Considering I haven't received the glasses yet it's hard to evaluate EyeBuyDirect. Having past work experience in fitting frames I'm curious how they'll know where to place the progressive lens. When I did frame fitting we had to mark exactly where the pupil was on the frame display lens or measure from the bottom of the frame to the pupil. I think their 'Try On' feature is great. The main reason I chose this company is the money back guarantee. This is my first attempt at progressive lens and I didn't find anyone else who could offer anything more than replacing the lens for single vision (then I'm out the added $$ spent for progressive lens). If I can update review after receiving glasses I shall do.
This website was super easy to navigate, happy about PD ruler print out didn't have anything on my prescription about that, an awesome selection of frames, love their return policy.
My nephew's mom spent $200 on a pair of glasses and within a week, the frame cracked. I took it in to seek assistance, but the company, despite all measures, sought for me to purchase another one and this one was a designer's frame at a cost of 400.00! Though it takes time to process eyeglasses, I am an ardent and devoted patron. Why? The pair I have on is 400.00 less than what I originally would pay. That is just for lenses. I is a needed gift and worth the sentiment - my nephew; s vision!
I love that there is such a large selection of stylish glasses, and lenses. I needed a pair of blue light filter glasses for work but didn't want to spend a ton of money on them. I found really great looking frames for under $10, added my lenses and a case and got everything for just a few bucks overall. It was pain-free and fun to build my own glasses.

This is my first time buying online. This site was recommended by a friend. I haven't had my order delivered yet and I see other reviewers had some problems with the finished products so we'll see, but so far my experience on the initial order has been good. Much more affordable than buying at any optician or brick and mortar store and good selection of on-trend stuff for plastic "big" frames that are in style now. I liked the options for different lenses (photosensitive, etc.). With the exception of rimless--I found rimless at a cheaper price and wider selection elsewhere.
Messed up my prescription on the lenses which held up the order; Did not send my replacement order / had to reorder; no one can speak English so you have to keep asking them to please repeat in PLAIN ENGLISH! This has been UNPLEASANT.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
