Terrible quality product that is not fit for intended purpose. It arrived damaged. The online photos were photoshopped to remove ugly visible fixings. Total waste of time and money. Deliberately deceitful.

Bought three bookshelves. Constructed one. Poor quality - joins didn't match, warps in boards, rough edges, etc. Asked for a return of two unopened units based on change of mind due to poor quality (would be impossible to undue the first one without "damage" probably, it was that bad to construct). Had one online chat which said they'd help do this and asked for photos. Photos sent and then absolutely no further engagement despite numerous contacts. Lodged a complaint with Qld Fair Trading (first NSW Fair Trading but then found Dshop to be a PO Box in QLD. Abject poor service - actually NO service, and no commitment to their return policy on the website. BEWARE. CANNOT RECOMMEND.

It was supposed to be deliver to me within 3 days when placing an order, it took one week for me to receive the table. If i didn't ask for it, it would be more than one week. The slat is so flimsy that it gets crack easily during assembling. The table is so wobbly that it can't hold the reasonable weight on the top. The shop refused to return and replacement request from me.

What ever you do keep away from this online store. Products were delivered very quickly, however with some broken and damaged parts. Despite several chats and formal complaints, we were not able to have anyone address the issue. No replacement and no refund in sight.
They are a bunch of thieves whatever you do keep away from them.

-1000 stars if I could. Beyond me how ACCC hasn't shut this s*&# show down already. Selling unsafe gym equipment to people and then using bully tactics, playing games and making it so hard to retrieve a refund despite all legitimate efforts and a false Return Policy Clause, to the point where if you had no time and patience you would most likely tolerate it and then get injured. For what its worth, pay the extra and purchase what you can see from your local shops. In times like these, go in and support the local shops. That extra 1-200 you try to save by buying from Shop is not worth it in the long run. At least your keeping someone in a job during times like this!

June 2nd bought a scale from Dshop, it did not work as described, you could put the same item on the scale and get a different weight every time! Sent video, was told would get refund but over 4wks later, numerous chat sessions, numerous email and lots of time wasted my request has been "expedited to tier 2 support" and I have no faith that I will see the refund. Will report to consumer affairs and try and get refund through credit card company. Never again!

A nightmare
June 25, 2020

On the 3rd of June I have finally managed to order the rug I have been waiting months and months for (no exaggeration) to become available/be back in stock. I was so excited! I have even paid for toll delivery so I can track it along the way.

A few days later... I come home and there lays a rug that my husband accepted delivery for that looks NOTHING like the one I ordered!

I contacted Dshop right away to inform them and organise a return... and so it began...

4 weeks later and the nightmare continues. Lies, rubbish email correspondences, fake escalations and the list of frustration goes on and on.

More than 35 email correspondences, more than 10 phone calls to their so called "customer support" more than 4 conversations with their live chat... And still nothing! Nothing to put or at least ease my frustration.

I have been advised that the rug I've correctley ordered and paid for can't be shipped out to me until they confirm that the wrong rug (the one they delivered) gets collected first. I specifically took time off and changed my schedule so I can stay home for the courier to come. And nothing all day! No one showed up. No phone call or e-mail notification or an apology about what happened. I had to call Dshop myself to find out what had happened and they had no idea! My Lord after I had FINALLY made contact with them. They have agreed to organise another courier which took another week.

I was so fed up because at that point I really did expect them to say sorry, we will pick up the wrong rug and deliver the correct one on the same day... But hey. Not all dreams come true right! Ofcourse they didn't go that! Mind you. Their moto is Customer First! Yeah right!

So I wait another week and the courier came picked up the rug n left. Now time to finally get my rug! Far from it! It gets worse. I contacted DShop to inform them of the collection only to hear them say "sorry your rug is out of stock" and we can't ship it out to you"!

By that time I had actually run out of tears. Not only was I left rugless, put I have to wait another 3 weeks for it to become available again and then another week for Dshop to deliver it. That's assuming that they will actually place an order for me to get one, and deliver the right one this time.

I am sick and tired of what has happened! I want someone to help me get my rug! I want DSHOP to deliver my rug as well as give me back my money! I don't think I am asking for much in return at all! I mean nothing can compensate me or help me forget the horrific experience that I am still living till now. But they can at least offer the rug free of charge as an apology of what they are making me go through.

Who would have thought that a beautiful rug to own and recommend to friends could turn into a traumatic experience that no one at Dshop is willing to end.

