Consumers beware!

This company decided to charge my debit card $13. I had never heard of this company before and had never seen their website before either. When I saw the charge on my bank account I contacted the scammer AND filed a fraud report with my bank.
Scammer company told me that months ago when I placed an order for a Land's End ladies top I had also checked the FreeShipping.com box to allow them to charge me. I never did any such thing. I almost always make purchases on Amazon and had never come across anything like this before.
I complained to the scammer company about this and they promised to refund my money. Well they never did but my bank did. My bank sent me a letter telling me they had taken care of it and that FreeShipping.com indeed is a scam.
Because my bank has a lot of security features to protect customers, my debit card was cancelled. However, I wasn't aware of this until I saw an email that said I had requested a new card. I hadn't. After discussing this horrible ordeal with my bank's customer service representative I was told that I had opted to receive text messages every time I purchased anything. If I was the one who made the purchase I wouldn't need to respond but if I didn't, I am supposed to respond with a "NO". I never received the message so of course I didn't respond and my bank proceeded to issue a new card. I haven't received it yet and changing debit cards has become a hassle for me.
So thanks to FreeShipping.com, I can't use the debit card I've had for many years and have to wait for the new one to arrive. I have no access to cash until then. My bank doesn't have a branch anywhere near me.
What a freaking hassle.

Please be very careful when you purchase anything online and look at your checking account often in case there is an odd transaction you don't recognize.

Thought it was related to Amazon, This only covers some stores. At.$10.00 or 12.00 a month, over $100.00 a year it greatly exceeds any individual shipping costs, especially since for purchases over $35.00~$50.00, stores usually provide shipping for free.

SCAM SCAM SCAM

You don't have to sign up to get sucked into this scam! Pay attention to purchased made through Macy's, that is where they got me and trying to get a response from them is near impossible! They have had multiple class action lawsuits for this! I am reporting them to the BBB! PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR PURCHASES AND THE FINE DETAILS!
UPDATE: Contacted the credit card company and they cancelled my card because they saw after cancelling a membership I never signed up for, freeshipping.com charged me another $15.00 and the credit card company agreed they were fraudulent charges!

I like FreeShipping.com, but you must stay involved. I've order several flower arrangements through their website and paid $14.99 for shipping. I was only reimbursed $10 each. You have to keep records and track progress. One can easily buy something and forget to follow up on rebates/cash back. I have purchased items, but they were never credited to my account even though I went through their website.

This is terrible! I NEVER EVER EVER signed up for this and was billed to my credit card for 3 months before I saw it! Think of sick ppl laying in hospital beds or disabled ppl who never use it & are being billed! SCAM AND FRAUD! SO SO WRONG. HOW THE HECK DID THEY GET MY CRED CARD INFO? They KNOW they are scamming because they refunded me right quick! BBB needs to investigate and shut them down! Attorney General? Idk. But this is massive fraud! I was in the middle of signing up when I saw they charge you a fee. There are plenty of places that do this and dont charge u anything! Or use your credit card for cash back. They wont be getting any of my money!

I thought this was a deal from an item I bought, didn't know it was a sep. Company, I got charged thirteen dollars and didn't even use this company. Monthly rip off
December 5, 2020

I just realized... by accident that my husband signed up mistakenly for a service he has never used once and have been paying 13.00 monthly for over a year. This company counts on elderly who are not savvy with on-line buying and then just pay their bills! No one would knowingly sign up for 13.00 monthly for a 16.00 purchase on 800.00 monthly social security! Despicable

The guy on the phone was nice but had no clue what the charge was. I didn't ever hear of this site before this. Its only $2 -$10 here and there. Bit I caught it in time to stop it.

Freeshipping.com is Fabulous, saves me money on my favorite stores when I shop throughout Freeshipping.com! They do let you know of your monthly fees before you personal plug in your credit card information. Looking@ these reviews tells me ALOT of people took advantage of a free rebate to turn around saying "they knew nothing about signing into a membership"... who hasn't heard of karma? Geezz! Any who. Scam and fraud
November 3, 2020

I never went to any site EVER about this company. I only order off ebay and amazon. Somehow supposedly they said I clicked on a pop up and they magically got my debit card info without even putting anything in! This place is a scam! They took 70 dollars out of my account before I caught on! I had to change my debit card. I told the company I was going to get them for fraud. The 70 dollars was put back in my account fast! Im reporting this company hard on better business bureau! I recommend everyone do the same to get them shut down! I was never sent anything about being in this program! Nothing!

Deceptive equals Fraud
October 20, 2020

I never made an account. I must have bought something off EBay and they got my info from Paypal. I have been charged monthly since March. I travel a lot so I use my card all over the states and abroad. So I missed the missed the charges. Anyway if Freeshipping responds, I am not confused about my "membership." I have no membership and have reported you for fraud.
