This is the worst company I have ever purchased anything from. I ordered a pair of shoes and asked to return them; never got a timely message or a return label. The second pair I ordered in a difference color did not fit; so, I asked for an exchange. They sent an exchange, but NEVER sent me a return label for that pair either. Now, I have 3 pairs of shoes that don't fit and I don't like and I am out of pocket hundreds of dollars. Then, their solution is to "donate them to charity"! Meanwhile, I am out $500 - really?

Do not buy your shoes from this company!

I have never written a review before in my entire life. Have no other choice but to save someone else from this experience!

Sizing is way off

I am used to buying European shoes and I'm very familiar with the sizing. I ordered to size 9 American. They were so big that my heel was coming out of the boot I tried to tighten them and they are as tight as they can be with laces and they're still way too big. They fit more like a 9 1/2 or a 10 so I called them and I told them that's nice that they would make another pair and these are so small I can't even get my foot in it so they're more like a 7 1/2 or an eight I can go to them again I said don't you have a size in between these shoes and she said no, there is a 0.6 cm difference in the shoe sizes. I looked it up an American half sizes we have a 0.3 mm difference so it makes a big difference in the size of the shoe now I'm stuck with two pairs of beautiful purple leather lace up boots, and I can't wear either of them.

Dishonest practices

If zero star was a rating, they would deserve it. Please don't waste your money. The shoes are not made in Italy as they state. It's not real leather, it's plastic, worth about $9.99. They remind me of PayLess shoes, they are of such poor quality. I hope at least one person sees this and opt to buy shoe from Thomas Bird. You'll see the quality and the difference in the craftsmanship. They are made it Italy and certified as so. There are no refunds, even if you cancel 10 seconds after purchasing them. They do this because their product is garbage.

I ordered 1 pair of shoes with silver heal and 1 pair of sandals 1 year ago
After cca 4 months I received the shoes that were with 1 size smaller. I told them about it and they said that I must take my size by measuring my foot. I did and I received a pair of sandals larger in front with 1cm. I cannot return the sandals because they said that already was started the 1st pair when I said the shoes were small. Now after 1 year they told me that they can't make anymore my shoes because they don't have anymore the heal requested by me. They also asked a bank account where to transfer the money. I gave them all the info about my bank. Today I received an answer asking me which Routing to use? I am wondering if they are Italians? I lived in Italy 10 years and I didn't meet such people.
I not even know to who to complain? Do you know if I can complain to Guardia Di Finanza?

Run a little on the tight side but I will work in, might need a bandaid on the heal for 1st week. Good quality leather and workmanship. Customer service was especially helpful with providing information about my order status. Will definitely purchase again!

Avoid at ALL COSTS

Paid £150 for a pair of substandard shoes that were far too narrow. Trying to get return information from Girotti was IMPOSSIBLE. Tried to get my money refunded to my PayPal account but they were having none of it too. Please, do not give this company your cash. They are charlatans!

Okay… but the first pair of shoes I ordered from Girotti Custom-made shoes arrived today and I CANNOT! As much as I should not have spent this much money, designing and having shoes custom-made, I just can't bring myself to feel regret. Just … look at them! LOOK. AT. THEM! I wanted shoes to match my blue suit, my grey suit, and my black suit, with a spot of "oh… maybe that's a bit much, Erick" added too them (thus the metallic silver quarters). They came out even better than I thought they would!

In the bad scenario of " Made in China '' you won't find such bad work done as on my sandals. I spent all summer to communicate with the company... One pair sent first was two sizes larger and exchange one is impossible to wear... Sharpening pain and blood on the heels from their stitches...
They will never ever return your money back...
Very bad experience with customer service... I wish i would read reviews before

The shoes are not of a quality that is appropriate for the price. The attempt to return is excluded with the statement of customization. Unless you want to have a different size. Poor workmanship or different appearance of the shoe compared to website is not a reason accepted for a return. I was even asked to re-measure my feet and send the pictures of it as proof. Sorry but this is unbelievable behavior from a seller. Never ever again...

I bought these shoes and they arrived after a few weeks. They ended up being the narrowest shoe I've ever tried, and there is a lump in the toe. When I have tried to get a return they have refused and instead are sending me the same message asking me to send them my measurements so they can send me the correct size. The issue is not the size. The issue is the production. It is extremely frustrating and the prices are absolutely not justified. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I ordered 3 pair of shoes. The shoes I ordered were for a big event. They did not arrive in time. They informed me that they did come in time! No they did not! They did not accept any returns. GIROTTI has very poor customer services and an awful business plan!

Buyer Beware! Non standard sizing, then they staff tells you it's your fault not theirs! TERRIBLE customer service. I purchased a size 12 and the toe was extremely tight. I returned the shoes and asked for an exchange, they asked me to measure my foot and when I sent them my measurements they told me I ordered the wrong size and the mistake was mine. EVERY OTHER PAIR of shoes I own is a size 12! If I could choose a negative rating I would give them a -10!

If I could give zero stars they would be the front runner. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BE FOR BUYING. They are dishonest and are only out to make money. The shoes are not custom made and they are not made in Italy. They are made right here in the USA. No imported leather, actually, its not even leather. Simply trash. Scam artists.

Girotti Shoes are not worth the exorbitant prices they charge. The leather material used looks synthetic and the sole of the shoes l bought is totally rubbish. I was looking for a gòod welted shoe sole but rather a light weight sole.
You can't fault their shoe design but the price and materials are not worth it.
It takes a long time for their items to be delivered. No one should believe their hype that, the shoes are bespoke shoes. Crap materials

BUYER BEWARE

I love the shoes but after a grand total of 7-8 hours of wear they have begun falling apart and deteriorating in 8 different spots. It is VERY difficult to find a general customer service section on their website and no one responds anyway. You only have 30 days (from the day you purchase) to return and that's up for debate. It took around 3 weeks to receive them so a refund would be off the table anyway after one more week. $220 may be chump change to others but that's a LOT of money to me. I never ever spend a lot of money on shoes for myself so this is really disheartening.
I'm pretty sure I'll be one of the many that will have to eat that money are just stuck with shoes they can't wear…. SHAME shame on this company. DO NOT BUY FROM GIROTTI… unless you enjoy standing over a toilet dropping money in and flushing.

You DEFINITELY DO NOT WANT these shoes, or the bull$#*! company that sells them. Not remotely worth the price, the product is extremely poorly made despite the promo photos. Any e-commerce company that welcomes you "into the family" must be immediately suspicious. Three month wait, for a total disappointment in quality. The "pro" reviews are plants. DO NOT BUY FROM GIROTTI!
