I must say that I find Flighthub to a competent and competitive player in the market, they've got a great staff supporting their operations and word is out that they are very particular and focused on their people. Communicating with them is made easy by their consummate friendliness, they're always willing to lend a helping hand; as I said people are a priority of theirs and I hope I can say the same of others in their industry. Keep it up! Impressed and glad to have done business with you.
This service is great! At first I had sweaty qualms about it as I'd rather walk up to a bricks-and-mortar store and get things done face-to-face, but I have to say that I was really satisfied with how Flighthub manages their business, in every single aspect. They're soundly professional and accommodating; I must say, my travels have been a breeze with them at my helm and I'd love to develop how things are going and have even better experiences with them.
I have booked two tickets from Toronto to Los Angles, Dec 10 and return Dec 28.
When I checked the ticket, it was $1084 Canadian Dollars (for two persons). I have checked the price was quoted Canadian Dollars NOT US Dollars. I filled out all of information, including my Visa card number and submit the confirmation. After I received the message that my request is completed, I got an email from Flighthub.com the confirmation of my flight with the total price of $1449. 42 Canadian Dollars, which is about $365.42 CAD different from what I was booked.
I am 100% sure when I have booked my flight the amount was $1084 Canadian Dollars (tax was included).
I called customer service regarding my issue with the price right after I received the email. I talked with an agent; he asked me to send an email and explain about my issue. They will get back to me in 24 hours, now it's the third day and still waiting to get back from them. This is worst online booking company I have seen in my life so far. They are lying to their customer and take more money from their customer's pocket. I am so sorry for this company and the way they are making their money.
I honestly thought the experience would be something I'd regret, but I was wrong. I'm pretty much a skeptic when it comes to online booking. However, my booking with Flighthub from JFK back home to Anchorage was truly a breeze. I am piled with so much work that having some free time to visit the old folks during the holidays is definitely precious. Thank God I never had any trouble with my flight. Plus, their call center was also accommodating. Would definitely book with them again.
My fiance n I booked a hotel reservation wid them. I was actually happy with how things went with FlightHub. They're helpful and answered all my pre-booking questions. I was actually planning to do it wid Hostelworld but I guess that won't be an option now.
1. They charged me $150 instantly on top of the $300 penalty for cancellation (and by the way, they refuse to transfer credits to another flight booking on their own website)
2. Wont refund me for 8 WEEKS! (I desperately need that money to book an earlier flight to visit my grandpa in the hospital, the original reason for my cancellation)
2. They told me at 8 PM that their supervisor wont be available to speak to me for 4 hours. So I was supposed to get a call from them at 12 PM?!
3.2 hours wasted on the phone with careless, robotic "customer care reps"
4. One of the representatives was yelling at ME! Im the one getting scammed by the company and still I'm the one who gets yelled at!
I booked a round trip using Flighthub from San Diego to Vancouver. The process was fast and done within minutes. The price was affordable and the customer support connected me to aircanada afterwards to make sure everything was done. Thumbs up for Flighthub's service and looking forward to booking with you guys again.
I travel alot for work and usually book my flights directly thru the airlines. However a friend mentioned Flighthub would b cheaper. So I did some research on FlightHub, was a little shaky at first but I was pleased to see the prices were a lot cheaper than the airline. It was a smooth transaction.
I and all the people i know will never buy from this site EVER AGAIN even if i have to pay more from another site!
For 5 months they were suppose to reimburse me and were always finding an excuse why the payment wasn't going through and making me wait for one hour everytime! But to PAY THEM it goes through right away!
I had to call my bank in order to get my money back and they gave them the bill WITH INTEREST for their lateness!
So to anyone ever considering booking on flighthub don't please! Please read. Like. Share.
DO NOT EVER book with this company! My dad came to visit me and help me out after a back surgery and while here he thankfully decided to stay on longer. He called to change his flight and was assured that after a hefty change fee he was on a flight home 4 days later. He was promised an email with the revised itinerary which never came but was immediately charged the change fee and was sent an invoice for that.
On the day before he was supposed to leave we logged in and printed out the boarding pass which had the wrong date on it. He was scheduled to leave on the 17th but the boarding pass said the 16th. After 3 hours on the phone with the inept people who run this show their answer was for him to buy a new ticket. I'm sorry but he's done that twice aready and it was their error. There never was a confirmation email sent with the revised date and time.
The "supervisor" we spoke with (Shannon) indicated her supervisor was not "taking any more calls" so now my dad who has gone out of his way already is left on the hook for another flight because the company has no concept of how to run a business. NEVER will I book with them and I can only encourage you not to as well.
I fly a lot and recently found this one. Honestly between Kayak, Expedia and CheapOair I believe this one is having and finding the best prices. Their service is easy and really most of the flights offered are cheaper than their competitors.
Try it.
I booked tickets for my wife and me to travel from Edmonton to Boston, departing on Nov 7,2015 and returning on Nov 14,2015. I checked the dates carefully, put in credit card details and confirmed the purchase. Later in the evening when I read their e-mail confirmation, the dates were departure on Nov 9 and return on Nov 12! I surely could not have got BOTH dates wrong! I phoned up their toll-free number and cancelled my booking. They will collect "penalty" for cancellation from me, which gives them rich income.
Their e-mails come from a "noreply" address and there is no point replying to their messages. On their website, there is no e-mail address to contact or complain. When you phone their toll-free number, the menu options have nothing other than new or existing reservations.
