If I could give a lower star I would

I used to LOVE garage & would be a regular very often. My clothes are 95% garage. Over the years the prices have gotten higher, yet the quality more $#*!tier.
Not to mention the whole vibe from 90% of any employee I ever came across, they are unhelpful and I dont know why but always moody towards me (I am never unkind to any retail person) but I always felt judged going in there (talk about resting $#*! face syndrome, must be a qualification on the resume).
Today, my experience with garage/dynamite clothing is the absolute last. I returned a pair of leggings I got online with a giftcard I had. I still haven't received it and it's been a month. I went in store 2x talked to someone on the phone and sent emails with no actually definitive response. It was a GIFT CARD how hard is it to just give a store credit right away?! What a joke company.

Worst Customer Service
December 19, 2022

You can't get anyone on the phone and the chat feature is useless. I received the wrong item and they did not credit me for $10 shipping I paid and I had to reorder the item and repay shipping when it was their fault. Will never order from here again.

Terrible costumer service
November 26, 2022

Me and my friend entered garage today (black friday) with the intent of purchasing something. It was crowed, but we had no issue finding what we needed, it was when we encountered the employees when we had an issue. There was a box in white dirty tape on the floor that said in very small words "stand behind the box" we both did not notice it, someone walked past and they said excuse us as they walked by after that we moved back but the employee said loudly "step behind the box" in a rude tone we moved back and just behind the line because we didn't notice at first, she rolled her eyes and whispered something to her coworker before yelling at us to get behind the box, we finally realized and we were both very frightened, we are both visibly children. Then to make matters worse when we got called up the lady was very rude, my friend asked politely what the return policy was and the cashier extremely worldly just said january 7th, didn't say anything like "thank you, have a nice day" or anything like that, me and my friend both said thank you but she continued to be rude. I loved garage but i am definitely not going back again.

I do think that Garage is a great brand, but there are some major things that concern me. The prices are extremely high, even though their clothes are usually really good material. This brand also takes things from other stores to get inspired. I think this is a good idea, but this can lead to copyright which I do believe they've gotten in trouble for before. I also go through a big struggle trying to buy something because they tell me to click on fifty things on the app just to find a coupon. The coupons are really helpful though, because of how overpriced they are. Other than this, the staff are usually very helpful and sweet. I don't usually have a problem with the workers, and I'm not picky about that. The store is usually busy, and the lines are long because the people at the registers take forever to ring us up. Great store, great clothes, but they should fix these things.

The quality is so cheap and nothing fit. Shein quality. Everything fit way too big and is way overpriced for what you are getting. Save your money and shop at princess polly or somewhere else.

Cargo pants

Nous avons acheté en septembre 2021 des pantalons cargo gris et pour notre grande surprise il se sont déchirés sur le côté du zipp( malgré que nous avons vraiment pris soin de les laver à l'eau froide et ne jamais mais jamais les sécher dans la sécheuse). En moyenne il ont été porté 16 fois avant que ça déchire... le prix payé à 100%. Très très déçu de la qualité de "Garage ". Il ne mérite pas d'étoiles et jamais plus d'achat chez Garage. C' est just drôle mais le message ne passe pas sans étoile malgré qu 'il n'en mérite pas

Great experience

I went to this store to shop with my daughter, as soon as I walked in everyone was so welcoming, the girls who worked there were all very helpful with helping my daughter find some outfits, she was so happy when she walked out and felt so stylish! I will definitely be returning to this store in the Menlo Park mall in Edison nj

HORRENDOUS change room "assistant", loitering outside of my change room, telling me I'm "old" (I'm a trendy 30 year old". I didn't finish trying on my items as she literally drove me out of the store. Horrible horrible horrible.

I purchased $268 worth of clothes that got lost at their shipping warehouse. (Intercom)
No one would issue a refund even after a MONTH of calls and emails. They're always "looking into it and will get back to me ". Not one person has. Finally I got a lady named Bess - who legit understood the problem. Customer service there is HORRIBLE (except Bess) Garage clothes is nice but I will neverrrrrrrr order online from them again. Ridiculous service. The one star I gave is for Bess - otherwise I'd rate them zero. And reading other reviews. - this seems to be a common thing with them.

I have been buying items from this store for the past year. Their clothes are trendy and they all go well together. It's obvious they are over priced though and you can get these items at your local walmart, or if you are lucky, secondhand clothing store. I liked buying items there because I don't think I have the best fashion sense and I like that all of thier clothing goes together. That is a plus.

