The gift that I ordered was delivered a day late, and delivered a different item than what I paid for. Dishonest unreliable.
I ordered a lovely basket for my sister in England when she showed me a picture of what she got, it was a completely different basket, not at all what I ordered. I had emailed them and they requested the picture, which I sent. They said they would look into this and get back to me. I have had to email them 2 more times, each time they will get back to me. They never got back to me and I am very unhappy with this company. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing the gift basket
I placed on order with them. They sent me an email that my credit card was rejected. Now that is interesting because that has never happened before. Let's assume for a moment that it could have happened. I called the on their US number. It goes to voicemail. Doesn't the website say that they have 24 x 7 support. Any ways, I start a live chat and get to this person called Sarah Brown. I ask her question but there are no replies from the other end. The first time the rep ended the chat, and the next time no one bothered to reply.
Here is what I am worried about after this experience. Is my or my credit card information under any chance of identify theft with these guys?
They cheat you saying that the recipient was not home while they tried delivering, whereas in all the cases online including mine the recipient was available. But what did not happen is they never actually delivered.
They are very professional on holding you with the automated messages which have pre-written sweet lines, it would make you hold on and hope that they are going to deliver or refund your product. BUT obviously it never happens.
I do agree that every company has positive and negative reviews, BUT this one has the most number of negative reviews I ever came across online. SO please watch out for your own money people, I do not want more people to fall in this SCAM, HAPPY SHOPPING :)
I had a bad experience dealing with these guys they did not deliver my order on my wife's birthday until 10pm in the evening and when i cancelled the order they have not refunded my money.
The order day i got a call from one of their representative stating that the order was not delivered as i was not home and they visited my thrice. Which is a plain lie as my wife was home the entire day.
Please don't order from this website. Terrible service... Wish I had read reviews beforehand. I ordered a gift basket for a friend in Dubai and was told that my credit card details could not be verified and was asked to scan a copy of my credit card and ID and resend it. I refused to do that seeing as there have never been issues with online payments using my credit card and I was concerned about how my private information would be used. The money was taken out of my account but no parcel was delivered. I called to speak to someone but there was no answer and their live chat was impossible to navigate and I got no real answers. The money ended up getting credited to my account but I didn't receive an email saying this would and happen and why. I would never use this website again- completely dodgy!
I am not sure why google shows their review as 4 stars and above. The service is very unprofessional. They promised that the gifts will be delivered on the specific date but when they can't deliver the gifts on time, they do not even bother to respond. I missed the birthday gift to my friend. This is a very terrible company and everyone should stay away from them.
We will NEVER use Giftsnideas.com again and we advise anyone who wish to send your family a hamper or a gift internationally not to use their company as their website is deceitful, we ordered a hamper worth $92.00 and they delivered a cheap quality hamper not even worth $10.00 in my opinion. I have posted the pictures in their Facebook account as I made a complaint about it but their customer service was the most appalling and unhelpful I've ever encountered. They said they had to replace the items to prevent the delay of delivery but as to their terms and conditions, they should be able to do that after informing us which they never did. It is a very disappointing experience overall.
As other reviews have said, do not use this company. Waste of time! Awful customer service, did not respond to my query at all. Just glad I didn't get charged anything. Wish I'd read the reviews first before wasting my time.
Horrible experience. Please don't use it the website shows pictures that are so beautiful but in reality when the gift is received it looks nothing like the picture I had ordered a big fluffy bear with bonbon chocolates and the customer service got back to me saying that the chocolates are not available so I told them It's fine just deliver it with a substitute as soon as possible because they had anyway delayed my order by one day because of their security checks. When the package was delivered the bear looked nothing like the picture it was one of those cheap white bears that you find from the dollar store that says I love you with a Red Heart. I paid 90$ for all that inconvenience and the product didn't even turn out to be the same. Please if you don't want to waste you money avoid using this website. I know I won't ever be using it.
I had sent to my daughter on her birthday "red rose delicious" through "giftsnidea" for delivery in Dallas on 9th Sept. The gift comprises of 12 roses and 2 kg of chocolate cake heart shaped or circular costing 139.55 US$. She received 12 roses but the cake was 1 kg or less and not the chocolate cake and was rectangular in shape. I complained as the cake was just half of its weight than what I ordered. I provided the picture of cake also. They replied that they will investigate and revert back me.The first reply I received that "As we informed you earlier that we are dealing with florist and not bakery. Hence, we are not responsible.
I replied, it not my concern and has not been informed earlier.The product is listed at your site and I had chosen. Finally, reply came as the florist got 10$ discount and has not weighed the cake before delivery, so we can refund 10$ to you. Are they joking?
I wish I didn't have to give them any stars! I don't do reviews but I am fuming! I guess this is a lesson learned to read the reviews before you order from any online company. I experienced pretty much everything everyone else has on all of these reviews I just read on this page :( Such a $#*!ty thing to do people so wrong! They need to be shut down and arrested!
I am very upset with your service. I had ordered for 2 items and had specifically mentioned that I needed both the items to be delivered on the same day same time. You cannot deliver items based on your convenience. And to top it up, the second item hasn't been delivered yet - its been over a week since I ordered. And the only thing the customer reps have to say is - "I'm sorry we can't really do anything about it". Well you know what? You can. You need to notify your customers if there is gonna be a delay or if the product is gonna be replaced.
And why do you have items listed on your site when you don't have them in stock? I order chocolates, you deliver cupcakes. I order silver rose, you deliver gold rose. Please be very clear on your site as to how many you have in stock and to what locations do they apply to. You are just cheating on your customers by not being transparent about your products and your service.
Oh and you should give an option of negative rating. 1 is too good to be given to you.
Now I'm even doubting the quality of the gifts that I ordered. Never ever ever ordering from here again.

