I ordered a pair of Persols that "just" went out of stock after i placed the order, per an automated email that was sent to me by EZContacts. I then looked up the website and lo-behold, the glasses were still appearing in-stock. So i emailed the customer support center. They couldnt do much and told me that, there was an error on the website and they were working diligently to fix the availability of the product. I have email threads to prove this. The glasses still appear in-stock online and I have ordered these for my wife for christmas.
I also called the center and spoke to a very nice lady (thats the second star). She promised me that they will either refund or "keep looking" for the product and i should receive the order by January (clearly not in time for Christmas).
I tried using them this once and was thrilled at the price but am probably not going to use them again. My suggestion to other buyers would be to confirm availability of the product unless you want to be waiting for 8 weeks for it to possibly make it to you. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
It says ships quickly well I guess they have a much different definition of quickly than the rest of the world. Order Frames non prescription Lenses on the 8th still not here? Said they were in stock my guess another company saying they are US but only shipping address is US company is actually overseas? So tired of the misrepresentation that occurs with mail order.
First of all, when I ordered my sunglasses, it did take 2 weeks to ship; when I called the customer service number, it said they would be gone for a couple weeks in November. I think the owner must be like an Orthodox Jew or something and misses time for religious reasons. HOWEVER, after following up a couple times through email, I 100% did receive my order. It may take a bit longer than you'd like, and yes; I did have concerns that I may have gotten fleeced by a fraudulent scammer, but that wasn't the case.
Second, I have seen some reviews that claim the frames are fakes. I can't speak to that for sure; though I will say that I have owned a pair of Arnette frames before and they did seem to be a little heavier and sturdier quality than the ones I got from this place. Having said that, my order did show up in the authentic Arnette box, with the arnette booklet written in 6 different languages, with the Arnette decal sticker and silk bag with the crazy print on it. Exactly the same as the pair I bought at Sunglass Hut and I know those were the real deal. I don't know why these frames seemed light and not as well made, but they sure came with all the authentic accessories. And they look great. And they were $50 instead of $110 so if they are fakes, they are the most authentic looking fakes I've ever seen.
I hope this helps potential buyers make an informed and fair decision about this place. Would I buy from here again? I'm not sure yet; I may decide to spend the extra $$ and go buy a pair that I know without a doubt aren't fake. But as far as the business being fraudulent and your stuff never showing up; well that's just not true, but you may have to stay on them about it and be patient (it took me 3 weeks from order until I had my frames in hand). The glasses were on point. They did need to be adjusted but I just took them to my local eye glass place to get adjusted. They were over $100 less than in the store. Thank you.
Affordable prices for name brand glasses, and fast shipping on top of that. The glasses I ordered were at least $40 cheaper than my normal go to place, America's Best.
The glasses are ok, except for the curved part of the lens where visual clarity is not as good as when looking straight ahead.
My glasses took forever to be made and when I finally did receive them they were crooked. When I called customer service they told me that it was impossible that they could be crooked and if I wanted to get a new pair I would have to get a different style. I had to pay someone else to fix my brand new glasses glasses that I received crooked because I could not find those particular glasses anywhere else. Never again will I order from EZContacts.
Not cool, I've been a loyal customer and I haven't gotten a pair of sunglasses I've order. When right now I'm ready to order more but why if I haven't received my order

My glasses are what they were supposed to be but there is something off with them. My first pair of identical glass came from Lens Crafters and it just seems like they were easier to get use to. Not sure what the problem is but they are gonna have to work for now - spent too much $ on glasses lately.
This site always has the best deals to me. My glasses are exactly what I expected. This is my go to site for glasses and sunglasses.
Frame broken, still under warranty, took close to 2 months to get back, no updates and no reason given why it took so long
I ordered no-line trifocals, but when they arrived, I couldn't see out of them. I found out that the "seg. Height" was off. I got my eye doctor to draw on to the glasses where the reading portion should start. & I sent them back for a "lens re-do." EZ Contacts adv'sd me that a re-do was covered, so they sent them back when they had been re-done. Then, they worked perfectly! Overall, a great experience!
It's been almost 3 months since I placed an order for my husbands glasses,
Every week I calll they have new excuse for it
Now they said it's been shipped after 2 and half months which I never received.
I ordered glasses with an idea of when they would arrive. My kid needed them and I chose EZContacts mainly for the ship date. Nothing came for weeks, never heard anything from anyone. When the glasses arrived they were fine but with the service level where it was, I won't be ordering from them again.
Did not like the restocking fee. Ok quality for the price. Liked the customer service. Easy to get ahold of them.
Frames were out of stock, was never informed when purchasing nor after purchasing, just left waiting when I would receive a shipped notifcation
After two weeks after my order was placed I had not received shipping notification or any other notification about my glasses so I emailed customer service. I asked that if they could not ship my glasses immediately that they refund my order and cancel it. My request was completely ignored and They informed me they got new equipment and my order would be delayed (but didn't feel the need to email me about this earlier. It was only until I contacted them already unhappy that I was informed). I was told it would be another 3-5 days delay. 6 days later I had still heard nothing and received no shipping notification. I sent ANOTHER email to customer service, this time demanding they ship my glasses right away or refund my order (mind you my current glasses broke and I needed these to read certain labels for work). My refund request was ignored again and I was emailed the following day stating my order would be going out today. The communication between this company and it's customers was poor, the follow through was poor, and they offered me zero assistance. I tell everyone I know not to use this company now. My requests for a refund on two different occasions were not even acknowledged. I didn't want the glasses anymore at that point because I had to go out and buy another pair because shipping took so long. You definitely lost a customer here.
Only purchase if you are willing to wait 2 months. There is no communication with the status of your order, you have to call customer service and wait an hour to reach somebody. I had to change my order to a different style of glasses after I got tired of waiting 9 weeks. I definitely won't order again.
Answer: You will wait and wait and wait and maybe have them tell you they are coming and then wait and wait and wait. My advice... don't order from them. There are so many lens companies that are fast and have good follow-up... it isn't worth it!

Answer: You won't get them the next business day. I ordered glasses 3 weeks ago. After 10 days I contacted them for update, they claimed that they are discontinued, no discount or anytghing offered. So I order something else, customer service great, claims glasses will be FedEx shipped next day. Still waiting... it's been 4 days, no update. If you need your glasses fast, order elsewhere.
