I bought a train and bus pass through their website no place during the reservation. It says that you have to go to the airport and pick it up and it's not a r-ticket after I paid for it it notified me that I have to pick it from the airport when I try to cancel it, they claim that there is no 24 hour window cancellation,
I had to go to the train station and buy another pass and actually it cost half the price

Did booked on the wrong date. Wanted for rescheduling. Didn't get rescheduled neither refund. Just paid for nothing. I would not recommend anyone to buy tickets from here.
Delos is a remarkable archeological site, and our guide was probably knowledgeable. The first we can affirm; we would encourage anyone curious to take the brief ferry ride and explore the island. Unfortunately, as for the second we can't really say. Our guide was small middle-aged women who spoke English with a pronounced accent in low volume. Given she was attempting to communicate to around forty people, often facing away from the crowd as she directed to point out various sites, and the wind blows pretty much all the time we were able to hear maybe one out of every five words. Either she should have used amplification of some kind or been working with two to ten people. After ten minutes we walked away and proceeded to view Delos on our own. This is a useless, aggravating and needless expense when you are able to gain nothing from it!

The arrived on time, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable.
Do not use! I went on three trips with them. They changed the whole itinerary for one, did not communicate it to us, and made it impossible for us to attend. They refused to honor their promised refund, partial refund, or even have the decency to call me — they are deceptive and totally fine robbing people when they travel internationally.

Booked Boston foliage tour 3 mths ago. Few days bef tour received email claiming my credit card failed. I tried paying wth 6 diff cards, all activated for overseas use, payments declined. Tour cant be rebooked as full so thy cannot help. After 2 days of chats with virtual agents, thy cancelld my tour even tho i informe thm i am travelling fr Singapore to Boston and really want to tak this tour. Very unreliable and poor service. Our tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum /Palatine was thorough and comprehensive. Elinor, our guide, was excellent in every way…knowledgeable, engaging, and respectful of individual concerns and needs. It was a delightful experience in a most historic setting.
As a supplier I found the support to apathetic and incompetent. 25% commission for doing nothing and offering no support when needed. My veteran owned and operated company was treated so poorly I left after only 3 weeks with no booking because they flat out refused to change the area of where my product was listed (in this case in the middle of the desert rather than, Things to do in Las Vegas as it should have been) This was not a issue for 5 my competitors who list on the same site as they were all listed in the correct category. When i requested the same I would have had more luck getting blood from a stone. 30 emails with nothing but lies and generic responses from customer agents who just don't care. (mario and damjan) who did absolutely nothing despite lying to me and saying it would be changed. If you are a customer or a supplier i would recommend using tripadvisor or Viator. I put this company on a level par with Groupon when it comes to supplier & customer support which is to say zero out of ten. I have booked two tours with GetYourGuide this year. The first was a tour of Caminito del Rey in the area of Malaga Spain. The tour was great with respect to our transportation by bus to the location. Unfortunately, the guide assigned to our tour didn't speak English very well and my Spanish is even worse. The venue was magnificent just wish we had a different guide.
The 2nd tour I purchased was for a tour of Kinderdijk, Euromast & Spido in the Netherlands and it was a disaster. GetYourGuide failed to deliver what I purchased. Needless to say I was very disappointed with Get Your Guide. I purchased the tour in June to visit Kinderdijk UNESCO location in late August. Booked a Flight to Amsterdam specifically to see these windmills. Meeting location advertised on the web and vouchers they emailed to me specified a meeting-pickup location in Amsterdam. We showed up at the advertised/published meeting location in Amsterdam early and there was no tour guide. After waiting for over 20 minutes past the scheduled pickup time, I called customer service was informed the pickup location was Rotterdam which is about 78KM away. As the exchange rate changed from the time of purchase to when Get Your Guide canceled my reservation (US dollars to Euros were weaker at time of purchase), I lost about $30 USD. Not a big amount, but it was their error why my reservation was canceled after I called to report the tour guide/bus failed to appear. Get Your Guide has refused to cover this loss or compensate me for their error. This is worse case fraudulent advertising or gross negligence on their part. Very poor customer service. So in summary I would be very cautious about purchasing tours from this company.

My first tour was cancelled for the day so I was very excited to be able to find another boat tour that was going out that day. Because of the strong wings, many tours had cancelled for the day. I called the tour operator about 3-4 times before the trip with no answer to confirm they were still going out on the boat. I got there 45 min early and could not find the boat. I walked around for maybe a mile back and forth asking strangers for help/directions to the address I was given (even though the taxi has dropped me off at the address that was given). I called and left a voicemail for the tour operator but nobody returned my call. I messaged get your guide a few hours later to get my money back, I was only given an explanation about their 24 hour cancel policy that didn't even apply to me. I was not trying to cancel. I genuinely wanted to go but could not find it and the tour operator could not return my call and get your guide showed no sympathy. I paid 180 euros for this so I am very unhappy and will continue to try to get my money back.

