.
I was recomended to join Gixen years ago by a friend. It was the best thing I did to get what I wanted with minimum effort. I just put my max bid in and leave the rest to Gixen. Its easy to use and saves you the time of bidding yourself.
I loved this site so much I offered to finance the owner offering coupons to the users to encourage more to sign up.
I've never had a snipe fail. There are times I go "I can't believe someone didn't bid me up after that". The interface is simple, not flashy, and just plain works. The chrome plugin makes it easy to add snipes while browsing items on Ebay. I've been used this for YEARS and it has never let me down.
I've been using the Gixen website for eBay Auction sniping for years now and I happily pay the 6 per year for it. It is not the most beautiful user interface but it certainly gets the job done. And it gets the job done much cheaper than any of the competitors that I am aware of.
I have been sniping for about 15 years now. I've tried bidnip, JBidwatcher, and another software sniper that I can't recall the name of.
For a few years now I've stuck with gixen and it is by far the best and easiest snipe solution I have used to date. I would recommend the Firefox add-on (Autosnipe).
One feature I really like is "Multi-win group bidding" which is where multiple snipes of the same type of item can be categorized so that once the specified number of wins is hit, the other snipes are canceled. Example: Bid on 10 widgets with a multi-win "Items to win before canceling" set to 2.4 bids are placed and the 1st and 4th win. The other 6 bids will not be placed.
Another feature I like is that there is a mirror server, so failure is rare. I have never had a snipe misfire yet.
I have to say that I highly recommend Gixen.
I've tried two or three sniping services for use on eBay, and all of them have let me down, with the exception of Gixen. Gixen is the real deal. It works all the time, every time. Try it - you won't be disappointed! And don't forget the creator deserves a few $$ for all his work too.
I used a number of sniping services - BidNip, Justsnipe etc for a number of years until I discovered GIXEN. Now I use GIXEN exclusively as it is far less complicated, is directly linked to Ebay where I do most of my bidding and to date has never missed placing my bids. I would thoroughly recommend without any hesitation, if you are looking for a sniping service, don't go past GIXEN - it is First Class!.
I have been using Gixen for years and it is very easy to use, functionally rich and very reliable. As an avid collector of many things unique and rare I need a tool that will help me win auctions and Gixen does just that.
I've been using Gixen as my eBay sniping service for years both as a free user and as a premium user and have won hundreds of auctions using it. While the interface is a bit dated, everything works well and I've had no issues. I recommend Gixen to anyone looking for a reliable and easy to use automated sniping service.
Answer: TOTALLY LEGIT! Been a paid up user for over a decade and never had a single problem.
Answer: It is obvious the reviewer had all the problems that he incorrectly blames on Gixen because he has visited other websites that have put malware/spyware/keyloggers/viruses on his computer. He won't admit that his problems are his own fault so falsely blames GIXEN for his own incompetence.
Answer: I have not needed to reach Customer Service. Their online help is pretty good. Just read.
Answer: It just works. Simple user interface. You can just "set it and forget it". Maybe the best online tool I have ever encountered.
Answer: Nothing at all. Gixen main service is free up to 4 winning snipes a month. Reliability for the free service is 99.5%. If you want higher reliability you can subscribe to Gixen Mirror. In that case your bid is sent twice, from two servers in different regions to minimize chance of failure. Gixen Mirror is inexpensive, around $6 / year, and there are different subscription types that can be seen on the settings page.
