I ordered readers with 2 day shipping and progressives with regular shipping. My readers came and they were made to be distance glasses. EyeBuy was great about getting a replacement pair but uninstall those cane as distance glasses too. They didn't seem to be able to confirm on their end why they were made wrong. A third replacement was ordered and came…. Same…. Distance…. They eventually blamed it on the lab because it was the lab they use for 2 day shipping that might not have had the +2 magnification lenses so they just made them without (3 times!) ultimately they cancelled and refunded my order and asked me to select a new pair that were not 2 day shipping. I am waiting for these.
So specifically
- it was near impossible to find frames in my size that were 2 day shipping that books be made with my prescription (not any unusual type of prescription) and when I did pick and find one apparently they couldn't be made as readers despite the system saying so
- the search functions in their website seem great because you can search by a lot of things but you can't really plug in your own rx and find glasses with any other filters applied (size, shape etc)
- customer service chat was polite and helpful but I got disconnected multiple times on multiple days. For the most part the notes were in there and the next person could pick up
- for at least 1 frame and I suspect more the "try on" feature does not show accurate dimensions of the frames…I. E I had a pair of frames (the progressives I picked) physically on my face (they were huge!) and went back to the try on function for the same pair and they looked visibly significantly smaller
- the measurements they ask you to use to get appropriately sized glasses don't account for the complete size of your head temple to temple. They account for pupil distance, arm/temple length, lens size, nose bridge size.

The ordering process is very easy and usually when I'm in need of glasses, I want them quick. Everywhere else I order takes at least 2 weeks. I love that your lenses are affordable and come quickly.

Easy to order and prescription was on point. Price was amazing!

I bought from another site for a while but sent half my orders back because the QC was zero. They sent me pair from which the lenses had completely separated from the frame. I was paying twice what I'm paying here. I cannot get the quality of these glasses. I'm honestly floored.
I have a progressive prescription and they nailed it.

I needed to exchange my glasses that I had just ordered from Eyebuydirect. They were for computer/reading but the frames were too big for me to look over the top! I wasn't sure how to return them so I called them and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they answered my call and that the info was very easy to follow! I'm very pleased with the company and am ordering another pair of glasses to take the place of the first pair ordered!

It was fairly straightforward to find a new pair of glasses frames and enter my prescription details. The provided visualization tool was very helpful. The printable pamphlet to determine pupillary distance was also useful.

There is variety of eyeglasses that you can choose, including Brand names!

I can tell the difference between EBD glasses and some of the other glasses I've had in terms of quality, but for the price, it's a great deal, and being able to afford multiple pair has really saved me time and time again.

I'm always happy with eyebuydirect, I've only had one issues & they offered to replace the glasses, but I was too lazy to ship them back & pick a new pair. They are amazing.

I just purchased a pair of frames I already have with better lenses. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do. I'm replacing another pair that I liked but were too small. I would have exchanged them for the larger size, but they were not in stock. If I could change them out for a different color that would be great.

Bought 6 glasses for myself and my daughter. The frames and lenses were exactly as ordered and better than expected. I had some trouble with one set of lenses and I called customer service, with a few questions, they sent me a new pair with a slightly different lense. Very quick and painlessness! Thank you!

Ordered a recent pair of prescription glasses. They got here super quick! They're comfortable and cheap! While also having good quality for the price.
I definitely recommend this site for anyone needing a pair of glasses.

$70 for no spring hinges and cheap metal? Fine. $95 and now even up to like $120? These frames haven't been updated in a decade, which is fine (and why I buy!) but why are we charging this much? There is absolutely something wrong when I'm buying used frames off of eBay instead of from EBD because it's cheaper when the hinges inevitably break on my glasses. And I can't even send the good frames BACK for new lenses. EBD was the everyman's place to go for glasses, but now it's just too expensive.