If you use Get Your Guide be sure to verify you are getting a bonafide experienced guide and not simply a driver. In our recent experience in Switzerland we paid over 900 euros and did not receive the value we expected.
This is more of a warning than a question. We had booked a day tour from Lisbon to Sintra for 14 people using GetYourGuide. We were at pick up for 8:20 along with another group, we went from bus to bus trying to locate ours. We started calling at 8:25 and they said we left at 8:25 and sent us an email at 8:29 saying we are leaving. They told us to take the train and we could pick up tour there.
We did this and were told our tickets for Sintra Castle didn't exist. We paid $1200 for this tour. The people answering the phone were not helpful and left 16 people stranded.

I made a booking for a tour through this company. Due to flight cancellations the booking was unable to be kept. I was able to re schedule the booking for a later date (a week away). Again due to flights this booking was unable to be kept. In accordance with the "cancel within 48 hours" and a full refund was due. The company has refused to provide a full refund as they are now saying that they were unaware that the booking was rescheduled (even though I have an email confirming this).
Not happy at all with this company and I suggest that you do not use them. Every email I have from them is a "no reply" email and it was really hard to find how to contact them on their website.

Absolutely shocking excuse of a company! Avoid at all costs if you want to deal with competent customer service. I strongly advise you to steer clear! We had the mispleasure of having to deal with Mark who was an utter disgrace! He advised us that we could reschedule or be refunded for a boat trip we had booked in London. Granted, we were running late and called ahead but he still encouraged us to go ahead as he had called the boat people and then as we were standing on the platform, informed us that the boat had just left! Didnt happen! To add further insult, he then offered us a refund or to reschedule and then changed his mind several times. Eventually as we were in the middle of rescheduling, he suddenly realised he couldn't rebook us and then despite 9 other people hearing him, denied ever offering to do so. After taking the rebooking details! The absolute epitome of incompetence and an appalling representation of the company. If this is who they've approved to front their business, it says it all. I literally recorded him (and informed him of such) offering a refund or rebook for him to then say he had never done such and then slipped up and said he had. He refused to allow me to speak with someone else or to make a complaint. Hes obviously used to scamming people as he wasnt concerned at all about having being caught in his lies. Disgraceful and I will be telling absolutely everyone who will listen to avoid this shoddy 'company' at all costs!
I booked day-trip from Fuerteventura to Lanzarote and I didn't receive any exact data regarding the trip, only that the trip will start at 10:30. A day later there was some email from GetYourGuide, with the title: "... Your Trip to Lanzarote 10:30 with a Ticket from the traveling company. A few days before the trip I received other three emails from GetYourGuide telling me I would have the trip to Lanzarote at 10:30. I was at 10:300 at the meeting point, and actually we should have come earlier. Why does GetYourGuide send information with the wrong time and expects that I will check all 5 E-Mails to find that one place where it is written with very small letters that I have to come earlier? As they don't want to return my money, I will never ever book again through GetYourGuide. When you book your trip through a local travel representative, you always get very good service and enough information regarding the trip and pick-up time and meeting point. I will never use GetYourGuide again. Extremely bad service.
We decided to take a huge splurge and paid over $300 for "fast track" avoid the line tickets for a tour to the top of the Eiffel Tower as we were trying to accomodate our daughter with autism (who has trouble in lines). The morning of the tour, we were on track to meet our guide but the metro we were riding stopped underground between two stations for almost thirty minutes. We were unable to get off the metro. We started texting with GetYourGuide as soon as it became clear we might be later than "arrive 15 minutes early." They were on constant communication by text with us, "helping us" by supposedly communicating with our tour guide to let them know our party of five would be a little late. We arrived but could not find our tour guide in the designated spot. No one had seen them or the tour group. We tried to rebook but were told no. We decided to wait in the line and eventually made it to the top of the tower (and thanks to all who were nearby and were patient with my daughter!). Despite being there for a couple hours, we never saw our guide or anyone with GetYourGuide labeling. We were confident that the company would refund our fare since it was out of our control, we were prompt in our communication, and we never saw the guide. I was SO WRONG! Despite multiple phone calls and attempts with their customer service via their WhatsApp chat and the "contact us" on their website, they have continued to kick me down the road, saying things like, "information about a refund will get to your email within a couple days" or "I will talk to a supervisor about this." But despite multiple attempts, I have no refund. I did some research to see if this is a scam of a company that just takes people's money and never provides a tour, but it does seem as though they are a legitimate company... they just have abysmal customer service and no compassion.

My husband's back went out and we needed to cancel our trip to Antelope Canyon 2 weeks before our reservation. They told me I could not cancel because it was an Admission ticket with my name on it and it could not be resold. What a crock of crap. I will never use them again.

Get Your Guide cancelled this tour via email, which I booked 2 months ago, the day before our flight to Rome, citing "Colosso cancelled our slot for this tour" … I immediately rebooked the same tour on a different day and moved our Cooking Class booked through With Locals (HIGHLY recommend!)…then, at 11:30 pm the night before the rescheduled tour GYG cancelled AGAIN (via email) and said it was because of a "political event" at the Colosseum. Which is total BS, because we booked a Colosseum Arena and Ancient Rome tour for the same day and same time with a different company and I took photos of visitors touring the Colosseum underground, where no political event was taking place. Dishonesty rates a zero with me, we travel frequently and will never use this company or it's affiliates again. And rest assured, I am reporting this on every review site if for no other reason than to save someone else the stress of trying to book a popular tour while on their trip.