The reason why i am writing this review is that thier customer service is terrible. Please listen to the bad reviews, because i didn't. I have spent thousands of dollars at their store. I recently had a bad experience in not recieving my package. I contacted them, thinking they would help me. Especially since i have supported them through the pandemic. They chose to say that it was my problem and they had no intention of helping me. Mind you all of the other companies have refunded me or sent me new product when this has happened. I only spent sixty dollars this time(rather than my usual 300.00) so it's not that big of a deal to refund me or resend a package.

This company has terrible customer service and is not loyal to the customers who pay them. Furthermore thier clothes are easily found at any big retailer, for half the price of what they are selling.

After my treatment, its not worth the headache.

I saw thier store in person in L. A. The store made me feel embarassed to walk around. This company is going to fail with the bad customer service they have.

My geuss is that this company is already failing though, or they would refund small orders like this. KARMA is real.

I ordered a pair of pajamas & a gift card online. I received the pajamas but the gift card never arrived. I called customer service to see if they could issue a new gift card & they told me I had to wait 3 days before they could pull up my account to help me. I called back 3 days later and they told me they would need to contact the gift card department & asked if I could call back in 3 more days. I waited another 3 days & called back again. This time they said unfortunately they could not send me a new gift card or issue a refund. The best they could offer was an electronic email that they would send to my email address. I did not want this because I was giving the card as a gift and I wanted the person to have an actual card. They refused to help me at all. I finally contacted PayPal and filed a dispute. They sided in my favor and issued a refund. This entire process took nearly a month to work out. What a mess!

We have purchased Garage jeans on September 9th, 2021.
Today is November 9th and they are in garbage as totally worn out.
Kinda pricey for less than 2 months use.
Garage, probably doesn't know the Denim's definition as "sturdy cotton warp-faced textile". Not sturdy at all.
Never again.

Bad customer service

Very bad customer service at Bridgewater NJ store. Please don't go there to shop because they will do exchange to your purchase that you will never get your refund back the same way as you paid. They will issue a stores gift cards towards your purchases.The biggest ripoff I ever seen at the stores. They are trying to do exchange and then if your receipt is exchange then you are not eligible anymore for your refund only stores credit. BIGGEST RIPOFF. Stay away from them.

Non existent customer service at the Metrotown location. They say they'll give you a full refund and make you not try on the item in the store and when you bring it back they claim that it's been used and that they can only give you an exchange or store credit. Why give store credit or exchange if you actually believe the item has been used? Sounds like they just don't want to give you your money back. That's a scam!

The website crashed so I had to redo the order. Didn't notice that the quantity of the order has not reset so I ended up ordering
2 instead of 1. I was not able to cancel the order even though it had not shipped. I called and still couldn't revise the order.

I've shopped at garage stores, and had no problem with them. I'd say that their clothes are a little pricy for the quality, however most stores are like that. Ordering online is a nightmare. I order 3 shirts, and two days after I got an email that my order was shipped. When I tracked my package it only said the shipping label was created, and it had never actually shipped for over a week. I called costumer service, and told them that they never sent UPS my package. They had me wait a few more days to see if it would ship. It didn't, so I called again saying the same thing and they said they'd contact the warehouse. I later get an email saying my order was canceled and shipped back to the warehouse since I didn't pick my order up within 12 days of it being sent to a garage store. Which made no sense since I had the clothes sent to my house. I called again and costumer service said they didn't know why I got that email, but my order was refunded. I really wanted those clothes so I tried ordering online again. This time my order arrived in 3 days. I'd say ordering online and actually getting what you ordered is like Russian roulette for this store. Also, if you ever see that your order has shipped but only the shipping label was created. That means they never sent it to the shipping company, don't let them try to say it's the shipping companies fault it's theirs.

I ordered 3 pairs of jeans that originally was less than $100 but once I checked out and submitted my order the app duplicated the same pair of Jeans 3 times so I ended up paying almost $200. The package was suppose to arrive April 13th but said it was delayed ever since and now the tracking has EXPIRED and still has not showed up. This place is a f**king SCAM. They literally stole my money. You're not able to fix or cancel your order which is a huge red flag in the first place. DO NOT BUY FROM GARAGE CLOTHING. I would rate it 0 stars if I could!
