Where is the negative 100 rating. Like so many others, dont do business here. Period.

Call your Bank and have them investigate, tell them you purchased a product and never received it. Then block this company on your account(your bank can do this).

WORST VISA CARD EVER... I have 100 x $50 Cards that NO ONE online will accept... I gave them to 100 of my customers and they all returned them because NO ONE would accept them... Worthless scraps of plastic. Cost me over $630 in Australia Post fees for the cards and $5000 for the credit and I cant use them. AND THEY REFUSE TO REFUND THEM...

Tried to place an order for an eCard 5 times, using credit and debit cards and every time the website would say that there was a problem with the payment, which is nonsense, as I buy constantly from Amazon and other places without a problem.
Shiping by First Class mail takes 8 to 11 bussiness days (more than 2 weeks)? Where are you shipping from, China?

Ridiculous company
December 26, 2017

So much for convenience, it says 2 - 24 hours and I'm thinking, yeah that's just in case something crashes. Kinda thing... no, they mean it...

I could have gone to ANYplace else and gotten a card immediate, Amazon, or any vendor...

GiftCard.com... Lame 3rd party of some sort who cannot process things painlessly.
Ps I thought it would be fun to personalize the card with the morning Christmas photos, (it was going to be a "Wait! There's more!" with uploading this days photo, I did, and talk about no fun at all... (course my kids got the budget and my credit card number) since I looked, and looked, and then checked the account only to read "We have to contact the Purchaser before processing" (I wanted the VISA so the kids could have fun entering "their VISA" number for their computer game purchases)

I mean this GiftCards.com system is a mess... why not process it, and leave it up to American Express system which does the auto=call IF system finds it worth verifying.

Sticking with Amazon no matter what from now on. Just that I had trouble finding the VISA virtual card on Amazon...

VISA, AMEX, why aren't they doing this themselves?

I want to make sure I start out by saying in spite of my 1-star rating, these people are better than their competitors at Amex or GiftCardMall.

By the time they are done with fees you can easily spend over 10% of the total on posting, handling and charges. Its money for pity sake.

My advice, think of a nice way to present a check and mail it.

Multiple problems with this company over the year. Shame on me for returning because their competitive advantage is ability to customize cards and order and greeting card with a message. No longer worth it. Two years in a row now problems with same order, after receiving confirmations from them that prove I ordered correctly. Last year, ordered 7 cards, rec'd 6. A fight to get the 7th in time for Christmas. This year, same order, same 7 people! I got 2 cards in the same of same person with different dollar amounts, and no card for the 7th. When they sent the "corrected" order, right name and amount, with the wrong greeting card and message. And they charge for the greeting cards. No response to emails sent from their site. Awful Customer Service. If you don't have the right email confirmation in front of you, with every last charge, they won't help you. Even if you know how many cards you ordered, have order number, etc. It has to be one specific email confirmation.

Ordered $150 card as gift. Posted on giftcard.com as SENT. Never received by recipient EMBARRASSING, complicated situation all around. Site Blames Post Office., Post Office says "SCAM" probably in cahoots with thieves., not repeatable. Says all., when the DISTRIBUTER can't verify the seller then WHY is the business allowed to stand? We'll see :) I'm out $150... but I'm on this.

SCAM!
September 16, 2017

I never received the gift card that I ordered. They just wasted my time. They charged my credit card. Now I have to waste more time disputing the charges with my credit card company. Gift card delivery should be made instantly by email. In the end, I never received the gift card and my credit card was charged!

I give this site a one star because of one single reason. They do not honor their delivery date as stated on their web site. I paid for express delivery service (cost $33.73), which said to deliver within 5 days. But I am still waiting for the delivery after 7 days!

Awful company.
July 18, 2017

Lost a gift card. They said they would replace. I waited ten days and nothing came. When I contacted them again they said the refund had been cancelled. They could not give a reason why. When I further asked if I was not paying close attention on the cancellation whatbwouldnhave happened, they stayed I would not have received a replacement and they would keep the funds. They do not make getting the refund easy and then cancel it. This company is shady. Makes me wonder how many people never have an opportunity to use their card.

