Great for winners.!
I've been using Gixen for a long time and will continue to be a Gixen user in the future.
Biddingscheduler stopped working and is seemingly out of business. Had to do a bit of research to base my decision on which was going be my next sniping tool. Gixen was the next best alternative. I also took their annual subscription which is very reasonable and ensures that two servers are working to place my bid from two different physical locations. I particularly like the add-on tool which places a button next to the bidding button for each item you want to place a bid on. BTW, this is based on usage from a desktop PC so can't speak on the experience using a phone app. So far it's been working wonderfully. Thank you Gixen!
Gixen has helped me make 10's of thousands of dollars over the years with effective auction snipes. The free service works great if you want to snipe a few auctions casually. The subscription cost is also less than 3 cents a day if you use the service frequently and comes with unlimited snipes, snipe server redundancy, logic to bid/not bid on groups of items depending if you won/lost bids in that group, and more. This is an insanely good bargain, and I would hands down recommend this to anyone looking to get into sniping too.
Have been using Gixen for well over 15yrs and cannot say enough good things about the sniping service. It's super easy to use and I've never had any issues so far/all these years. For those who have busy schedules/not a lot of free time to bid on auctions right before the auctions close... Gixen is the way to go!
Wonderful software, and a wonderful developer. Frequent and clear communication and attention to detail and feature requests. As an added bonus, the license pricing is a true bargain. I have had 4+ years of very positive experience with Gixen. Highly recommended.
I recently signed up for the FREE version of Gixen, after trying it out for just a week, decided to jump right in and purchase the MIRROR version. Since then, Gixen has been sniping with great success for me. The best part for me is putting my bids into Gixen instead of the ebay listings which can draw unwanted attention to those items. For the most part, I either have won auctions at a way better price than I hoped for, or sadly lose them to another bidder that just wants an item at a higher price than I would pay. Also by having it run in the background, it removes the chance that I just forget about items that I am watching. To date, have about 80 or 90 wins. Highly recommended!
Been a user for many years. Gixen has never let me down. If bidding on eBay is part of your life, don't waste another minute bidding directly on the eBay website. Let Gixen do the heavy lifting for you. No more waiting for that last second to try to get an item you've under-bid. Gixen will do it for you, reliably, conveniently and inexpensively. For a few bucks a year, I credit Gixen for my 90% auction win rate... while saving me the cost of Gixen many times over. Gixen is simply indispensable.
I have used Gixen for many years. It allows me to bid last moment and keep the competition unaware of my interest in an item until last minute. Unlike the built in bid system I do not keep raising the bid for days prior to end of auction. I snipe in at the last moment and more often than not, win the item. I use the mirror service and I have not experienced any failed bids. It's worth it if you want to win.
I've been using this site for years to snipe bids and it has more than once payed for itself. While simple, it does what it does very well and I highly recommend!
I have been using Gixen for years now and have been very impressed with its reliability and it also very User friendly.
I use it on a daily basis and would really hate to be without it.
Thanks a lot for having this site!
Regards Sharon
I have been using JBidwatcher for a number of years and found it to be useful software until it had problems with accessing EBay. However, having found this facility I am even more pleased as the bidding takes place outside of my PC. There have been occasions with JBidwatcher where my Internet connection went down or MS decided to download updates and tried to restart my PC. However, couldn't get my PC started as password protected. These are not JBidwatcher problems I find that GIXEN overcomes that problem.
I have only been using it for about a month but no problems except others bidding higher than my max. I have not had any malware problems with it.
I would have given it 5 stars but I don't want the whole world to know about it. Selfish I know!:-)
Used another sniping service but they ran into problems and I lost to many bids on eBay. So I searched and found Gixen. Switched over to Gixen and have been with them for over five years now. They are outstanding. After placing 1000's of bids I have not lost a single one since signing up due to a malfunction from Gixen. Twice a malfunction happened but it was eBay's fault. Gixen is a great sniping tool and they don't charge much at all. And the owner is very polite and answers your questions quickly. I rate Gixen with more than 5 stars if I could. I rarely recommend any company but I don't hesitate at all to recommend Gixen, they are just great (product and service).
I have used this software for over 10 years, and it has never missed a snipe. I win my auctions the vast majority of the time. I would not even bother with auction style listings on Ebay if i didn't use Gixen
Gixen reduces the stress of bidding on eBay. Gixen is an excellent eBay snipe site. Gixen is good because of its simple, clear interface. Gixen has good Help Instructions, for example I had to renew the connection between eBay and Gixen (every 18 months), the help instructions quickly led me. I used the free service for a year, and chose to subscribe at $12/year; subscription avoids advertisements, I have subscribed for 4-years. Also, I like the Group Bid feature; this allows chronological bids on a product until I Win at my price.
I am a Long-Time user of ebay, (since 2006)., with over 1600 transactions recorded.
More than 70% of those transactions are purchases, and more than 70% of those purchases were made using Gixen to win auctions.
I have used Gixen for more than a decade and have never, I repeat, never been let down or had any reason whatever to complain about any aspect of the service.
I congratulate Mario for his excellent product, and admire him for his dedication to that product.
Absolute minimal cost for a totally reliable service that has saved me thousands over the years. Most auctions I win with Gixen are won on average at 40% less than retail price for the item, and sometimes more than that.
I wouldn't be without it.
Good onya Mario!.
I have been a Gixen user for a few years now, and it's helped me win quite a few auctions. I live in Australia and as such a great many auctions of interest are on the other side of the globe (yes flat-earthers, it's a globe) meaning that the majority of these auctions end in the wee hours whilst I am sleeping. Gixen has always worked and help me win. Great work Gixen.
I have used this snipping service for a few years now. They offer a free eBay snipping service that works great, but you can upgrade and support the site for $6 a year. It is a great value compared to other snipping services. Highly recommended!
Gixen is a reliable eBay sniping service, been using it for years, it works "just like it says on the tin"... I pay the optional subscription, it is reward well deserved.
It just works. I've bid on about ten items - not a lot, really - but there is a psychology on ebay that people will increase their bid if they're outbid, so if you have Gixen bid the most you're willing to pay, and it posts a couple seconds before the end of the auction, you will win more often than not. So, yeah. It works. I've never had one problem, and it's pretty easy to use.
I use Gixen for eBay auction sniping.
It works quite reliably for that purpose. The basic service is free, and you can subscribe for very low annual fee to their mirror service (increased reliability via redundancy). I've won many auctions using Gixen, and when I haven't, it's had nothing to do with them...
Answer: TOTALLY LEGIT! Been a paid up user for over a decade and never had a single problem.
Answer: It is obvious the reviewer had all the problems that he incorrectly blames on Gixen because he has visited other websites that have put malware/spyware/keyloggers/viruses on his computer. He won't admit that his problems are his own fault so falsely blames GIXEN for his own incompetence.
Answer: I have not needed to reach Customer Service. Their online help is pretty good. Just read.
Answer: It just works. Simple user interface. You can just "set it and forget it". Maybe the best online tool I have ever encountered.
Answer: Nothing at all. Gixen main service is free up to 4 winning snipes a month. Reliability for the free service is 99.5%. If you want higher reliability you can subscribe to Gixen Mirror. In that case your bid is sent twice, from two servers in different regions to minimize chance of failure. Gixen Mirror is inexpensive, around $6 / year, and there are different subscription types that can be seen on the settings page.
