It took me less than 5 minutes to make a booking for my parents. I didn't need their best purchase guarantee so I just deselected it and saved $20 extra bucks.
I booked with FlightHub for the first time recently. Never again. Their checkout process does not clearly indicate the fees that will be billed to you before you've been made to enter your financial information. When I contacted customer service to rectify the billing discrepancy they offered no middle ground and wouldn't even directly address the issue I had, which makes me think it's not the first time they've been approached by a customer with this issue. More to their dishonesty, it's not even an issue I can safely screen cap proof of without completing the billing process again and give them my financial information again something I simply don't trust them with at all anymore. Avoid this website. Untrustworthy.
I visited Montreal last March with my husband for his 60th birthday and I chose FlightHub as my booking agent. My husband, Herbert, used to book the flights, but I want to surprise him so I did it myself as a birthday treat for him.
I thought I would mess up. Luckily, there was a hotline on top of their website. Marion, the call center agent, helped me a lot in completing the booking. When we were in Canada, I called them again before flying back to Utah and they assured me that everything is set for our flight.
My husband and I had fun with the children and the grandkids. Hope to book more flights with FlightHub.
I visited my brother in Toronto last July and it was the first time I booked with FlightHub.
I've read the bad reviews about the travel agent, so I got curious. I know I was making a huge risk, especially with all the news about problems with their booking.
However, everything went smoothly with my week long vacation. I even called their customer support just to see if they do have an agent on the other line to help me if I needed to amend anything on my flight.
The experience was absolutely fantastic. I'd definitely book with them again.
Well, I was visiting my family last winter in Vancouver when something went up at the office and I had to cut my vacation short. I already booked a round trip ticket so, I tried calling FlightHub's customer support.
They never let me down. After a few minutes, I was booked to the next flight that day and I was able to report to our office at Columbus, Ohio and help my team with what they're fixing. I'd surely book my flights again with FlightHub on my next vacation.
They know what they're doing and I sure won't settle for anything less.
A couple of months ago, I went to Quebec for a business meeting. I used FlightHub to book my flight to and fro; everything went well. However, I bumped on to some of my friends from college two days before my flight back to Pennsylvania. This was one of those rare occasions that I got to connect with them. So, I tried re-booking my flight through customer support.
I heard a lot of rumors that FlightHub's call center was notoriously mean spirited. However, I'm here to prove all of those rumors wrong. Jessie, the agent on the other line, was very courteous. She was able to help me with my concern and walked me through the whole process of re-booking my flight.
At the end of the day, I got a chance to bond with my friends and chat a little before I went back to work.
Thank you FlightHub!
I'm flying back home to Alberta on the 26th. I've checked with other agents on the web and so far FlightHub fits the bill. I am able to book a flight from Buffalo to Edmonton in such a breeze. I do have their call center number which is conveniently posted on the website. Honestly, I am a bit excited to go back home and the fast and convenient booking with Flighthub made me even more ecstatic. Can't wait for Thursday. Will post updates if something goes awful with the flight, of course. Cheers!
And you will see the hundreds of complaints. Many other options!
We booked our flights with flighthub traveling from Ontario Canada to Hawaii. We paid extra to have flights with only 1 leg because we were traveling with 2 small children. We received an email a few weeks later to call flighthub because there had been a change to our flights. When we called they said our flight has been changed and now instead of 1 stop over it would have 2. We said that we wanted to have only a one leg flight and they said there was nothing they could do about it and that we would have to contact Air Canada to fix this problem. So we accepted and then called Air Canada who regrettably said they could not help us because we did not book through them but in the future if after booking a flight with them we find cheaper somewhere else within 24 hours they will match it!
When we phoned flighthub back they said they would no longer help us because "we accepted the changes" even though they lied to us about our options.
We spoke to several supervisors who said the recording of the conversation would be sent to investigations and that we would be contacted within 24-72 hours. We were never contacted. 1 week later I was finally able to get through to a supervisor after repeatedly being told to call back and even hung up on. The supervisor said it would cost us an extra $350 per passenger to rectify the situation. We asked to speak to her boss and she said managers do not take phone calls. We asked if anyone has listened to the initial recording where we were told to call Air Canada to rectify the problem and she said "it does not appear that anyone has listened to it"
I cannot stress this enough... DO NOT USE FLIGHT HUB. Book your flights through Air Canada and then call them with the price you see posted on flighthub and they will refund the difference.
Do not let this company get away with these terrible things! I will continue to post about this company every chance i get. I hope to take this to the media so people know what kind of company they really are!
Here are the employee numbers for some of the people we spoke with. Not sure if anyone else can do anything with it or not...

This is my first time to use flighthub. I called to book a ticket from YYZ to MNL on 18dec15 - 05jan16 and a lady from customer service helped me, her name is Jana. She was very accommodating and has a very beautiful accent. I'm sure this will not be the last time I will use the website and hope it would be Jana again who will assist me. Happy customer here!
I once booked with Expedia and I was agitated with the deals that changes when you finalize your payments. It was not cheap at all and it wasn't that efficient too.
With the help of my friend's recommendation, I learned about FlightHub and I booked the same reservation I cancelled with Expedia. I was really happy with how things went with FlightHub; Cheaper indeed, Fast and Reliable.
Now I know why my friends suggested them instead of Expedia.