Their system appears to be designed to cheat. How else can anyone explain that there are many victims who have the same experience and that there is no recourse?
Don't book online with this site. Unless you want to get fleeced.
Through my positive experience in the past with flighthub, I recommended my parents to book thier 45th wedding annivery trip with flighthub. My father recently fell from a ladder and injured himself a week before his flight to cophenhagen. Myself and other siblings looked into options of cancelling. Flight was cancelled through the airline however this matter was discussed with flighthub agency. "The customer service representative informed me that we did not have to call back the airline to cancel our cancellation!" This misinformation led us to believe that the flight was going to be available for the departure date. The agency sent electronic ticket two days in advance which did not exist on the airline system. In the end I addressed this matter with the airline and flighthub to resume my parents flight. Thinking everything was according to plan as the agency confirmed on the ticket, drove my parents to the airport to find out they had no seats available... After this disappointing incident, my sisters and I have been on the phone with flighthub for more than 10 hours to resolve this matter. As a result my parents not only missed their flight but missed their 45th anniversary cruise to Europe which can not be refunded! This has been horrible experience with flighthub after years of being their LOYAL customer. Not only have I been a long time customer but I have also raved about them to friends and family. Resulting in many purchases with flighthub.
Honestly, I am not the type of person to write negative review but after this experience I felt that other customers should be aware of flighthub's lack of assistance and willingness to resolve matters that was truly their fault!
As a frequent traveller now I know I should NEVER deal with flighthub! I want other travellers to be aware that in any life situation flighthub is not willing to accommodate to the customer's needs but only to mislead their clients!
The Company is a Fraud, they book the ticket will send you an email for booking and after a few minutes they will send a cancellation email but will not remove the charge created on the credit card.
Their helpline is of no use and the supervisors are useless.
This company's accreditation with BBB has also been cancelled due to many unresolved complaints.
Unfortunately I didn't research this company before booking through them. Their on-line processing system seems to be sorely lacking and cause incorrect charges which are very hard to get refunded for. It is incredibly hard to get in touch with a person that can actually help to resolve a dispute and there are many reviews on-line that testifies to this. I am working with them for a week now to get a refund for a glitch on their system which caused charges on my card. I am exploring every venue to try and get this resolved and really not a happy customer at this stage!
I needed to change my return date. I had known when I booked my flight that this was a possibility so I checked with the booking agent that it would be most relatively easy. They all agreed that is would be pretty easy. Well, it wasn't I called three times. Every time they told me to call back. So I called back, every time getting a worse agent. They were unhelpful and rude. One agent would just talk over me if I asked a question. She said the wrong English word repeatedly (she used week instead of month) and when I corrected her mistake, she told me she didn't make a mistake. I said I didn't care that she made the mistake as long as she really did mean month. I had to take a loss on my flight because they were unhelpful, rude and just complete idiots. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!
I had a recent bad experience with Flighthub. Basically, one of the reservations for a flight in my three-flight itinerary disappeared from the Flighthub itinerary and I was not notified. The actual flight was not cancelled, just my reservation was not there any more. Nobody notified me and I found out the day before while trying to do the check in on line. I was abroad, so I had to make a costly long distance phone call to Flight hub. They told me that they would not intercede on my behalf to solve the situation, that it was the air company's fault and that I had to solve it on my own. Lesson learnt: a conventional travel agent would interact for you. Flight Hub only sells you the ticket, period. Besides, they do not have a free phone number to call from abroad and they do not advertise an email address to contact them. Probably all this is spelled out in small print in their homepage. I phoned later when I came home to confirm that this was their policy. I guess in the future I will buy directly from the airline or use a conventional travel agent that may cost you a bit more but will intercede for you if something goes wrong. Caveat emptor
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I called ten minutes after booking to change one letter in one of the three travelers names and they wanted me to pay $224 dollars to change it. Every time I asked to speak to a supervisor I got the same word track that I would have to wait on hold for a long time and that I would just be told the same thing. After asking for the third time she took it down to $75 dollars. They are beyond terrible and anyone working there should be embarrassed to be affiliated with them. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, pay $20 more on the airline's site or even Expedia.
A total scam from top to bottom - promise the world, screw it up, then try and use your credit! They want documentation, which you send, but they deny receiving. Send them proof and they claim the attachments with supporting documentation weren't received. They keep telling you to resend, then call back - with no results. When you're finally fed up and ask to speak to a supervisor, they tell you to call back during business hours! WORST travel group EVER!
I had great service from FlightHub and the price was great. They even sent an email one day before my flight to remind me of my itinerary, I would definitely use them again.
Answer: Hi Kristina, We're sorry to hear that you are having issues with your booking. Could you please send us your 9-digit booking reference number by private message? Our Escalations Team will look into your case and contact you to help resolve the matter. Kind wishes
Answer: Terrible experience. I bought "extended cancellation insurance" which apparently expires the same day you buy it. I learned this when I tried to cancel my flight the next day. Why would anyone buy cancellation insurance that only lasts a few hours? They did refund my cancellation insurance but I was stuck with the flight. I would not have booked when I did if I understood the cancellation policy.
Answer: No comparison to this disaster. Very bad site. Will avoid.
Cheap Flights is what FlightHub.com is all about. Save big on airfare, airline tickets and hotels. A great way to get cheap deals.
