It's ridiculous that, even with "1 day shipping", I'm still not going to get my order for 10+ days. I hate this site, and the only reason I use it is because I'm stuck with of my insurance. I buy the bare minimum on this site, and then purchase the rest from a competitor who ships faster and has better prices.

The same brand and amount of contacts I purchased less than a year ago are now twice the price. I can buy the same contacts from another online provider for 1/4 of the price. You increase the price and then deduct the $150 VSP discount, so that you can charge the same amount as retail.

My Gucci glasses, which supposedly have Blue Light Reduction, don't appear to be as effective as my other glasses that also have this feature.

I have been using eyeconic for a few years now. I've always had fast shipping and felt pricing was fair. This is the first year that my husband's job has switched to eyeconic. The frames that I was interested in were much more expensive than on other sites. I will review in person places for next year for both my vsp and my husband's vsp plan.

It is nice to be able to see how my insurance actually works in real time
This was the only online option for my insurance. There was zero benefit to using this website to purchase glasses rather than just purchasing from the optometrist and actually being able the try the glasses on your face. The upcharges for hi-index lenses and photochromatic lenses were significant. In the end, I paid about the same price I would have paid if I didn't use my insurance at all and just ordered the glasses online. It's ironic that my insurance company forces me to use this site because it feels like it's setup to pocket the insurance money while also making the insured cover the cost of the glasses.
