If I could give a 0 star, I would.
This company has shady business practices. They advertise one price and allow you to go through to 'seat selection' to which you can skip. After a few menus, they decide it's OK for them to up the price by DOUBLE the amount of what I had previously seen.
After calling into the call center to obviously cancel the ticket as it was marked up 2 times the amount that was confirmed, they decide that I was eligible to receive 50% off the cancellation fee (within 5 minutes of the issue above).
What a sham. The 50% off 75 dollar cancellation fee is how they make money.
Their numbers comes up if you google a number for Southwest. They completely mislead me to think I was dealing with Southwest directly. They charged me $280 to change a flight for my daughter and I when we were trying to get out of Florida before a major hurricane. They made me reply to the email saying I agree, which looking back makes no sense. At the time I thought nothing of it because I was panicked and trying to get out. After speaking with other passengers that got their changes for FREE, I called Southwest directly. That's when I found out they had no record of my changes and I realized I was SCAMMED by this company. Please don't make the same mistake I did.
They are not competent, i regret ever having to book my flight through flighthub. I am so pained with their service.
Do not trust them, stay FAR FAR AWAY. They will not honour their Risk Free Rebooking policy. Told me it would be $500 PER ticket to change the flight PLUS any difference in airfare cost.
I looked on reviews of FlightHub while thinking of booking a flight(thank gosh). But I called just now to their costumer service number, asking a question whether they accept International credit cards, they said they can accept Bank of China, but insisted that I give them credit card info over the phone to book it immediately. It's just weird. Why would I want a representative to book a flight for me? Especially if I don't even know they will put my name, birth and mandatory things I need on the ticket correctly.
Would not honor the free cancellation within 24 hours. They said to send screenshot of where it says free cancellation. I did. Called again. Didn't honor it. Charged 75$ for cancellation. This is dishonest at best. DO NOT use them.
Attached to this review are two photos. In one you see what the insurance offers if we pay an extra $ 20. And in the other what is allowed to do without paying those extra $ 20. If the reader is an observer, he will realize that both are the same of such an account that they are asking us to pay an extra $ 20 to give us the same as what they give to those who do not pay them. What a deal.
They will bait with low price, raise it by 10-20bucks by the time you enter credit card details. You decline and go back to browsing - same ticket will be now up by 5-10 bucks and it will keep going up each time you decline. Completely shady operations - stay away.
When I booked tickets for my wife and I, the put my name on both tickets even though they got her gender and date of birth correct. It was up to me to find the error, and it took multiple calls over several days to finally get it fixed.
I had a really bad experience with Flighthub and this is the last time I will deal with them, 3 times bad experiences were enough!, I purchased a ticket, clicked on upgrade for an amount which I was not able to use (money wasted). When I wanted to use my upgrade, message showed that I could not, went back and forth with Flighthub and the airline, airline told me they have not received the extra fee I paid to flighthub, spoke with 3 agents there, very incompetent and were talking to me on the phone as if they wanted to get rid of me and that is for an issue that was not even my fault. I will NEVER EVER AGAIN use flighthub and will let all my family and friends know about this bad experience.
At the very least, they should have some basic knowledge to be able to advise customers about items that are outside of normal carry-on regulations. They just say 'go to the airline website' and only after I called United was I informed that I needed to get my CPAP machine approved by their Accessibility Desk as a carry-on medical device. If an ordinary person like me can contact United for all these details, why can't FlightHub staff do the same to familiarize themselves with baggage requirements? It would be a great way to sell more tickets if a customer is informed of all this when making a booking. But since they send us to the airline website, that is where I will go the next time to book my flight, instead of to FlightHub.
Never disclosed they don't allow cancellations. These guys are the worst! *****************************
I've been scammed by these people. They offer fair market prices, but they have some internal policy that's never disclosed to the customers and they use that as a strategy to get you. Be aware of this company. You're better off booking with some other legit agency even if they charge you a buck or two,.
The customer service is very sweet when you have to buy a ticket. Try to cancel and they get rude and bang the phone down. I spent almost $700 on tickets and they refuse to cancel due to an emergency I could not avoid. The customer service is in the Philippines, very bad English. Could not understand a word it was like she WAS answering the phone from her house as I could hear children crying in the background. DO NOT BOOK WITH FLIGHT HUB.
