I usually order or shop at garage for my daughters because it's one of their fav stores... but I ordered a bunch of clothes online because of everything going on and didn't receive one of the items even though it says delivered! Emailed them and still waiting for a response it's been over two weeks!
Okay so i fell in love with garages clothing awhile ago, it's 100% my style, but then i ordered a bikini online... top had no padding which is fine whatever i don't care. But the bikini bottom had a mysterious and extremely gross stain which led me to believe it had been previously used and NOT cleaned. Disgusting.
I placed an order for some bralettes about 3 weeks ago. I received the email that my order had been placed with my order number. About a week later I still hadn't received an email that it had been shipped. I checked my credit card and it hadn't been charged yet. I sent an email to them asking if something went wrong and if I should place the order again. I got an automated reply, followed by an email that my package had shipped with a tracking number and my credit card charged. Well for 2 weeks this package has been sitting in a store/warehouse somewhere with the shipping label created. I understand with Covid there will be some delays but this is ridiculous. Since many of their stores are located in malls (which are not open yet) there is no one at the store to get these packages out and if they have a warehouse clearly nobody is working. I am not sure why they would continue to take orders and peoples money. Maybe just say that due to Covid we can not process online orders. Pretty simple. After reading some of these reviews I'm really bummed. I don't think I'll ever get my package. This is my first time ordering from Garage and the last.
They have a ridiculous policy that clothes purchased with a gift card can not be returned. Employees are unenthusiastic. I placed an order online and one of the items I ordered was out of stock and they sent me a gift card for the item but the amount on the gift card was unequal to the item amount. It took weeks to ship, and customer servie was hard to get a hold of and unhelpful. The clothes are extremly overpriced and bad material. I have once purchesed an article of clothing from here and did not try it on- when I got home it was ripped and they refused to let me return until I asked to speak to the manager. I hate shoping here but it seems that my gift cards unfortunetely never run out.
If you noticed Garage recent rebranding (they improved their marketing), you also noticed the significant increase of their price range. I was curious to see how would the quality match the general price increase. I can give it to you straight, the quality is still mediocre: I bought a tiny crop top for 26$ that I found very cute, I wore it for a total of 5 times (washed it 5 times, gentle cycle, cold water) and I can already see holes in the fabric, along the rib-cage line (not under the armpits). Please don't get lured by their new marketing. The quality is still way below expectations.
My clothing arrived delayed and damaged. The package was torn and the clothing smeared.
If it wasn't such a hassle to ship I would definitely return my damaged package. Don't order now during covid 19. They can't handle it and you'll just lose money
I've loved this store for a long time now and I have had mainly positive experiences with their clothing and services. In store they're usually super enthusiastic and ready to help you if you ask and often times they'll give you advice or offer support before you even go to them! I think their stores have amazing layouts and mostly their products are organized really well. One thing that I would say is in my experience I often have less success with garage bottoms(jeans, shorts and skirts) as opposed to their tops which I absolutely love and am always confident to purchase online. In the photo below I'm wearing a tank top I just bought from their online store, it's a size M and I love it!
I placed this order over a month ago and never received the order. They sent me the tracking details but it's label is still being created apparently. The customer service won't respond back to me either so who knows where it is or if they'll even give me a refund. The shipping is not reliability the customer service is unresponsive and are not communicative or helpful at all.
I ordered my niece jean shorts and two tank tops, for her birthday. They were to be delivered in Kingston.
They delivered a very large pair of mom Jess instead.
I have called and left a message to customer service and sent a message.
They did get back and with no apology asked for a photo and sku number of what was sent and what I ordered. I got back right away to them. It's been over a week now and I have no more information.
Waiting to hear when they will send the correct items?

I understand delays with Covid 19 but when they make the error they should at least get back to me.
Save yourself and don't order online - their site crashes and they charge your credit card if your order didn't go through. It takes weeks to finally come in contact with customer service and they do nothing to help.
I've always loved shopping in store at garage. However, I am so appalled and turned away by my recent experience, I don't think I'll ever be back. The website and the app are AWFUL. Orders would not go through for me, and even a few charges made on my card which had no legit order placed. Poor customer service system. Extremely disappointed.
I always love garage's they always impress me with how nice they fit, trendy, and comfy. For sure my favourite clothing store. Would 100% recommend
I am appalled with how the staff treats you. I don't really fault them as they are falling corporate policy. But they don't allow two people in the dressing room. My daughter was trying on jeans and I wanted to sit in there. Clerk told me I couldn't because they need to manage the fitting rooms tightly to help with inventory loss. I am a older mom with work out clothes one and no purse (just wallet). I then asked to wait and sit in two other areas in dressing room area. Both requests declined. I do not appreciate being treated as a criminal. I wish my daughter didn't like the clothes there. I do not want to support them. So many other teen focused stores that do not have those ridiculous rules.
Horrible lady at cashier she yells at children poor attitude hates to work but still works there everyone els was wonderful with helping it was nice to see that some of them are great happy people
I ordered a shirt, usually everything goes smoothly. This time was a completely different story, my shirt came in and it was clearly worn. There was foundation stains on it. I sent them an email about it earlier this week and still no reply.

Today 1/16 my credit card was charged and email sent confirming charge! CLOTHING never received

I purchase 140 dollars worth of stuff on Black Friday of 2018 online. Never received the package. I called multiple numbers, left messages, and never received a call back from garage. I also called UPS and made a claim. Took a whole month which made no sense, and they still weren't able to get ahold of someone from garage. Then I went through my bank and had my bank refund the money while they investigated the matter. Some how my bank was able to get in contact and took the money back from my account. Garage claimed I received my package. Never received, never worned, never washed, nor reused any item from that purchased made from that day.

Placed an order on Dec 11th ahead of the Dec 15th deadline for delivery to my province. Today is the 20th still not processed. Called to inquire about it, told a manager will get back to me in 1 - 2 business days... Dude that will be Christmas Eve. How's it getting here even if it's processed by then? Santa! Ridiculous customer service quality. Never again.
Ordered a shirt. Returned the shirt (very small, poor quality and not at all like on-line image.) Did not receive refund. After waiting for a refund for more than three weeks after company received the return (according to USPS tracking info), I emailed customer service. A week later, no response from customer service but I did get a computer-generated email saying my return was received and money was credited back to my credit card. It's now 5 days later and no credit has been made to my credit card. Customer service is non-existent.
ON Sunday I purchased a $50 pair of pants and a $19 shirt for my daughter. Upon returning home i took the items out of the bag for my daughter to try on and the shirt was missing the tag. Neither items fit my daudhter. The next Saturday (I work all week). I went to ruturn the items and they would not refund the $19 shirt without the tag. I they may have considdered it if it would have been the next day, but it had been 6 days. I will never shop there sgain!
Answer: It's similar to American Eagle, but it's a bit cheaper depending on what you're looking at. The jeans from Garage are cheaper but equal quality to American Eagle, but American Eagle has more options. The shirts from Garage are super soft and amazing material. Garage is probably my favourite store.
Answer: Totally legit! I've never been from there scammed before. Clothing is great quality.
