Got frameless bifocals with strong presciption with no problems. Shipping was fast (within a week). My presciption was not working so I contacted via chat and submitted new Rx and recieved a new pair and free return on the previous pair. Excellent customer service.

At first, the quality of the lenses seemed great, upon inspection however, there was a deep scratch in the middle of of one of the lenses. Contacted eyebuydirect via online chat, arranged return and replacement. Then I was called the next day that the frames I initially purchased were not available for 2 day processing, even though the website indicated available; the associate on the phone confirmed that the availability status online was accurate. They canceled my order and I had to re-purchase. Since the website allowed me to purchase 2-day processing, I selected that option, then my order was canceled again. I'd had enough at this point and ordered glasses elsewhere. Eyebuydirect really needs to take better care in the processing and packaging of orders to prevent damage, they also need the website to accurately reflect in-stock status. Do not recommend.

I tried buying reading glasses but were sent glasses for distance. I was disappointed that I selected reading glasses and that is not what I got. The return was easy to do. I appreciate the experience in returning my items were quick and easy.

I wish EBD would bring back the "Kurt" frame, but those also could have used more adjustable arms, like the arms on the "Randy" frame. Maybe the ones I just ordered will serve... but seeing as this is like my sixth time ordering from EBD, I would say it is fair to say I am generally a happy customer.

I always enjoy shopping with Eye Buy Direct. I love the "Try On" tech (it's honestly pretty accurate), there are always great deals, and I never feel like I'm getting ripped off (which is a rarity in this economy).
When you go from the outside to inside they end up spider cracking across the lenses. This has happened to 3 pair that I've bought. The good thing is they replaced them right away. Still be careful the warranty is short on them.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