I placed this order one month back. For a birthday cake for my son, today is his birthday, and I received a mail saying that cake is not delivered because it got damaged.

I am one of the many suppliers to GiftsnIdeas. We always fulfilled every order sent to us, but today I have no choice but post a complaint about the company because they have not paid us for months and they owe us thousands of US$ -s for our services.
If any other supplier is reading this message board please let us know your experience with GiftsnIdeas. I cannot imagine that we are the only one company that is being ripped off by them.
They are always promising to pay, but from time to time they just pay a small portion of it and keep promising they will pay the rest later and later and later.
We always fulfilled every order, even bending over backwards. Many times they send us orders on the day when the recipient supposed to receive it.
I have been asking them to pay us on a daily basis, but all I get is just promises, which they not deliver. As of today this matter is still not resolved. This battle is going on for 18 months now and I am tired of fighting for my money.
BAD SERVICE! I made an order for a cake 10 days prior a Birthday... they cancelled the order without saying anything to anyone. The cake wasn't delivered. I contacted the customer service by phone NO ANSWER or there is an ANSWER but none is talking, by e-mail I got just an automatic reply and finally by live chat... where I found out they cancelled everything, no apology, nothing! Just an automatic reply. BAD BAD SERVICE!
This has been the worst experience I have ever had with an on line company. Placed an order with them for 2 delivery dates which they said was possible on the site. Received an email confirmation that my payment was received an the order was being processed. On the delivery date, the recipient said they had not received anything. Called the company and they had put it on hold because they couldn't reach me to confirm my details … however they were able to process my credit card…. Interesting. They promised a delivery for the following day or at the latest on Monday. On Monday, there was still no delivery. I had ordered an additional item for a later delivery which was processed. I received an email saying they did not have that item available and they would like to deliver chocolates instead. I requested a refund because the order was already late and I didn't want chocolates. They wrote back saying they would send my order out. I had to write them again demanding a refund before they were able to understand. Customer Service talks very nicely and apologizes for the inconvenience but that does little to reduce my frustration. I placed an order an had a specific delivery date … 18th Birthday of my daughter. She thought we had forgotten about her because this ridiculous company can't do what they promise. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY.

A week after it was overdue, I called Customer Service, No Answer
I contacted the chat line. I was told my order had been canceled and refunded a week after it was placed, and 2 weeks before it was due. Yes, I got a refund. No i was not told the order was cancelled.
I think this is a scam to get Credit card numbers. BEWARE
I ordered a box of chocolate for my brother's birthday, it arrived 10 days after birthday! And had 2 boxes of crackers and biscuits! Not valued even 10 dolors. I am very upset and will definite; y sue them
I used giftsnideas to send a gift, made the order and set a deliver date. 2 days later it was not delivered and still has not been delivered. From the live chat and help line all i get is"we apologze and understand, please wait 24 hours"
This company is an absolute disgrace and would recommend that they are avoided
