I ordered a pair of glasses and contacts and after a week it still said processing I called they gave me the oh we had to get it shipped from our warehouse I told them I wanted shipping information within 24hrs after seeing all of the bad reviews then I got a email with tracking saying my order will be here tomorrow I checked with ups and they said to call ezcontacts because all they did was print a label that they aren't in possession of my packages I'm disputing the charges with my bank I've been lied to 3 times that's bad business I'm going back to web eye care
Sarah K was excellent customer service as I had waited over 7 days to receive my order. She processed and expedited my order status so if all things are promised I should be receiving my contacts shortly. I will update my review if this does not hold true.
Paid extra for expedited shipping and my contacts took 3 times that time to arrive. When I pointed this out, not only did they deny the shipping method I'd chosen (despite email correspondence that prove otherwise) but they refused to refund my my shipping costs. Hold times on the phone are also impossible. Bad customer service all around.
Ordered contacts from these people. They took my money but after 2 weeks, still no shipping notification. When I call they tell me they don't have them in stock and that they will ship from the manufacturer within 48 hours. Of course that did not happen either. So I demand to cancel the order and get a refund. Now I getting stone walled on a refund. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE CROOKS!
I ordered my glasses on November 24th was told I would not receive them until the second week of January due to them having to be shipped from over seas. Called January 10th and now they're telling me the first week of February. TERRIBLE BUSINESS do not post an item on your website for someone to buy if you dont have the product or can't get it within the shipping speed you tell your customer. Super bad experience. After 10 days they haven't placed my order and they don't respond to my queries. I had to dispute the transaction. Total waste of time. Shame on them
Ordered my contacts weeks ago. Called 5 days ago to see what part of the process it was being held up for but they told me that everything was good to go that they should be shipped out no later than 48 hrs. It's been double that and still nothing...
I ordered my contacts on 12/27 and they still haven't shipped, but I've been charged. I am in a play that opens next week and I can not wear my glasses. I'm so upset I won't be able to see while I perform! Sent several messages, no response. I hope I can get my money back. Ordering contacts should not be so stressful!
I ordered my lenses Dec 27. I've emailed and called. Waited online for a response over an hour. Message popped up that no reps. Available. Received two emails saying as soon as it ships from a supplier they will let you know. Ha! I want a refund. Keep the lens and refund my money.
Ordered contacts received the wrong prescription opened the box not realizing they were wrong they will not return. This has been going on for 2 months horrible customer service.
Placed an order Dec 22nd. It hasn't shipped yet, emails have gone unreturned and phone call (where I waited starting at customer 22 in line) was not productive. I just want to cancel the order and place it elsewhere.
I had a great experience. It was easy and fast and affordable. I love my new glasses. I'm never buying frames anywhere else. I will come back to get prescription sun glasses. Thank you.
I've been waiting and waiting. Then got an email without any number to call them and it states that my prescription was not approved. I called customer service where I was caller 47 and waiting on the phone for three hours to find out they were closed. Then called the next day and I am caller 29 where I wait and finally after three hours holding I talk to someone who says it was a computer glitch and she manually fixed my prescription and I will get an email once the item is sent. 5 days later nothing. I normally order from Lens.com but EZContacts had a great price. Not worth the problems to save 20. I'm calling them now to stop the transaction and order through Lens.com. They already charged my card and Lens doesn't charge until the item is sent. I hope I get my money back. I'm mad and I can't see.
I placed an order on November 25, did not receive until January 3. Package was damaged and disgusting. I never even opened the package. It smells of mold. Contacted customer service and they want me to pay to send the package back so they can replace. Seriously, would anyone put contacts in your eyes that came from a package like this? Takes forever to get a response from customer service. It's as if they can't see the problem with the package. No resolution as of yet. Better of just disputing the charge and never ordering again.
Came to this site for the low prices and had an excellent experience with the shopping, free shipping and customer service follow-up. Will definitely shop here again! Clyde Williams was awesome.
I placed my order on Dec. 21, paid for it, no contacts yet, as of 1/9. Called and emailed. Was once told my order would ship on 1/4. I will not order from them again and will absolutely pay more the next time for better service. So much for trying to save $20.
I keep going back because the prices are better than other places, but I'm coming to the conclusion that I'd rather spend an extra $20 than have to spend two weeks and multiple contacts with Customer Service before I even receive a shipping confirmation that my order has shipped. This is the third time I've ordered contacts that will be shipped "within 1-2 business days," according to the website, and it's now been 7 days without shipment. (To be fair, that's only FIVE business days.) I don't even think I'd be so annoyed if they were just HONEST. Don't say "Orders placed before 2 PM will be processed that same day," and then not 'process' them for a week. And then when I check with you after 10 days to find out what the deal is, don't reply, "Oh, it looks like your items have already been shipped and here is the tracking number!" like you didn't JUST hurry up and print the label once you realized you messed up and forgot to process an order. I'm not stupid and I can see from the tracking info the exact time that you printed my label (half an hour before you replied to my email). And I can also see it hasn't "been shipped" if it's still waiting for the carrier to come pick it up. No more chances.
Update several weeks later:
Within 24 hours of posting this review, EZ Contacts found another version on a different site and then ALSO suddenly found my shipping confirmation information, like magic!:-D It had been created after I posted my reviews, but, you know. Details. They did mention that there had been a delay due to the holidays (over 2 weeks earlier, at that point) but then didn't reply when I mentioned that the website promised they would contact customers within 24 hours if there was going to be a delay.
Anyway, my kid eventually got his contacts, I unsubscribed from the email list, all's well that ends well... and I'll never go back. Who needs that headache.
Order made Dec 23 is not shipped as on Jan 9. No way to contact them other way then to call and every time they are telling "your order will be shipped in 24-48 hours". But nothing is going on.
Waste of time!
Ordered a pair of sunglasses on Friday. No email regarding delivery or shipment. They have my money though. Called up today and was told the glasses are back ordered.
Will take 2 weeks to get them. I will give them a chance but probably 1. And last time I will do business with them.
Answer: You will wait and wait and wait and maybe have them tell you they are coming and then wait and wait and wait. My advice... don't order from them. There are so many lens companies that are fast and have good follow-up... it isn't worth it!
Answer: They are not a trustworthy company. They have lied to me on numerous occasions about an order I placed.
Answer: None of their frames are authentic, but some people don't seem to care as they are still in business, sad really as companies like this should be shut down.
Answer: This company lies, they do not return phone calls or e-mails, they have the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with and I too wonder if they are a sham.
Answer: You won't get them the next business day. I ordered glasses 3 weeks ago. After 10 days I contacted them for update, they claimed that they are discontinued, no discount or anytghing offered. So I order something else, customer service great, claims glasses will be FedEx shipped next day. Still waiting... it's been 4 days, no update. If you need your glasses fast, order elsewhere.
