Found this website when I sent a Kroger gift card to a friend and was going to send her a couple of other cards. Purchased in July, recipient never received. Contacted them again at the end of August, said they would cancel the cards and send new ones. Been 22 days and cards still haven't been received. They are telling me I will receive a refund, but we will see.

I purchased (2) $100 Safeway Egiftcards. I called within 24hrs to find out why my daughter had not received an email and was told that my order needed further information to process (even though my account was already debited, not held as your associate told me) I was then told that the order would be processed and she would receive her email with the attached cards that evening or first thing in the morning. The next morning she received 2 emails with a "redeem" button attached. Neither email had a working giftcard, she was notified to call customer service. Since that day I have placed multiple phone calls to the 877 number listed on my invoice and have been told that it was moved to a second level tier for further investigation. I was told it was an IT issue and that department was working on it. In the meantime my daughter (an ex Marine) has no access to money to buy groceries for my grandchildren. The past 2 days I have multiple calls into Giftcardmall to find out a status update and have been told the same thing I even asked your representative if the 2nd tier answer was a canned response since each rep had the same exact response as well as multiple review sites online that consumers use to let others know of fraudulent activity from vendors. My last call to Giftcardmall today I had a Safeway customer service rep involved in the conference call. I asked the Giftcardmall rep if they have known that they had an issue for well over 4 days were they still offering giftcards for Safeway to still be purchased causing others to have the same issue and I was told "YES". This type of business practice is very alarming and unfortunate that a company like Safeway has partnered with.
This company is a total illegitimate rip off business. You will NEVER get your card or money refunded. I reported to my bank as fraud, and they are going to fight it out with them. Please do yourself a favor. Run AWAY!
I ordered a Safeway Ecard for a gift for the purpose of being able to send it to myself, print it, and stick it in a card and send out same day. The email with the gift card came right away which pleased me. However, everytime I went to "Redeem" I got an error message on the giftcardmall.com website. I was trying prior to the 3 hours it said it could take so I stopped trying and decided to send it out next day. Next day comes, I try to redeem it and no luck again. So I call, they say theyll escalate it to their level 2 management and I should hear from them within 3-5 business days. HA! I wanted this thing same day. So i request to cancel. And I'm told it takes 7-15 days to receive a refund. Joking right? No. Ill can wait for the refund but I will NEVER ever try to buy another gift card from them again. Way to lose a potential repeat customer losers.
Bought month ago, called 3 times to aware, they continued to tell me that they have 14 business days to deliver, finally after one month they cannot find my order, and promised to issue refund in 14 days, unbelievable!
Ordered a Home Depot e-card that should have arrived within 4 hours. After 24 hours still waiting. I called and was told it could take up to 72 hours. I should have ordered from Homedepot.com and it would have arrived in less than 5 minutes.
I received a gift card on which fraud was committed. I filed a claim, providing all documentation requested: copy of purchase receipt, completed dispute form, etc. This was over 6 mos ago; I was assured the process would take 45-60 days.
I have been patient and recently called for a status update... twice. Both times, they didnt have any answers and said they would have to "look into it". I was told I would receive a call back and both times nobody returned my call. I just called and now, suddenly, they told me they need a bank statement showing the card being purchased... after I already sent the purchase receipt.
Are they actually serious? Imagine how ridiculous I feel now having to ask the person who kindly gave me this card to find their bank statement from last year and go through the hassle of sending it to this "company". What a joke... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! IF YOU WANT TO GIVE SOMEONE A MONETARY GIFT, JUST GIVE THEM CASH OR WRITE A CHECK.
I don't know what problems other customers had, but I went on to get an "iTunes" card, after being disappointed by another big brand website, and I placed my order, and literally 3-8 minutes later I had a message saying my gift had arrived!... I had absolutely NO Problems... and I am a very happy customer... kind of funny too, b/c I read the bad reviews after already purchurcing my card, freaked out, logged in to check my estimated wait time, and to my suprise found, they had already sent my gift card!... I will definitely be back!... THANK U GIFTCARDMALL...:-))))
I bought a giftcard with a tracking number. The giftcard was delivered and The tracking number came after the giftcard was delivered. If I had read the reviews I had never bought a giftcard from this website. I called thrm to refund the money for the tracking, and the told " it may take up to 10 days to be reviewed and it is NOT garanteed that the money would be returned." They are not serious.
I bought a gift card for a family member. My atm was charged within 15 minutes but no card has been sent. I am furious and do not have the extra money for another gift card. DO NOT USE Giftcard mall!
I was trying to send my sons egift cards for, Safeway, a grocery store. Was told it takes a couple of hours to send. Days went by and no one called me back. They finally received the emails and they do not work. I still have not heard from them and apparently they do not have any supervisors. Just disputed the charges with my credit card company because of course they charged my account instantly.
Wish I also had read the reviews. I assumed since the Safeway sight sent me directly to them they were reputable. Learned my lesson!
I needed to buy a gift card fast, so I thought this was the perfect website to do this. I wish that I had read reviews to how awful this website really is. I didn't want to make an account, so i checked out as a guest. It then told me that the e-delivery would take more than a day to send. So i decided to make an account using the same email. It was working perfectly until i logged out, and wanted to log back in. It didn't work, and I know I wasn't putting my password wrong because I had logged in before. I couldn't hit forget password, because it said an error has occurred. I even made a new account using the same Email i used to order my things. I called the number and they couldn't help me at all. So i just cancelled the order all together. They suck.
I wished I had read the reviews before I bought an e-gift card. The site said the ecard would be sent to the recipient within 3-4 hours. They have already charged my credit card and it has been 12 hours and they still have not processed the e-gift card.
I ordered a gift card for a birthday gift on a Monday. Wednesday rolled around and the status was still not shipped. I sent an email, they responded with in a few hours about how the card was going to ship Thursday. I requested to cancel the transaction, which I got another response confirming the cancellation.
Even though I cancelled this order and got a confirmation via email that it was cancelled the company still sent the gift cart.
This business will not survive if they don't start getting faster shipping times. They need new management, operations, IT personal because whatever they are or in this case, not doing is probably going to make them bankrupt.
It takes this company so LONG to process a simple egift card. It takes them days! Who is running this company? And who is running their IT systems? It should take a modern company less than 1 hour to process an order.
I have never written a review before. I cannot believe how bad this company's customer service is, but I should have looked at other reviews first. The site is EXTREMELY confusing and it will charge you without a clear confirmation. I erroneously was charged when I was shopping for an Ecard instead of a mailed card. The customer service representative was completely unhelpful. Do NOT use this company. Read the other reviews first
It took 18 hours for my itunes gift card to be emailed to me! I could have gotten in my car and drive to the store and bought one and used it in that amount of time. The website claimed most arrive in four hours. What a waste of time.
Horrible experience. We placed an order because we needed a quick gift. Site said gift card should be emailed in less than 4 hours. 5 hours later, nothing. So I called and the rep told me that it could take anything up to 72 hours. Apparently the orders are placed in a queue and processed manually, one by one! Ended up ordering an Amazon gift card for instant email delivery, which was sent in about 2 minutes.
I ordered an e-gift card for my mother's birthday yesterday. I didn't see anything that mentioned it would not be delivered on the same day. After 8 hours and no gift card, I called customer service where I was told that the credit card went through and was processed and the gift card was in the queue to be sent. After 12 hours and another call, I was told the same thing. This morning I get an email saying it was cancelled because they were missing information. This is a scam, I will never do business with them again.
Answer: Mine NEVER worked at any store or online. I am still trying but not optimistic.
