I've been an Orchard customer since 2018, having used them to trade in and buy a couple of iPhones. They give good value for the money. According to the website iphoneincanada.ca/news/, a new iPhone 11 Pro 512 GB costs$1859 before taxes. I bought a used iPhone 11 Pro in near mint condition from Orchard for $1289 before tax. With tax, a tempered screen protector, and Orchard's 1-year Premium Care Warranty the phone came to $1473. 52, that's still a saving of more than 20%. At the same time, I traded in my old refurbished iPhone 6128GB to Orchard, and eventually got $131.00 for it. And so, Orchard allows me to recycle my old technology and get a newish phone. First, I went on the Orchard site, selected and paid for my new(ish) phone, and then I went back onto the site, clicked on the "sell" button, and followed the easy directions for selling my old phone. I filled out a form describing the condition of the iPhone I was selling. I selected "very good" as the condition for the phone I was selling, and then entered my details. I got an immediate email reply along with an address label. A week or so after I'd sent in my old phone, I got an email from Orchard telling me that the condition of my used phone had been upgraded from "very good" to "like new." This meant that they'd give me more money once my old phone sold. A month or so after my ad was posted, the old phone was sold, and I got $131 transferred into my account. And as for the newish 11 Pro phone that I bought, I'm very happy with it. Great phone, great customer service, and great value!

I bought 2 I Phones from Orchard. The I Phone 7 started to act up after the ios 14.4 update. I had no service on cellular network part. I tried many different ways to sort this out without success. When I looked up the problem I found that the model I purchased for myself had an issue with the cellular part of the phone. It is a hardware problem with a defect in the circuit board. When I called Orchard about this they said sorry but your out of warranty and we will give you a credit of 100.00 toward a new phone if you return the old one. If this is a known defect why would they sell it to me in the first place. $322 for 5 months use of cell phone is a bit expensive.

I've purchased two iPhones in the past from Orchard. But this was my first time selling through their service. It could not have been easier. They sent me all the shipping materials I needed, I sent them my phone and four weeks later (on the exact date they promised), the money was deposited into my bank account.

Sure, I might have been able to get a slightly higher price by placing my own online ad, fielding offers and then meeting strangers in a parking lot for the handoff. But I would never buy a used phone from someone I didn't know, so why would I sell one that way?

Just sold my 'old' phone to Orchard for the second time, and also for the second time, ended up receiving more money than had been quoted. Sure, I take care of my phones, but that doesn't take away from the level of honesty Orchard exhibits by paying out additional funds, when warranted. It's also a super easy process when selling a phone - they will provide all the materials as well as pay for the shipping. You really can't go wrong using their service.

The best part about Orchard is their customer service, they are very easy to reach and it is easy to navigate their site. I'm very pro-secondhand-buying, but this was a huge mistake. I bought a phone from Orchard just over a year ago, they have a 1 month return policy and at about 6 weeks the battery on my phone started to die. At this point, 1 year into having a phone and using it quite lightly, my phone can't stay on for more than a half hour, and dies at 70% battery. I can send it back to orchard for a battery replacement (which I would have to pay for) but this would mean weeks without my phone (impossible with work) and I don't want to sink more money into this. Extremely disappointed.

Currently own a galaxy S10 but haven't been impressed with Android auto for the past couple months so I decided to buy a cheap iPhone for the use of apple carplay. Decided to use Orchard as their prices were about the same as local Craigslist prices but without the hassle of going out and meeting a stranger to buy a phone. Ended up getting an iPhone 7 for $220. Took about a week to get the phone and have been totally impressed with the whole process. The phone arrived in exactly the same condition as advertised. The battery health is at 99%, that in itself is pretty remarkable for an older iPhone. I have zero complaints and will recommend this company to all my friends and family.

I've been purchasing used phones from them for awhile. Inititally it was great for my first 3 phones (circa 2016-2018), but lately I've been having a pretty crappy experience with them.

First they send me a phone with a scratch on it (marked 'Good') but later when I sell this phone back to them, they charge me for a screen repair and tell me they can't sell the phone in this condition (what?!).

Secondly, when I called them back within 30 days (they have a "90-day warranty" and on their site it says you don't have to give any reason whatsoever for a return) they not only asked me why, but tried to make me feel bad for asking for a refund. The customer service is just horrible.

Third, they have an automatic system set in place and will happily deduct from the original quote if your device gets in late through no fault of your own, for example if it takes Canada Post a month to get their shipping label to you (due to COVID delivery times), you're screwed.

Orchard is a fantastic and honest company. I had a number of phones that needed to be sold - they were just collecting dust - but I was worried about selling them myself and being responsible for them if they didn't work. Orchard took care of me! They were very straight forward and open about how much my phones were worth and why, and when it came time for payment, the money was eTransferred right on time! I am also particularly thankful to Orchard, as they helped me get a little extra cash when I needed it because of the COVID19 pandemic. So amazing!

This is the third or fourth time I have used Orchard to get some money for my old phones. Their online sign up process is quick, easy and you know the "value" of your phone right away. They send you the prepaid box for your old phones, no concerns whatsoever. As in past, Orchard actually gave me more money for my old phone than originally expected as my phones were in better condition than expected. Money was transferred to me on time, via email Interac. Thank you (again) Orchard!

I bought my 6s phone from them in September. The phone arrived promptly and looked new. I noticed immediately, that the phone did not seem to hold a charge. I contacted Orchard about the issue a week before my 30 day guarantee expired. Orchard got back to me immediately, but I didn't get back to them until AFTER my warranty had expired. Not only did they quickly, relentlessly, (I kept dropping the ball on return emails), and efficiently resolve my problem; they did not use my extended warranty. I am most impressed with this company, their product, their service and their staff.

I sold my old iPhone to Orchard after upgrading a new iPhone. I didn't want to sell it on sites such as kijiii or eBay since those sites got so sketch! I found Orchard online and saw really great reviews on Google. Therefore I just gave it a shot and I didn't regret it. Great customer service! They increased the sale price of my old phone after they found my phone was in a better condition than expected. I will go to them again if I ever sell my phone again.

Orchard is a big NO-NO if you are a PROFESSIONAL of any sort, and require a reliable device. Two devices I purchased had been Frankensteined together from spare parts, rather hopefully, but more to the point rather inexpertly, as it happened twice. I work hard for my clients and I expect to receive at least a bare minimum of service when I'm in a market. Orchard's customer service is what you'd expect from an unmanaged team. I found the staff simultaneously introverted and irritated having to deal with a live person. Doubly so when I started asking questions about the phone I was interested in. DON'T bring your elderly mother, they won't offer her a seat, and they may sulk and sigh at you (as they did at me), apparently for bringing an alien being into such a hip establishment. This company put me off both alternate cell phone markets and collaborative work spaces. They had every opportunity to deal professionally, plenty of motive to do so, but the joint just comes off as another "I'm hanging out in my friend's basement" sort of operation.

After completing the purchase of an iPhone 8 from Orchard, which went very quickly and smoothly, I decided to sell my old iPhone 6s. The estimated price given by Orchard, before confirmation of the phone's condition, was better than my service provider. So I decided to sell my old phone to Orchard and had it unlocked and wiped clean at no cost. Orchard also guided me through the packing, mailing and within a couple of days of them recieving my phone, I was told the full amount would be transferred to my bank account in a month. Best part, I got even more than the initial estimate!
