Took a long time on the phone to book a room for a couple of nights for two separate dates. About 40 mins! The lady went over the cancellation guideline two times for each individual booking!

I asked your reservation person 5+ times if Id actually contacted The Fess Parker Hotel and she responded YES each time which was UNTRUE. She also gave me the Hotel address as where she was located, also fraudulent information. I spent a very frustrating 30 min with a person who continuously lied about her association to the Hotel AND when I called the Hotel to verify my reservation they didnt even have the correct information for names or rooms. I had to spend another 25 minutes covering the same information. Today I will resume the search since we thought the delay could be due to your fraudulent prepayment information as a hotel policy. The actual Hotel staff person & I thought I should report your organization but discovered that Id have to reissue my credit card due to fraud accusation if I pursue your company.
This hotel was extremely run down. There were gaps in the doors. We stayed in two different rooms because the first one had no heat and we couldn't get the office to help us. The second one was missing the fridge. So disgusting.
The agent was very knowledgeable about the the location of the rooms and the city. We needed a couple of rooms with different descriptions and he made sure that I understood the pricing along with with the taxes. He was pleasant and was not in hurry like so agents are. Altogether a positive experience.
Well, staff was friendly, but yelled over from the couch while playing guitar if we would like to check in. We asked for extra pillows and apparently there was only one extra in the entire hotel. The satellite TV was not in sync to the remote and the sauna is nonworking. Beds are like hard trampolines and and the decore is from the 70's with wallpaper pealing off the wall. I would not visit this establishment again unless they had a 49.00 special. Lol The Price if the room quoted to us with one queen bed was $240.00 per night. Happy vacationing!
Thank goodness I called to confirm, getaroom booked the wrong dates for my hotel. Great price but what good is it if the reservation is wrong?!
Price was better than everyone else but insure about using as I had never heard of them. Decided to go ahead and book. After over 5 minutes and still processing I called help line. They said room was gone and booked me different room. Got confirmation number and told cost. All done new I thought. Then got email confirming original booking. Very confused.
Went on line and found a great room totally refundable with very little effort and they immediate sent a confirmation number
I only book on line every couple years, and forget between each use. Process with this company was clear, easy, and fast.
Had Chris for the agent. We ran into trouble with our credit card ( too much traveling, too many places so our company flagged the card). Chris handled the dilemma nicely and gave me his personal number to call after speaking to the credit card company. He handled everything professionally( multiple rooms, multiple dates) and we have our reservations and are xtremely happy. Thanks Chris!
I asked to change the length of my reservation, and they wanted to charge me $200. Not cancel, but change. I have no use for theivery or Idiocracy.
The representative I worked with, Tierra, was very helpful and well-informed. She went above and beyond to accommodate us. Good people skills always a pleasure to meet someone like that.

You cannot cancel the reservation if you have a change of plans or miss a flight, etc. I tried calling and got no response. Even left voicemails and still nothing...
I booked a room that was sold out on all the other hotel vendor websites and the hotel website itself. The reservations process was very easy, but the receipt actually looks a little too brief, leaving me with a slight feeling of mistrust. I just hope I have a room when i actually get to Scotland in 3 months. I have emailed the hotel to get a confirmation from them directly -so far, no response yet. Humm..
An all inclusive resort for 2 at 77 dollars a piece? IT seems almost too good to be true... I hope its not!
First time user. Was easy to book, I got very cheap compare to other sites, $400 cheaper for 2 days from other sites.
Somehow it was booked wrong the first time - to many days. I had a little trouble understanding the representative when I had to change the dates.
GetARoom offers the best hotel rates out there, hands down! I highly recommend their service! This is my second time booking with them and they are my go to booking service from now on.
Answer: They are not ethical. For me, they used a website that appeared to be the actual hotel website, did not identify themselves when they should have, and did not mention booking fees while they charged a 30 percent booking fee for a room that was its normal price. They were supposed to cancel charges on my credit card and did not. STAY AWAY!
Answer: They are a site attached to Trip Advisor---- if you see them on screen while trying to book a room-- hit cancel. I'm out over $150 because of their fraudulent cancellation policy.
Answer: Thought I was booking on the actual hotel sight but was deceived in as much as it was Getaroom. Talked to someone else also staying at this hotel at the same for about a third less. Called them right back and had already charged my card and it would be up to 3 weeks to refund. That's about what it took but did get refund. Then checked reviews and no one had anything good to say about getaroom. Go straight to hotel sight of one you know and trust or stick with something like Travelocity.
Answer: I'm definitely in. There's something very deceptive, if not illegal, when you start off on a hotel's website and when you click Make a Reservation, it somehow transfers you to the GetARoom site without your knowledge. I had no idea this was done until I received their email confirmation. I'm thinking of contacting my state's Consumer Protection Div. Of the AG's Office to file a complaint when I get back from vacation.

Answer: Wow. This is one bad company. Made a reservation and then needed to cancel. They gave cancel date all along. I called to cancel on that date and was told that date was only for 1 minute of date they told me. I was supposed to forfeit one night's cost. Luckily I made reservation on AMEX and they'll tell this fraud company to get lost. Moral of the story: make reservations through hotel.
