Find my GlassesUSA review. This experience was entirely different. I received my order yesterday. 8 days after my order was placed. The frames were not what I expected. I called eyebuydirect.com and requested a return per their policy. No challenge what so ever! The simple fact that I had a human answer and an immediate resolution made all the difference. By the time I hung-up, I had a prepaid, emailed shipping label without any corporate straight-arm nonsense runaround like my terrible GlassesUSA's experience.

Shout out to Eyebuydirect! I purchased a pair of glasses at the end of October. I loved everything about them - style, quality, prescription, price. A few days ago, I tripped and face-planted on a stone step. In addition to breaking my nose, I broke my glasses. I contacted Eyebuydirect, explained what happened, and wanted to see if I might get a discount or something on a replacement pair. Instead of a discount, they are sending me a replacement pair FOR FREE (minus shipping). If that's not the best customer service, I don't know what is. Their kindness has made this awful situation a bit more bearable.
Was a little irritated when ordering as I picked 10 pairs and at checkout was told I could only order 6 because it was my first order. This caused two shipping charges. Called customer service and they could not help or see my cart due to it being my first order. I usually order from Clearly but like the frames with EyeBuyDirect better at this time. Maybe Clearly in the end will have better service. We'll see.
Prices are good but slightly more than Clearly.
Update: I went to order the glasses over two orders and i had to pay two shipping charges AND it was to cost $40 more for same order.

I gave EyeBuyDirect a shot and spent $450 on RayBan prescription glasses. Excited, I opened the box and tried them on. They appeared fine for longer distance but when I tried to read my laptop everything became distorted. The left side appeared six inches wider than the right. I wrote customer service asking for a refund, instead they had me take pictures of my head. It took about six iterations before they said they had all they needed. Two weeks later the replacement glasses arrived. The image was still distorted. Overall, a very negative experience and will never buy anything from them again.
This company is a scam and has customer service that lie to customers about the delivery date and speed of their service. Then when this is brought to attention the do nothing to make it right. Avoid...
My order showed that it was shipped on 9/25 but USPS showed it was not in possession of the package. I contacted their chat, who told me that yes, the package had indeed been shipped, told me to wait then cut off the chat. I contacted them again, that person basically told me the same thing, told me wait until 10/2 (for 3-5 day shipping) and also cut off the chat. I contacted them on their contact form, they replied the same as the chat. My glasses weren't actually shipped until the 26th when USPS shows they received the package.
I can't say enough about how pleasantly surprised I was by the quality of my frames & the price is beyond compare to other websites! I got three pairs of frames that I absolutely love, for the cost of 1 on another website & at a local store! I was told 7 to 14 days for shipping and received my glasses in 8 days!
At first I was worried about putting the correct info in the online RX form so I called customer service for help. They were very patient and kind in walking through filling out the online forms. I love the virtual try on of the glasses I wanted. I ended up buying the "Generous" along with the premium progressive package along with "transitions xtractive" gray premium lenses with the 1.67 index with water resistant UV protection. The total came to $388.95 but received a 30% off so total ended up being $296.08. That is a great deal especially when my total at the optometrist office was going to charge me $745 for the same stuff. It took about a week and half to get them. I could not be more happy with my glasses. The minute i go outside, they darken which was important to me. I love the minimal rimless glasses look. The only thing I do not like too much about my new glasses is the silver parts seem to stand out more then i would like on my face. Next time i will go with a pink or rose parts that will stand out less. Over all very happy with these glasses.Love the fact that i can virtually try on the glasses...love it...you made it easy.thank you.
Ordered a new pair of glasses for my husband. He loves them. The only issue we had was the week he had to wait but that wasn't their fault, it was his fault for breaking his other pair.
Beware when you want to return something. Do the full refund, DO NOT do a replacement. If the replacement doesn't fit, or isn't what you wanted, you are stuck with it and get no refund from your first order or the replacement. Horrible customer service, this place is a scam.
My progressive prescription eyeglasses were promptly refunded when I asked because the Segmental Height of my lenses were wrong, which reflects good customer service. For a separate pair of Rx sunglasses, which I liked and was keeping, I tried to post a thorough review of the frames, complete with photos of the frames alone and with me wearing them. I attempted several submissions, but realized that they went to a review process. It wasn't a negative review, but I didn't gloss over either. It was meant to be helpful so I pointed out some negative aspects. Ultimately, my review was never posted. I wonder how many other honest reviews are rejected. You cannot trust the onsite reviews.
I bought these frames a year or two ago. I was just sitting here and the left side of my frames cracked. I chatted with someone, but since it was over a year, I can't return/refund them but they gave me a 30 percent off. That isn't going to help me. There obviously something wrong with them if the frames just crack while sitting on your face.
I have ordered from zenni for years and never once had a problem with them giving me the wrong prescription. I decided to try eyebuydirect based on reviews; mistake. I ordered four pairs of glasses and they were all the wrong script, not to mention the thickness of the cheaper lenses is twice the thickness (which means heavier) of the ones I got from zenni for less cost. They agreed to take them back (thank you very much) in exchange for the correct ones (i'm still waiting to see if they will get it right this time). Then they tell me they are out of one of the frames, so I request money back on that pair, to which they refunded 2 dollars from a 34$ frame and another few dollars for the lenses, arriving at this number based on the revaluing everything I ordered,and coming up with some way of subtracting the various costs and discounts in some way that was not based on the original purchase order. Have found the whole process a major pain and am very disappointed, especially since the glasses come from china in the first place. Back to zenni for me

I bought a pair of progresses glasses around April of 2023. When the glasses arrived I had some problems with blurry distance vision. I called customer service and they said they would be glad to replace them but asked if I could take them back to the shop where I got the prescription to have them checked. They also asked if I could have my eyes examined again. I did both. The glass were ground correctly to my prescription. My eye exam showed that I had a different prescription from the one I got from the same shop back in March. I don't think my eyes have changed so it must have been a mistake in the prescription provided back in March. Eyebuydirects customer service wrote an order to redo my glasses even though it wasn't their fault. In the process I upgraded to the premium progressive lenses. Great company, great customer service!
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
