At my OPTOMETRIST I pay from $50-$180 for an assessment and my frames with my prescription. With that being said, it's harder to find more fashionable glasses at my OPTOMETRIST so maybe once a year I will get a pair of glasses from here to try something a little more out of my comfort zone and I've never hated them, but I find that they don't often me become my regulars, but maybe it's because I'm not finding a style that I'm genuinely in love with.
I was a bit beyond the 14 day return limit and they gave me the chance to return anyway as it was close. Great experience!

After the failed first order, I verified my prescription and it was identical with what I had on my prescription. I placed the 2nd order with the same prescription and rec'd another pair of unusable glasses. The 2nd order was not as horrible as the first, but still not even close.
I am done with Eyedirect and will post negative reviews on social media to stay away from this online company.

Much too automated - difficult to reach a person. Was ultimately unable to utilize insurance benefits causing more out of pocket cost. Response was vague and unhelpful including irrelevant information.
I ordered two pairs of glasses. One had the correct prescription and one was incorrect. They had me send the wrong one back and said I'd be refunded. Still waiting on the refund.

I have ordered from your website before and found it easy and affordable. This time around I had to enter my new prescription at least 12 times. I would constantly get error messages saying that the frames use elected can not support your prescription. That is fine but I had to go through multiple pairs of frames re-entering my prescription each time to find a frame that can accommodate my prescription. Your filters need to be updated.
I have been ordering from Eyebuydirect since 2018. The extensive size guides are what initially hooked me, as I was able to find a pair of similarly sized frames to a pair I was buying from a local supplier that became unstocked. It was even better that the pair I bought was about 20% the cost of the pair I had been buying (frames and prescription combined). At the time, I was working my way through college and money was scarce, so budget friendly was a huge factor. Adding in the decent quality for the price, and I was forever hooked. Because of the low prices, I am more willing to explore different types of eyewear.
If I have one negative thing to say, it was that my current glasses (also from here) are not anti-reflective even though that was part of the package. This is very problematic with pictures, especially when I needed to update my ID. This was not an issue with another set I owned, so I hope the new set is better.

I would like to point out that I screwed up when I was giving a review at the end of my chat and accidentally clicked on "1" for my rating of the representative that helped me and I MEANT TO CLICK ON "10".
Previously I wont lie i was VERY hesitant but with eyeglasses in store prices rising and the such i had to try these guys to see if they're good and as well priced as people swear and YES they are. It DOES take time for them to ship and make the frames but they work great when arrived.
The glasses did not fit well. I think it was the nose size. They keep falling down. If I tighten it around my face, it hurts my temples. I bought them for a backup pair when vacationing overseas and they came in very quickly.

Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