I already booked twice with FlightHub one to Los Angeles and one to Dubai, both flight deals were really cheap. Confirmation was sent to my email after just minutes and I got to print my ticket quickly.
I booked a flight from Vancouver to New York. Everything went swiftly, I was a little hesitant at first considering the company is new because one of my buddies knew a guy working there so he recommended FlightHub. Anyway, the representative who answered my call gave me the information I need and he confirmed my booking. He even suggested I confirm my flight to the airline and he gave me the number. Good guy. Not bad for my first experience with FlightHub.
I recently booked a flight from Calgary to Victoria with Flighthub. The initial flight costs was $337.31, which is fairly reasonable. A day later I was notified by my work that I had to be in Victoria for a week longer than I expected.
When I called, the customer service agent told me that they couldn't get me on a return flight until a full week after I requested. They let me know I could cancel the flight for $150 and rebook another flight using the $337 as credit. $150 dollars for cancellation is a little steep, but I was completely fine with this.
A day later I called back to rebook the flight. I talked with another customer service agent, who told me that the fee would be $408 dollars. I assumed that was the total cost of the flight as that's roughly in the range of a flight from Calgary to Victoria (a little on the high side).
It turns out I was quoted the difference between my first flight and the second flight. The total for the second flight was actually $745. The worst part is, that on the Flighthub website the exact flight I am on only costs $427 dollars. After all the fees and additional fare this brings my total to $919.00 which is almost triple my original booking (and around the cost of a cheap flight to Europe)
I've been on the phone with their customer service agents who have assured me that I agreed to the $919 charge. I would recommend to always book through the airline for domestic flights and to avoid Flighthub at all costs.
If you want or need to use a third party site for your airline ticket, avoid Flighthub at all cost. I needed to make a change to our flight a few hours after booking and was charged over $280.00. Expedia and others offer a free cancellation policy within 24 hours of booking.
DO NOT BUY FROM FLIGHTHUB. Eventhough they advertise free cancellation within the same day, they did not honour that. I tried to cancel within the same day and they refused to refund the money.
Many other issues such as their travel insurance is very scammy.
My friend had used FlightHub for several years and I can say it's one of the trusted travel sites now-a-days, she once had a problem with her booking because she have to cancel a booking a day before her flight they were able to manage a refund on time. However they weren't able to change her to the right booking due to short notice.
I found a reasonable price for a return flight for the dates I wished and filled the booking online... constantly checking everything as I progressed. My understanding from the site was I could cancel the flight within the same day of purchase so I assumed this meant 11:59pm the same day. It is normal for airlines to provide free cancellations within 24 hours... so I took note. When I took the last look over all of the information before submitting my payment and confirming my booking I was satisfied. The confirmation page on the site and the email I was immediately sent had my flights booked for completely different dates.
I immediately called the FlightHub 1-800 number to cancel this flight. I was told I would be charged $75 for the cancellation... which was "the best they could do for me considering the airlines would charge $300"... I disputed that ridiculous claim... and demanded to speak to a supervisor... I was getting angrier by the second. No supervisor was available. I argued and argued until it was almost midnight as the customer service agent kept pointing out... so I agreed to the cancellation with the $75 charge.
The email I received only stated that my flight had been cancelled... no breakdown of how much I was charged or would be refunded.
I called them back... checked my credit card... and so on and so on. I can't believe they can scam this way. To change the dates is outrageous first off and then charge $75 to cancel their mistake... then be quick about charging my credit card but unclear about how much will be reimbursed etc.
DO NOT USE FLIGHTHUB... they are SCAM ARTISTS.
I had issues with them before, but through dealing with customer service over the phone was able to book. The hassle wasn't worth the few bucks I saved on the tickets though.
This time, again, they came up a few dollars cheaper than the next competitor, so I gave them another shot. I was buying 6 tickets.
Upon checkout, it told me that the flights increased in price by $0.00 and the new total is the exact same as before, would I like to continue. Click yes, and the same thing happened. In the end, the tickets never went through, but each click of "yes, continue" added a line item onto my credit card statement.
I don't know what's wrong with this company, and how they can continue to operate their business, but I will never even bother considering them again.
I loved my recent experiences with Flighthub, never have I been better treated by any travel company. I felt like I was being taken care of. Their staff, it must be said, are simply spectacular. You guys did a great job training and developing your human resources else your customers wouldn't be half as satisfied as I am now. I would definitely recommend you to my friends and relatives. I enjoyed doing business with you and I hope you guys can adequately answer all my future needs and interests as I continue supporting you,
Answer: Hi Kristina, We're sorry to hear that you are having issues with your booking. Could you please send us your 9-digit booking reference number by private message? Our Escalations Team will look into your case and contact you to help resolve the matter. Kind wishes
Answer: Terrible experience. I bought "extended cancellation insurance" which apparently expires the same day you buy it. I learned this when I tried to cancel my flight the next day. Why would anyone buy cancellation insurance that only lasts a few hours? They did refund my cancellation insurance but I was stuck with the flight. I would not have booked when I did if I understood the cancellation policy.
Answer: No comparison to this disaster. Very bad site. Will avoid.
Cheap Flights is what FlightHub.com is all about. Save big on airfare, airline tickets and hotels. A great way to get cheap deals.