I just read a CBC article on customer complaints related to this company and it stirred up old memories for me. My partner and I booked a trip that flight hub mixed up the information for when they sent us back our itinerary. After a BATTLE we finally convinced them to fix it but then they changed my last and first name to the same as my partners... when we showed them this error they refused to fix their error. They said the tickets were null and void with the name error and there was nothing they could do. My partner (and I am not exaggerating in the slightest) had to call first thing when they opened in the morning and stay on the line until they would close at night for 3 days in a row. They would pass him around to different people... put him on hold for hours on end... Say they had to call the actual airline, put him on hold for hours, then pick back up the line and say there was nothing they could do because the airline was closed (they would WAIT for the airline to close so they could say that). They removed notes... told blatant lies... I just cannot say enough horrible things about this company. It was the first time in our lives we ever thought we were dealing with actual criminals.
DO NOT book through them.
Scam I have pictures of what I bought. 1333. 00 they charged me 2888. 00
I can't even begin to tell you the issues. Still not resolved.
I selected one star because that's the lowest option allowed, but the service was much less. The timeline of "service" if it can be called that was as follows:
2:53am - 39 minutes to rebook flights for the following day at the same times with the same airlines.
By 10:30 in the morning, I noticed three large charges pending on my credit card totalling over $2000.
10:22am - 2 hours 50 minutes with three different agents, including a supervisor and a manager trying to sort out where the pending charges came from, as well as confirming flights for the following day. At the end of this call, after numerous instances of "please hold for 3 to 5 minutes," even the manager could not account for where all of the charges originated, or the fact that they were billed in US dollars, given some charges came from a US office while others did not. In addition, the manager refused on multiple occasions to refund the $125 service fees per passenger totalling $250 as a sign of good faith, and for the inconvenience of almost 3 hours on the phone trying to sort everything out.
This was my first time using FlightHub and, as a seasoned traveler, I had high expectations of good rates paired with accurate service. FlightHub did not deliver, and I will never be using this service again, nor would I recommend this to anyone.
At this time, I have been told I will receive a call regarding the charges when they are posted and not pending, and to discuss call recordings and agent accuracy. This has been a terrible experience, and I regret ever trying this service.
Finally, after all this, FlightHub still gets their service fees and whatever commission they may make off my flights, though the manager did let me know that in many cases the company does not make a commission. Rather than handling this situation with a "customer is always right" and "what can I do to help?" attitude, I received much defensiveness in favour of the company and their business model, while still being riddled with "ums" and "uhs" as they could not locate the origin of the charges either.
Do your research before using this company. The Better Business Bureau has received 800 complaints in the past 12 months. Find the following CBC news story link below. It is an investigation into this company. If you value your time and money and don't want to gamble your hard earned dollars, consider using a more reputable company.

We bought Flighthub's CSA Travel Protection for uncancellable flights - $73.48. When our grandson was injured and his event cancelled, no need for the trip. In order to file a claim, you HAVE to cancel the flights - which cost me another $300. Now CSA says it has to be injury of one of the traveling members - when the category precisely says "Injury of a Family Member". Skip the insurance - in fact, skip Flighthub altogether and deal directly with the airline. You will pay more - or will you?
Flighthub is a scam that robs consumers not only of money but time, patience, and dignity. Shame on them!
Answer: Hi Kristina, We're sorry to hear that you are having issues with your booking. Could you please send us your 9-digit booking reference number by private message? Our Escalations Team will look into your case and contact you to help resolve the matter. Kind wishes
Answer: Terrible experience. I bought "extended cancellation insurance" which apparently expires the same day you buy it. I learned this when I tried to cancel my flight the next day. Why would anyone buy cancellation insurance that only lasts a few hours? They did refund my cancellation insurance but I was stuck with the flight. I would not have booked when I did if I understood the cancellation policy.
Answer: No comparison to this disaster. Very bad site. Will avoid.
Cheap Flights is what FlightHub.com is all about. Save big on airfare, airline tickets and hotels. A great way to get cheap deals.
