At first, I was very skeptical of this website. I checked the reviews on this website and the last ones were very negative.

Nonetheless I decided to to purchase a key.

After payment, I received my order confirmation. However, it said that the purchase was on hold.

I immediately contacted the customer support via ticket (not live chat). I received an answer in less than 30 minutes stating I had to show the card I used with gamivo.com on a piece of paper. Please take note that they do let you blur out sensitive information as I blurred out my card number except for the last 4 digits. After sending the image, it only took 5 minutes for them to answer and confirm my purchase.

On my part, the key worked fine. I might update this review if it gets revoked.

There is one thing that worries me. Some people had to send an image of their ID to gamivo for security reasons. You should never give a company your ID online. If this happens, ask for a refund or contest your transaction with your bank.

One more yellow flag for me is that the resellers are trusted, but have « too good to be true » reviews. So your mileage may vary. I will not post the reseller I used as I want to confirm that my key is not rejected.

Now, about « Gamivo smart ». If you intend to buy a lot from them, it is a good deal. I have seen a lot of people complaining that they payed without knowing. On my part, when choosing your payment method, you can deactivate the smart feature, but beware that every time you change the payment method, the smart feature reactivates (you can deactivate it again no problem.)

Finally, my experience with them has been weird, but the key the reseller gave me worked perfectly. Their way of selling their SMART feature is a little weird.

In the end, when you use gamivo or any key reseller, pay extra attention to not pay extra semi-hidden fees.

They will do everything in their power to charge you random ammount for their subscription service, which at times can be hard to cancel. For two times they did this, even though i carefully removed the option, which they almost hide so u dont notice, to pay for their trash subscription service.

Completamente insoddisfatto. Ho acquistato delle licenze e non mi hanno fornito la fattura, il che rende le licenze non utilizzabili a uso business. Non mi hanno proposto il rimborso totale oppure la sostituzione della licenza. Dopo 3 mesi di ticket aperto (oltretutto chiuso automaticamente per 3 volte) mi hanno proposto il rimborso solo dell'iva. Sconsigliato.

When you purchase something they auto-check a subscription for you called Gamivo SMART. And if you are like me these low payments go under the radar for over 4 months. Disgusting greedy practice. Although I was initially satisfied with the purchases, I will never buy from them ever again as I find this very immoral.

I bought a game for 1 dollar. I immediately received an invalid key (had been activated by someone else). I asked for a refund and a nightmare followed.

They demanded screenshots that proved the key was already activated., which I provided (screenshot of activation process plus all my steam licences). But that wasn't good enough, they wanted screemshots that showed time and date. Gave it to them, but then they decided these weren't good enough either, and demanded that I contact steam support to get a confirmation from them about the time and date.

At this point it was clear that they werent going to refund me no matter what I did. And this was a MEASLY 1 dollar game were talking about. That I payed for but never got to work because they had sold the same key to several persons.

I have shopped at gamivo with success before, but this experience certainly scared me away from ever buying there again. What if it were a 50 dollar game? If they refuse to refund 1 dollar, they most certainly would be even more difficult about refunding 50 dollars if the key didn't work.

Totally a scam, don't purchase from them, especially the product key for the Microsoft products, no proper download link for the product, used/fake key get sold. Support is useless to keep repeat the script without resolving issues and refuse the refund, total rip off.

I don't see anything wrong with the business itself as I received the codes which I paid for. However, there was is a problem. When going to checkout, they automatically make you use the smart price which costs an extra 2 dollars. This wouldn't be a big problem as I could simply get a refund, right? No, they would not offer me a refund for it as they are not able to refund smart purchases. When I ask why they simply say because it is in the T&C which I was not greeted with and neither did I have to accept it.

After purchasing products from Gamivo online and paying for the order via PayPal, I received an email stating I had to send a copy of my drivers license with handwritten note to verify who I was. This is amazing given I was an existing customer. While uncomfortable sending this info over the internet, I scanned the docs in PDF and was told they don't accept PDF's. At this point it was clear there is some fraud happening and i am working on having my funds refunded via PayPal.

When you buy a game for the first time you are automatically signing up to pay a monthly Gamivo SMART subscription fee which will automatically be taken from your payment account. The checkout process is not transparent - it is not at all obvious that you agreeing to pay a monthly subscription fee.

Terrible customer service, they do not return the money to your bank account, they only give copied and pasted answers, they do not compensate you for wasting time or having scam sellers, they are also rude to attend, far from the worst store, I recommend never buying here, besides the coupons always fail.

They auto enroll you in a "smart" service, It will hit your account for around $3.50/mo. Until you notice.

I came across this website when I was looking for a discounted Hitman 2 DLC pack. This site listed the DLC pack with two pricing options, the cheaper one came with a so-called SMART monthly subscription, which charges people a little over 3 dollars per month. I noticed it and I very deliberately chose the more expensive version because I knew I didn't want a monthly subscription. But I was somehow hooked up with that monthly subscription at the verlast step of my payment anyways, even though they also charged me the more expensive price tag at the same time. I was charged with the first month's subscription immediately, which led me to going into my account and cancelled my subscription instantly. Then a month later, the same fee popped up in my bill again, so I went in to my account again, and there it was, the subscription was still standing. I connected with a live chat agent, who told me that after my first attempt to cancel the subscription, an email was sent to my mailbox which would require me to double confirm the cancellation, but on the website when I cancelled it, there was no such prompt or what so ever, I was told right there that my subscription had already been cancelled. I demanded my second month subscription, and I was then immediately kicked out of the live chat.

Purchased World Of Warcraft Shadowlands key, got on battle net, key worked just fine. No issues with this site.

Key worked. Just beware they sign you up to a subscription. They took £2 per month twice before I noticed. Would not refund even though I didn't use it. The original purchase was very vague on the fact I was signing up for something regular. It just said "smart price". If you look into what that means, it means you get a few pence off but sign up to a motnhly subscription. I even then aborted that transaction and purchased at the non smart price but somehow still ended up signed up to the subscription. The replies from customer service were quick but not helpful. I will buy elsewhere to avoid this again.

WARNING GAMIVO IS A SCAM SITE! One of GAMIVO's current scams concerns their "Smart" subscription, a useless un asked for subscription that automatically kicks in and bills your credit card monthly once you've gone through checkout for any purchase. BUYER BEWARE!

Code was ok, seller - 3rd party- was ok.

I bought 2 games already (in 2 years) 2nd time happened 2 months ago. After 1 month of the purchase they started to book monthly fee from my paypal account, without my agreement, without any confirmation. It is fraud and illegal.

Customer service was disrespectful and talking to me like I am a stupid ape who don't know what are they doing.

Please do not try to buy from them, these guys ask continuously for picture ID and credit card/debit info. I never received my steam gift card that I had ordered 3 days ago, for all I know these guys are fraud and steal identity because it never takes this long to make a transaction. They want me to take a picture of my ID at a different angle now even though they said it was good before. Don't trust these scum bag POS.

I bought a game on the same price as eneba.com had. Instead of that, i have allegedly subscribed to a subscription, and now they charged every month. The support say that it's imposible to take my money back now that i subscribed even thou, i never agreed to that

I signed up to their Smart subscription and cancelled my subscription once I realised they massively overinflate their prices once you get to the checkout. Only problem was they did not cancel my subscription and then charged me again the following month. When I complained they claimed that I did not cancel my subscription even though I had proof (I always screenshot a cancellation page). Do not use this company as their prices are not better than the competition even though at first glance it may seem so. Not better than CD Keys on any of their prices for comparison. Use at your own risk and document everything if you do as you will most likely have to complain to your bank thereafter
