My wife booked a ticket on flight hub at 2:00 PM... and do to circumstance she had to cancel 8 hours later. Called customer service. It took 3 attempts. The first 2 I was disconnected after we went through all the steps... They put me on hold and while waiting the call was disconnected. The third attempt the agent came back on and said there would be significant penalties to cancel. When we explained we had paid an extra $19.99 for cancellation insurance the explanation was "the insurance covers the same date you purchase your ticket."... great, we purchased the ticket at 2:00PM... It is now 8 hours later... 10:00PM we get a full refund right?...,,,,,, WRONG... Because we live on the west coast... and it is now 1:00AM (the next day) in the eastern time zone the refund no longer is valid. So, we purchased cancellation insurance for a total 7 hours... Not for 1day (24 hours) as they imply when they are asking you to purchase the $19.99 cancellation insurance.
Having dealt with Expedia and Travelocity who don't mislead you we will never deal with Flighthub again...
They made changes to our tickets 5 TIMES! I stayed on the phone for more then 3 hours and they still haven't solved the problem. I'd rather pay more then deal with them TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, STAY AWAY FROM FLIGHT HUB
Make sure you don't need to make changes to your original booking, it will cost you. $350! My booking was $500 and have recently run into some serious financial trouble. After being on hold for almost 2 hours (1 hour x 2 days) I was told "there is nothing we can do". Was able to switch my accommodations to be free - thankfully not booked through flighthub! - and not I'm stuck with these tickets. Thanks for having a good ethic business practice!
Customer service is terrible. The lady on the phone yelled at me when I was trying to explain that the ticket was for a child and the last name was spelt incorrect. When she wouldn't help me I asks to speak to supervisor and she continued to tell at me! I told her even if her supervisor couldn't help me I was making formal complaint about her because I have never been treated so badly by a customer service provider! As of this minute I have been on hold for 20 minutes waiting for supervisor, she keeps coming back saying they are busy and did I want to continue waiting? Yes I want to continue waiting! If you where an employee of mine your be fired on the spot for treating even my rudest customer in this manner and I wasn't even sure. She just couldn't help me so I asked for someone who could.
I WILL ADVICE PEOPLE TO STAY AWAY FROM FLIGHTHUB. IT'S EASY TO BUY YOUR TICKET FROM THEM, AFTER THAT YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS NON-EXISTENCE.
I STAYED ON THE PHONE FOR 5 HOURS, YET I COULD NOT REACH ANYONE FROM THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
TERRIBLE SERVICE!
I booked a ticket from them and the connecting flight that they gave me is through an airport where there is not much facilities and gave the longest layover time there. When I checked online, the airport is not safe. And they sent me tickets as I booked. I paid through credit card. I don't feel safe to go there. Can I get my money back?
Absolute worst booking agency I have EVER dealt with. Stay away and save yourself HOURS and HOURS of being on hold. After booking a flight to Iceland and having to cancel it, they have refused to refund me, saying that they already did, which they have not. Now they are wanting my confidential credit card statements saying that I have to prove to them that I didn't receive for they say they have already credited me. I have filed a dispute claim with my reputable bank (they are excellent to deal with - RBC) so I'm hoping my money gets refunded soon.
STAY AWAY! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!
Flew back to good ol' Texas from Canada and oh my gosh, it is SO HOT! Anyway, thanks to this site for providing me with a ticket
I wanted to remove my middle name from my airline ticket (as it was not on my passport). I contacted the air carriers to which I had a flight with and they referred me to Flighthub. I then proceeded to contact FlightHub and they were of NO help. They told me that I have to contact the air carriers (which I told them I already did), and kept repeating that information. They then told me the only way I could change the information is to cancel my flight at a cost of $250.
Bought ticket at special price. When received confirmation e-mail I noticed overcharges plus the medical insurance that I did not need.
Simply put: theft!
Called in and was explained that actually the airline modifies charges at their own discretion, therefore Flighthub can not cancel or modify transaction...
Called airline and found out that - as I already knew - they don't have visibility over my ticket price. It's just the Flighthub changing charges all the way.
Called back at the Hub and when I asked for my ticket to be cancelled - was still less then 24 hrs since transaction time - the CSR was impertinent and with an attitude.
First she said it's going to be 75 $ cancellation charge.
I said that I am not going to pay that since it was based on false advertisement and wrong doing. They had to fix this.
She refused.
I said I am going to go to Visa and dispute the transaction and call the Better Business Bureau.
With an awful attitude she said that I can do whatever pleases me.
Being frustrated with her service I asked for a supervisor.
She simply refused to transfer me.
When I asked on what grounds she refuses to do her job she stated that she already gave me all necessary information and she will not transfer me to a manager.
I said that I am refusing to leave the line until I am talking to a supervisor at which she told me that I will just have to wait 15 minutes
( her voice tone saying actually that I will have to wait forever!)
Waited some time and then got disconnected.
Adding insult to injury!
I will stick to Orbitz or the airline webiste, next time!

They make you buy insurance unknowingly. Other third party booking sites I've used before do not use this sneaky tactic so I thought Flighthub would be the same. I got screwed over. Never booking again with them. Stay away.

They charged us 75$ because name not correct then I checked the statement after I ordered the ticket they charged 100$ extra then my wife printed out the ticket we note my sons name was wrong and then I call them they charged me 75 more dollars. Mwe think this is the worst travel agency ever NEVER USE FLIGHT HUB EVER AGAIN.

I was ripped off of extra 164 dollars after I made the purchase of my ticket, I payed the ticket wich stated taxes and fees included to which I had the shock to see extra fees were added later to a total of an incredible high price. I phoned costumer service ( wich is terrible) and told me to read the terms and conditions where it said that the price is subject to change. Never use this site it's a big rip off!

Just like booking with a real life travel agent, minus the extra costs (and sometimes extra attitude). FlightHub is all I need when I look for airline tickets.
What can I ask for? They not only offered superb customer assistance, but they called me after my flight to check out what I thought of them. Very good company,
FlightHub is responsible for the worst travelling experience we have ever had. Booking seemed easy... until they called my fiancée a week before travelling to tell him his flight had been cancelled... and that it was up to him to rebook. He was on the phone with them for dayssss (minimum 3 hour phone conversations) trying to get a new flight. Once that was figured out, we realized upon our arrival to the airport on our return flight that they had changed his flight again! Without warning! He was stuck in Spain (we live in Canada), for an extra 2 days! I had to travel back alone, we ended up paying so much extra in hotels, and although we paid the extra $200 for insurance... Flighthub states that they are not connected to that insurance, that it's separate. They were rude, disorganized, and has turned me off of travelling, I will NEVER use them again - and I will be sharing this with everyone I know, including posting it on Facebook and Twitter.
We are both athletes who travel the world to race... We will be sure that no one from our clubs will use Flighthub. I will also continue to contact them until we receive some sort of reimbursement.

Answer: Terrible experience. I bought "extended cancellation insurance" which apparently expires the same day you buy it. I learned this when I tried to cancel my flight the next day. Why would anyone buy cancellation insurance that only lasts a few hours? They did refund my cancellation insurance but I was stuck with the flight. I would not have booked when I did if I understood the cancellation policy.
Answer: No comparison to this disaster. Very bad site. Will avoid.
