I purchased a suit from Express Clothing in Roosevelt Field mall in Westbury/ Garden City NY as a gift. So I removed the tags and boxed it as a gift. The suit did not fit the person so i attempted to return and I returned within the allotted time frame on the receipt.
They did not, with a condescending tone, allow me to return the suit which was in perfect condition

I was and A-List member for many years and purchased nothing but Express clothing for everything. Suits, Jeans, Dress Shirts, T-Shirts, Underwear, Socks, Ties, Watches, and Sunglasses. The designers for Express have really changed the styles that I cannot order anything but solid black t-shirts and underwear. Get back to what made Express the leader of professional clothing. -Andy
Returning a blouse that did not fit as it should have was a major hassle and will deter me from shopping at Express.com again. The blouse was cut weird and was not flattering at all. It did not look like the picture when it went on. I spoke to customer service when I couldn't find the instructions to return it. The rep told me I could go to a store to return it to avoid having $7 deducted from the purchase price. I traveled to 2 stores for the return both turned me away saying I had to mail it back because the customer service rep I spoke to had already processed it for mail back return.
Bought a dress, substandard material, snagged on everything. No return or exchange, yes I got 1 wearing, however even with dry cleaning can't wear it again. I've shopped at express for years. Never again!
Used to order from them a bit but never again. Horrible experience. I felt scammed by my online order. I'm Canadian and bought a $800 dollar suit and they never even shipped it! Took forever to try and get a refund and then they didn't refund me the full amount. I was still paying $200 in shipping for something they never even shipped out! I contacted the delivery company with my tracking number and they never even received my package other than the info for delivery. Took like 4 times with customer service to finally get a full refund and now I still have to wait 2 week for that to process. So for a month they took $800 for no reason.
I went to express store in Potomac mills, Virginia. I wanted to buy some jeans that were 39.99 and50% off from that will be 19.99. The manager is the one that ranged me and my total was 27.99. It did not make sense so I questioned it. And he did not like me questioning him. He said that somebody else has changed the tags yesterday. The pants are supposed to be 54.99. So I'm trying to tell him that the whole line of jeans back there is 39.99, its not just these pants. But he want even listen. He kept cutting me off and was very rude while talking to me in front everybody else. I felt so embarrassed. I will never go back to shop from that store for this experience. Though, the only thing I regret is not getting his name.
They are horrible. It was the worst online shopping experience ever. I placed an $400 order and I received a thank you note with the order number and surprisingly found the day after that haven't received an order confirmation email and it doesn't show on my account and some of my items are sold out can't get it anymore. All what they are doing is saying sorry it didn't go through. Wasted my time and won't waste my money with express again.
Wow, the most costly order ever to return and still do not have my refund yet! The prices did not add up from the original order as they do not tell you about the "International shipping charge" of $37 USD. Then to return I had to use UPS another $48 CAD to me. Refund not processed, I had to call again to make this happen and still need to wait 3 - 5 days for the refund... which will now be about 1 month since it was returned. Do not order from this company. I returned something to Venus the same day, much cheaper freight cost to their return center, it was processed immediately and an exchange even sent immediately. Just avoid this place! Cost me over $100 CAD for nothing. And nothing is free!
Not happy with this courier service still waiting for my item mobility scooter I ordered on the 10th of March it's saying into in Carmarthenshire sorting centre since 7th April not good service would not recommend them
Worst website ever, couldn't load product then it didnt honor its BOGO's or sales, no codes, the only reason I am giving them 2 stars is I love their jeans and they fit me perfectly, but beyond that they are losing major sales with me because their website is horrible!
I am a long term customer. I could give a blow by blow of the poor customer service I got over the last few days, but I'll spare you. The company clearly doesn't care whether a customer stays or leaves. I've been doing business there forever. I'm not one of those that gets upset over something minor and yells from the rooftops "I'll never do business there again"… but I'll never do business there again lol. I had the smallest of issues… was just going to let it go. I should have. And moves on and been happy… but I thought it was so easy to resolve, that they would wish to. I was wrong. Two hours of my life and a lot of frustration on my part and disrespect on their part… so I'm done. And they don't care. If I ever treated my customers like this, I would have been out of business 40 years ago
My wife bought me these jeans late last year. They have been worn a handful of times before the waist seam started coming apart and a weird thing started happening in when washed and dried with my Levi jeans...
After contacting Express to let them know they were only interested in me finding my receipt when clearly these are fairly new Express jeans...
I'm writing this because this is my second encounter with the same person and she was so rude! The first time was month ago and I asked to go to the changing room she was rude about it and I thought It's little late she is tiered and it's ok. I decide to buy 5 items and when I got to the register of course she was the one who was checking me out her attitude and her ton of her voice IS NOT acceptable! In any situation Yesterday 3/24/22 I went back to the same store Southlake mall IN and the girl description blonde long hair@1:45pm the same girl from the other day was there! She didn't let me try anything on saying Covid restrictions (we know that's not true) and I said I'll get this jeans they are buy one get one 50%off she said they are not included in the offer plus when I said there I sign on the table call someone to check it or I can show you she said simply NO What a joke I work in customer service all my life and I will never treat anyone like she treated me. I spend two thousand dollars or more every *******@Express and I don't deserve to be treated with disrespect. Express! Training your employees to respect your costumes should be number 1 on your list.

…you want to be bothered by constant emails that, apparently, you cannot truly unsubscribe from. I've never bought anything from Express and yet they constantly send emails to me. I've "unsubscribed" countless times but continue to receive their trash advertising emails. This tells me that Express is not a trustworthy company and they represent all that is bad in US business practices. Commercial Terrorism!
I purchased an overcoat online at the Express January 31. As of February 5, I still have not had an email confirm it shipped. Called customer service 3 times with a bogus reason it was stuck in shipment at a store. Another representative said it has not been shipped at the distribution center. Bottom line is this the most horrible shopping experience. You expect to call customer service with a resolution. They email the point of contact instead of calling to ship the item. First time order from the Express and last time. I'm getting a refund. I'm over it! Stay away from online ordering at the Express.
They canceled some of my items after I already made the order and paid shipping so I had to pay the same shipping for less items and they wouldn't reimburse me
I placed an order online, can't get anyone to help me get a return label. Can'y evern get it online. They make it hard on purpose to make returns, sad company. I will NEVER bu ytyour products again. Too many other grat companies that will honor their return poliucy.
I placed an online order 3 times the item was never available, it's was out stock. Why their website dont reflect they actual inventory baffled me. This a big company that can't even keep a record of their items they selling. I called them regarding the status of my order 5 times at least and they told me that their website is updated every Monday. What kind of bull is that. Why put an item on your $#*!... website if you don't have.
