1/6/2023 Update:
The small technical issue on their website was resolved promptly by forward2me, they were very responsive on all platforms(their customer service form, and also on here, they read reviews and do care, apparently, unlike some other companies), and not only they 'made things right' with a small discount/symbolic gesture most companies offer if they messed up slightly, forward2me went absolutely above and beyond, and did way more than I expected. I would not go into details here, since every case is different I assume, but I think that if you're using forward2me, and some kind of issue arises, they will definitely be helpful and make things right, in a very generous manner. For reference, other competing companies will make your life as difficult as possible, should you need help or want to file a claim.
I can say is that they seem to really care about gaining new customers, but also about keeping them. At this point I have a lot of confidence in them, and I would recommend them over any other company I have used.
Although this was my first shipment with them, I have utmost confidence going forward, and I will keep using them for sure.
When I selected the combine, repack and ship option, it gave me a range for the shipping costs. I think it was approximately 120-140. After the packages were repacked, I was quoted a totally different price (approximately 175) and had only one option for the shipping. This is a classic bait and switch practice and is NOT the first time I have experienced this with F2M. Increasing the price by 25-45% is not acceptable and I am going to look into another shipping company. I am tired of paying more on the back end than was quoted in the beginning. This is completely unacceptable especially when you are holding my items hostage.
I was happy that the response was quick and the package was packed in the same state as it arrived without opening the cardboard box.

Sometimes takes a while to combine packages….
Forward2Me was better before. Nowadays it seems that there are to many users. Combine/repack takes long, getting an answer from customer service likewise.

Firstly I would like to apologise. I can see that your repack request slightly exceeded our 48 hour target and I can assure you this is something we aim to avoid.
December is a peak business season for us and due to the ongoing industrial action with Royal Mail we've seen large spikes in our workloads. The 48 hour limit highlighted on our website is normally the maximum amount of time needed to process a combine and repack, we usually complete these within 24 hours.

About as easy as it gets for forwarding mail. Definitely recommend after my first experience. Will plan to use in the future.
Things were not quite straightforward during Christmas time, however I received my package as ordered.
My recommendation is to avoid year's end shopping to make sure your package arrives on time.

There were a few issues with y parcel not showing up on my account but customer service was excellent and very quick. Once the parcel was in my account everything moved very quickly.
Easy to organize from it´s website. Every movement is noticed by email. In a very short time I got my package.
I love the experience and all is perfect except for the shipping cost. It is ridiculously expensive and unreasonable. Forward2Me must have a better pricing since it is a company that deals a lot with major couriers such as FedEx and DHL. Thus, Forward2Me must have a competitive advantage compared to other companies and to us individuals.

I can see that you shipped from our Tax Free warehouse in Guernsey-not from our mainland UK warehouse in Preston.
Our Tax Free warehouse address is located in the Channel Islands- with limited infrastructure, the shipping prices can be a little more expensive than when shipping from the mainland UK warehouse and there is only DHL Express service currently available to customers from this warehouse.
If the goods are low value it would be more cost effective to ship goods from our UK mainland address and use our combine and repack service to ensure that you obtain the maximum value for shipping.
However if the goods are higher value it is often more cost effective to save the retailer sales tax on the purchase price and pay the slightly higher rates for shipping from our Tax Free warehouse in Guernsey address.
We do offer 2 new budget shipping services from our UK warehouse which are are called forward2me Lite and forward2me Lite X.
Both of our Lite services are only available for 1 package with a weight of less than 2kg, overall dimensions of less than 90cm and a maximum value of between £50- £100 depending on which budget service you choose. Our combine and repack service is not available for the Lite or Lite X courier options. The objective of our 2 new budget Lite and Lite X services is to ensure we have more reliable low budget shipping options (tracked and untracked) to every country in the world for single packages at low weight that we can receive and that can be immediately shipped back out internationally without the need for a repack service.
I hope this helps explain the difference between our UK mainland and Guernsey addresses and the benefits our service offers.
