I have used Gixen to purchase Ebay auction items for more than 5 years. It is comforting to know that my bids will always be considered whether I am there watching them as they occur, out to dinner with friends or sleeping during those midnight auctions. I don't understand how Mario provides this valuable service for so little money.

I am not paid or sponsored or receiving anything for this review. I got an email from Gixen asking me to review them. Normally I wouldnt bother but I really like Gixen's service. I've been using Gixen for many many years. They have been nothing but fantastic. I paste in my eBay auction number and most of the time I win the item as long as I had my max bid set high enough. The fact that Gixen only charges a few bucks a year is pretty sweet. I'd probably pay more. I've won quite a few auctions that I didn't expect to win and I fully know Gixen is why I won.

I have used Gixen for many years and have probably won over a couple thousand ebay auctions using Gixen. It has consistently worked really well for me, and I extremely certain I have saved a lot of money using it. I never do anything on Ebay these days without using it. I have never had any problems I can recall, and as someone using it for probably 6-10 auctions every single week for many years I am pretty sure i would have encountered problems if they were common. Plus I am not exactly forgiving or a pushover or remotely nice to any companies that give me problems, and I always made a point to crucify companies that do me wrong, Up to and including giving negative permanent testimony to the state senate on one company that appears on the state senate website anytime anybody googles me plus using the power of my personal website with it's following of 14 million like a giant sledgehammer on other companies. To be fair you have to call out the good ones too. Gixen has always done well by me, and for me I view them as an essential cost saving tool..

Sniping lets me decide my maximum price. If the item sells below my maximum then I win it. If the item sells for more than my maximum then that's OK too. End of my ebay stress.

Some people have written that they resent paying gixen.com $7.00 USD for a year's service. In Europe that is the cost of 1½ Big Macs. I think that is a very fair price for a service that works. It has ALWAYS worked for me and I have over 1500 evaluations.

I have bee using gixen for many years now. I think I started around 2013, maybe even earlier. I personally absolutely dislike flashy or over engineered products. I require a service that imports my watchlist from eBay and/or allows manual adding of items. The feature I rely on the most is grouping. My mode of operation is simple: I know what type of item I want and what I am willing to pay at the most. With that in mind I scour eBay and add a whole bunch of auctions that fit the bill and group them together in gixen. Now once I win one of this auctions the other grouped auctions get "cancelled", meaning gixen never bids on them. That method is super simple and has never failed me. There is a free mode but I actually pay for this service in order to support the developer as he seems not be backed by a big company. He is the programmer next door. That is rare and I like it.

The Gixen auction program is an awesome product. I regularly use it to get good deals on auction items. I particularly like the grouping function where I can place multiple auction items from different sellers in a group and Gixen will bid until I get one of those items. It then stops bidding on the others. This allows me to set up a snipe for several things in an overnight setting but stops bidding once I win one of them.

I have used the Gixen software for years and win many of my auctions with substantial savings the typical bidding method.