I ordered two e-gift cards, small denominations, for gifts for my niece and nephew. One for Michael's Craft Store and one for Target. I checked daily for them to be received, and NOTHING by promised date or thereafter. I wrote to CS, and got some BS story about "Order was cancelled by compliance department... charges will be removed from your card... blah blah blah". On; y AFTER I wrote; NO prior notification or any sense made of why, just that response. Seriously? Worst first experience, and will NOT be back.

Ordered a gift card through this site. I've met with some Blackhawk folks in my professional life, so I expected a strong experience. Boy was I wrong, it sucked and I've learned my lesson. If you're reading this and considering using GiftCards.com, I suggest you go to your local big pharmacy or supermarket to pick up the card(s) you need directly.

First, the estimated delivery date is off by at least a week. You'd think they'd account for USPS delays, but no. I cancelled my order because the bad delivery estimate made the order too late for the occasion. If your estimate is off by a week, I'd come up with a new formula.

Second, there is only one way to cancel an order and it is over the automated phone system. If you choose the option to check on an existing order, they ask for your card number. Because we're expected to have the number of a card we haven't received yet?!? Someone didn't bother to check the UX.

Third, there is no way to go back on their silly phone system. They ask you for a number you don't have, and there is no way to go back to the previous menu. So you get stuck in a loop of a recording treating you like you're an idiot. IT'S A TRAP! You gotta call back because that's the most efficient answer Blackhawk could come up with.

Blackhawk should get rid of this site and stick with the kiosks. The people I've met at Blackhawk are more than smart enough to realize how crappy their online system is, but I'm also positive that they don't care because online orders likely account for a tiny fraction of their revenue. Still, that's no excuse. If the cost of fixing the system is greater than the income generated by it, they should get rid of it.

Once I got a human on the line, it was easier to deal with, but their excuse for the late delivery is BS. Most other online vendors I use get their delivery estimates right, what is GiftCard.com's problem?

I recently ordered $1k in gift cards from this site, and while waiting for them to arrive, I came across these reviews. Naturally, I freaked out thinking I had been scammed out of a large amount of money. Would I ever even receive my cards? If I did, would they even work? I talked to multiple representatives at the company, and everyone was very friendly to me, provided me a full refund and an explanation for the reviews (mostly people improperly attempting to use E-Cards at stores). They pointed me to TrustPilot where they have TONS of excellent reviews, and I now have every reason to believe my cards would have arrived within the projected timeframe and worked as advertised. Even though I never got to use my cards, I am leaving this review because of the top-notch customer service I received from this company.

Nightmare!
June 22, 2017

I discovered 4/22/2017 that all $500 had been removed from my visa giftcard due to dormancy. I was initially told the funds were turned over to my state of residence (escheated) but my state division of abandoned property had no record of this occurring. This should have been my first clue that this interaction was not going to go well, that a company selling financial instruments was going to make a customer track down their own money. Fortunately, I was both purchaser and receiver and still live at the same shipping and billing address, because if you are trying to make a recovery GC. C will try to muddy the waters by telling you that the purchaser must contact them, information must be verified, etc. It took 2 months of persistence and filing 2 BBB complaints before this was finally resolved on 6/18/2017. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. During this process, I can't tell you how many times I was lied to, given incorrect information, and subjected to stall tactics.

Scammers!
May 26, 2017

These people are total scammers. I tried to activate a $500 gift card my mother bought me and they said to go online, that didn't work so I called and they directed me online. They said that is my only choice and when i asked to speak to a manager i was on hold for 10 minutes and then the call dropped.

Terrible company to work with. Placed an order and within 5 mins requested to correct delivery name (not address) and their response was "takes 24-48h to process the request". At that moment, I cancelled the request - refund received within 48h. HOWEVER, the order was completed and sent to the gifted party! I had to explain to my customer they are not active and to throw them away! Extremely embarrassing! Giftcards was not able to stop the shipment and advised that I call to stop. Horrible customer service and this company should close it's doors ASAP.

NetSpend gift card
April 10, 2017

Worst gift card in life. All I wanted to do was activate my car then I asked Social Security number as well as favorite color and so on so on just for activation give me a break. Do not buy this card seems cheap for only 2.95 but the catch is simple. They charge you a dollar every time you use it as a transaction that you have to sign for and two dollars if you use your pin number to get cash back. Hear me loud one Run as fast as you can to much information you need just for activation you don't need this. One big headache don't do this to yourself I will never buy it again!
