Took me a month, and a lot of phone calls, to receive my glasses. Unbelievable. I'm not happy about how long it took. Glasses are fine, but you guys need to get your act together.
Did not notify me that glasses weren't in stock, and that I would have to wait an extra two weeks. Would have appreciated the extra heads up
The frames were not quite like they were pictured. There was supposed to be some blue colored spots on the lens frame but one side had none. Was a tad disappointed.
I ordered glasses for my son and site said it should be ready in 5-7 days. Cue to two weeks later, no glasses, no email explaining, nothing. Called numerous times (on hold oftentimes up to 45 minutes), given numerous promises that they would look into the issue, given numerous names, NEVER given a call back as promised or any information. I was ready to start a credit card dispute for the item, as this is completely unacceptable. Felt like I was being scammed! Finally I reached one rep who actually did as promised and gave me information. For all the trouble it was worth I wish I had paid the extra money and got them elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and the hours on hold trying to reach someone competent to help you. Stay far away!

Frames listed as 2-3 days to ship online but took a month to get. Called several times to check status and was told different reasons for delay such as "was not in warehouse and had to order", "still in the lab", "was available but last pair in stock".
Easy to use site, good description on the glasses, perfect fit. I am very happy with this pair of glasses and will consider purchasing from here again.
I ordered Biofinity contacts lens in July 2017 from EZ Contacts and I also ordered the identical contacts from Costco. There was not much of a difference in pricing between the two. I received the Costco contacts but did not receive the EZ Contacts. The web site stated they were "Fully Shipped". I called on a Friday and found that they were closed-ON A BUSINESS DAY? I tried calling on the Monday and I was number 43 in the Que. I called again on Tuesday and was number 28 in the Que. I was on hold 43 minutes until a CS rep answered. He had an accent and I could not understand what he was saying. After 15 minutes of being placed on hold he claimed the contacts were never shipped-no explanation why the web site claims they were and I would have to wait another 2-3 weeks. I stated that I received the identical contacts from Costco - He said that someone must have returned them to Costco, does he really think that everyone is a scammer like EZ Contacts? I requested a manager call back, STILL WAITING 3 days. I also requested that they cancel my order and credit my Visa account... This company is a sham, STAY AWAY and please read the numerous negative reviews on various web sites. Also, please be aware that the NYC BBB fined EZ Contacts over $100K for a major breach in their security web site. Credit card numbers and accounts were stolen (wouldn't be surprised if the owners and employees were stealing). These are the same people that bait and switch in the NYC electronics shams. I submitted a dispute with Visa credit card and the NYC BBB.
Ordered one year supply contacts and eye glasses that I needed for my deployment on a certain time. Both items I couldn't see with. Returned merchandise. Called numerous times supposed to get a call back from a manager. Send numerous emails. This is been a week ago and haven't heard from them. Now I am forced to have an additional expense to get eye glasses. Don't have my merchandise which was paid in full. I possibly have to get an attorney involved. This is the worse customer service I have ever had..

If things are on backorder, let a customer know, i had to inquire to see what the status was 5 business days after i placed to be told the frames would take another 2 weeks to come, add the time to make the lenses, ship to me, im waiting 6 weeks to get a pair of glasses, id rather go to lenscraftes, bend over and let them have their way with me. Anyways, daryl checked on the other colors for those frames and they were avail in 3 days, that saved me as a customer. On day one i should have been informed that the frames were unavailable, this is standard stuff, unless you guys hustle your customers, which i dont think is the case, WTF, so sad! And my rant ends! My experience with Daryl Grimes could have not gone any better. He was courteous and professional and took care of my order in a timely manner. I have ordered a few times from you and I have had a great experience every time. I also receive my lenses when I was told of the delivery date.
After multiple attempts and hours of waiting (online chat) and call. I had to get a 3rd party involved to have them initiate a resolution. The problem still hasn't been resolved, customer service has done nothing but lie, and i never received my glasses. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

This was my first order thru ezcontacts.com (I usually use framesdirect.com or designeroptics.com) and I was excited to have found frames I really loved. The order process was easy. I selected overnight shipping and paid the shipping charge of 34.99. I did not receive my order with the proper shipping as selected. I emailed support and this was the response I got was...

Hello Josh,
Thanks for taking the time to write to us. Since your order shipped in separate shipments, the overnight Fedex was only applied on the initial shipment and we used Priority for the other shipments.
I paid for overnight on everything I purchased. Why does the shipping meathod not apply to every item ordered?
The biggest issue I had was that the most anticipated frames I was excited about arrived warped and bent and not in their original flaw-free condition. Lesson learned I suppose. Framesdirect.com and DesignerOptics.com always sends all my items with the shipping meathod I chose on every item. They also check every frame for factory flaws before sending it to me. I know I'm picky but I spent over $2,000 on my purchase and expect my Oder to arrive as planned and flawless. This is an annual purchase I make every year.

I ordered a pair of glasses on EZContacts.com and expected to receive them within a week and a half or so. At the two week mark, I checked in to find that they had a question about my order but didn't bother to contact me to ask about it, instead just sat on it and did nothing. When I corrected the order, I also informed them of a change of address. Two weeks later, I was about to contact them about my order when I received a shipping confirmation TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. I called and after 15 minutes on home I was told that the change of address was in their system but for some reason it wasn't applied and that they would try to recall and fix it but couldn't guarantee it. Luckily, they were able to fix it and I did receive my order in the end after over a month of waiting and numerous calls to customer service.
Daryl was pleasant to chat with and indicated he will take charge of the situation with my order himself! I will be awaiting my order to come thru!

Costumer service is always very helpful, but the company fails miserably at displaying its inventory, and disclosing clearly when a product is backordered, which happens a lot.
I had heard if you bought pink tinted sunglasses it would help with migraines. The ones I bought were not very tinted and did not help and are actually worse for my migraines then my other glasses. That's my fault though for not researching before hand. The 7 day shipping you need to disregard as it takes a really long time to make the glasses. That said the prescriptions are right on the money better than any i have ordered locally.
This pair is a little loose so I am going to have to go to a local store and pay to have them tightened but still the quality is worth the effort. The only really negative comment is I was first drawn with to the site as you got a discount on your glasses after a certain number of point. I have bought two sets of glasses and gone over and never got the email with a coupon they said would come. However, I will just contact them the next time i get glasses. I will buy from them again and have recommended them to my friends.
Answer: You will wait and wait and wait and maybe have them tell you they are coming and then wait and wait and wait. My advice... don't order from them. There are so many lens companies that are fast and have good follow-up... it isn't worth it!

Answer: You won't get them the next business day. I ordered glasses 3 weeks ago. After 10 days I contacted them for update, they claimed that they are discontinued, no discount or anytghing offered. So I order something else, customer service great, claims glasses will be FedEx shipped next day. Still waiting... it's been 4 days, no update. If you need your glasses fast, order elsewhere.
