My experience was great. I've never bought eyeglasses online before. Process was very easy and pain-free. I was able to use my flexible spending account credit card with no problems. Recieved my glasses and I absolutely love them... Was definitely Love at first sight! I was also updated periodically to inform me of my shipping status... will recommend to family/friends... Thank You!
I ordered my glasses at the begging of February, and was confirmed that i would receive my order in 5-7 business days. The morning after i had placed my order and pair, i received and email that my glasses were out of stock and they would notify me when they received replenishment. This was the first issue, if the item was out of stock why did the site not notify me of that when i was purchasing this item, rather than take my money and then advise it was out of stock. I proceeded to wait 2 full months after ordering before i received my glasses. I attempted to contact customer service for help, but i would not receive regular responses and only receive an email when it was convenient for them. I asked multiple times if someone could assist me in a refund or at least small compensation for the inconvenience, but these emails along with others went unanswered.
Its really nice they respond so quick for my questions regarding my order. Thanks EZ C thanks so much and more power to you guys. You are all awesome

J'ai également fait analyser les lentille chez un optométriste parce que j'étais incapable de garder mes lunettes plus de 10 minutes. J'ai du faire refaire les lentilles au montant de 165$. Bref, service très long et au final mes lunettes me coûte plus cher.

I you are considering adding free lenses to your purchase be careful. I purchased a pair of eyeglasses that came and the lense was such low quality that the glass was partially scratched. This wasn't apart the glasses being damaged it just the way they were made with the cheapest material. Even though they are free I'd considering getting the lenses put in at a professional company.
I ordered a pair of Nautica frames from this company and had them in just under a week. It's important to note that these frames were in stock.
I've been reading a lot of reviews lately where people seem to lack patience when it comes to waiting for an order. Granted, some companies could improve on updating inventory where reflected on the website as well as improve customer service. However, the way these online discounters give customers a great price is either to buy in bulk, or deal with the sourcing of leftovers that haven't gone to major retailers already. For the price differential in most cases, I'm willing to wait. In these cases, consider yourself fortunate if your item is on hand at the time of order.
Daryl was willing and able to resolve my issue, clarify, and alleviate the frustration I was having with my order. (Key word-Willing!)
I appreciate his patience and accommodation. He is the sort of person who is the "make" in the 'make or break' of customer/business relations. Give the man a raise... he saved the sale ;)
In the past two years, I've purchased several pairs of glasses for me and members of my family and have been very pleased with the pricing, selection, and customer service.
I ordered 5 different pairs of glasses with two different prescriptions and all 5 came in as they would have from the optometrist. Was not expecting the spare lens that came with each pair or the extra polishing rag and spray. Nice touch
Ez contacts incorrectly made my glasses and admitted to it. They Offered to remake them for free or I could return them less a restocking fee. I chose to send the glasses back for a return. The restocking fee (35%) ended up costing me $70.
I contacted ez contacts and their restocking fees are between 35% to 50% is you choose to return them.
I've ordered glasses from a few different online retailers and this one by far seems to have taken the longest amount of time for me to receive my order. I understand there are a few variables that come into play but in two orders I've placed the average time is just under a month (3.5-4 weeks)!
It would be nice to get a follow-up email with an ETA on backordered items. At least one of my orders showed up as in stock and I only learned that it was backordered after emailing customer service after 2 or more weeks passed.
I will say that once you get hold of someone in customer service they are very helpful and kind. And they respond to emails in short order.
I am also satisfied with my glasses. The prescriptions we're correct and there were corners cut on craftsmanship when fitting the lenses into the frames. The accessories included with each pair are thoughtful. (Lens cleaner, etc)
What originally attracted me to shop here were the prices and the location. Thinking this place is in NYC and I'm in Boston, shipping shouldn't take so long. That part of my though process went out the window. The actual pricing of the products is very competitive though.
Ordered a frame and received after 3 months with more than 25 followups. Please stayway from these. The customer service really pathetic.
The worst place to do business with, bought 2 pairs of sunglasses hoping one of them fit, nighter did, I sent them back right away express mail I may add to hope I would get a refund right away, took 3 weeks to get refund, EZcontacts said they couldn't process the return cause they were backed up on returns, had to dispute transaction with Paypal. Fortunately I did pay with Paypal they don't mess around like EZcontacts.com
It took me over a month to get my order. Your customer service is horrible. I will never order from you again. And I will spread the word of my bad experience
Found Rx sunglasses I was looking for at a great price. Ordered 3+ weeks before a vacation, not knowing company would be closed for FOUR business days over a 2-wk period for various holidays. Chose free 5-7 day shipping, but they upgraded to FedEx 2-day ground shipping for free bc of processing delay. Something went wrong between package pickup and actual shipping. Glasses shipped out on a Friday (supposedly), didn't receive until Monday 7 business days later when I went to FedEx center to pick them up myself on the way to the airport for my trip. Also, customer service phone line is terrible... typically on hold for 25-45 min before a human answers your call. Overall nice glasses, but don't order from them unless you are not on a time crunch.
I placed an order 2 ago with this company. After my order, which I was told would ship I'm 2-3 business days, I waited for 2 weeks for my order to ship. When I finally received my item the lense was falling it so I returned it. I asked them to fix it and they said I should go somewhere else in a very ride manner so I asked for a refund. I sent the item back and they notified me when they returned my item and said my return would be processed in 2-3 business days. Since then they have contacted me 3 times telling me they have received my item and wondered if I wanted them to fix it, or if I wanted a refund. They still have yet to refund my money so I have had to file a claim with my bank.
I love ordering from this site. Only complaint I'd have is the time it took for my last pair to arrive but no biggie.
I was a little nervous as a first time buyer for prescription glasses, but a the fraction of the cost than a brick and mortar I thought I would take a chance with EZContacts. I have to admit customer service was excellent, my premium pair of glasses were perfect, plus I received a couple of microfiber cloths, two from the lens manufacturer and one from EZContacts which was of high quality and a pocket pen spray lens cleaner. EZContacts also included the original sample lenses from my frames as extra verification of authenticity of my frames. I would have gave them five stars, except the processing of my glasses was slow, it took about a month from the original order date. With the exception of the slow processing of my glasses, I had a great experience with this company and more likely order from them in the future.
Answer: You will wait and wait and wait and maybe have them tell you they are coming and then wait and wait and wait. My advice... don't order from them. There are so many lens companies that are fast and have good follow-up... it isn't worth it!

Answer: You won't get them the next business day. I ordered glasses 3 weeks ago. After 10 days I contacted them for update, they claimed that they are discontinued, no discount or anytghing offered. So I order something else, customer service great, claims glasses will be FedEx shipped next day. Still waiting... it's been 4 days, no update. If you need your glasses fast, order elsewhere.