Sad! Very sad!

Dshop you were a favourite. But enough is enough!

I want my rug to be delivered!

Ps I also suggest that you take off "customer first" moto from your website. Customers are too smart to believe this lie.

Never buy from Dshop! Bought a shelf with wrong instructions. Contacted them and was told it was the only one they had... Very unprofessional! Several boards were missing and contacted them more than 5 times! They will tell you they are handling this but actually no one will call back. They just want to delay this until you move on. Will tell all friends NOT to buy from Dshop. You just can't do business like this.

Faulty treadmill
June 24, 2020

Hi I have been trying for almost one month to have. Someone from dshop take me seriously about the faulty power switch on treadmill. It has to be turned off at wall for power switch is stuck on the on position. This also makes me concerned that something else will most probably fail. The treadmill by the way did not look like the nice big sturdy picture they had on their site.we have been offered a gift voucher which we do not want. I declined their offer in my email and told them I would like full refund at no cost to me or will be taking further action. Have not heard back from them yet.

This company sent the wrong product and when I asked to resolve it, they offer me a refund of half the price. In hindsight, maybe I should have taken it? Now they have sent the product again and it's still wrong! I have escalated with them via Chat and email multiple times and have had no resolution and am now being ignored. So two incorrect rugs which they should be taking and replacing and now left me not able to use as they are gross and don't suit my house. They should be ashamed of themselves, don't use this company and go through the hassle like I did.

I ordered a new office chair which looked really good on their website. It had an extendable footrest and electric massage function. When it arrived, (in a build it yourself flat pack), I reached into the box to start taking components out and the first thing my fingers contacted was a very sharp, very jagged piece of metal which immediately sliced open the top of my finger causing it to bleed profusely. When I eventually got the chair built it was very poor quality with many defects, one of which was that no matter what I tried, the back of the seat would literally flop backwards at the slightest touch making it completely unusable.
I rang and emailed them several times and was fobbed off with automated messages stating that I would be contacted by a customer service officer within 24 to 48 hours. There was never any contact! After several days of futile attempts to get a response I lodged a claim for a full refund with PayPal. I eventually won the claim but still had to pay $60.00 in non refundable costs to send the chair back to them before they would refund just the purchase price of the chair. Why is the return freight my responsibility? If you sell defective crap you should bear the cost of returning it. Stay away, these people are terrible to deal with.

Damaged item
June 19, 2020

Item arrived badly damaged. I emailed the day of arrival with photos, and then three days later... And still no response. I have put a claim through to PayPal to get money back. DShop have since sent an email stating that if we can keep the item that they will give me a $65 credit. I asked them to look at the photos I'd sent. The item is unusable. We want a full refund. No email since. Dodgy company, poor quality items and unbelievably unprofessional. DO NOT WASTE Your time and money with this appalling group. I will be warning friends and family on social media. Disgraceful company!

The worst online retailer!

Do not waste your time and money with this poor excuse of store.

Customer service? There is none.
Follow through - none.
Professionalism - none
Care and effort - none

This appalling list would become too lengthy if I were to outline everything that's wrong with DSHOP.

First Item arrived cracked and broken. This was purchased in April. 2nd item arrived scratched and damaged and I was missing 2 items. I called and was promised they would be refunded immediately and I said cancel the missing items that never turned up and refund immediately. A week later, the 2 items arrived. I opened up a box and it too was chipped scratched and damaged. Despite 50+ attempts to get the company to do what is legally required, I'm still being forced to continually email, call and write via the online chat But to no avail.

A different person, supposedly senior named Rachelle wrote to me asking for video footage. Are you serious? I sent multiple photos and repeatedly. It seems what they do is LIE and try to make it impossible to obtain a refund for damaged goods, which is against Australian Consuner law.

Prior to writing this, I threatened to write exactly what has transpired everywhere online, so that you don't waste your time and money. It's simply not worth it!

This pathetic excuse of a retailer should go bankrupt and my only desire is to obtain a refund and have them collect all this garbage, as my small apartment is not a storage facility. I've attempted to resolve this since April.

DISGUSTING! Please remember your consumer dollar is worth something and irrespective of the apparent great pricing, nothing is worth this nightmare.

I urge you to share your horror stories, so we can eliminate this disgraceful online retailer. Taking the time to write such reviews will signal to Google that this is NOT a trusted company and then their rankings will fall, as they should!
