I purchased two pair of pants and when I checked my bank statement I had a charge from Albuquerque and I live in York pa. The charge they say was a glitch in there system which drained my account and gave me overdraft fees and I'm still trying to solve this problem. I didn't even get a apology or and explanation other then I was not the only person effected by this. I will never shop there again.
I loved Express jeans, but I never bought them I only got them as a gift and I went in to buy some because my pair were starting to fall apart. When I got in there I found two pair I loved and I went up to buy them and the lady said it was $125 and I was shocked so I asked to take off one and I still had to pay alot, but that does not make me pissed off. What makes me pissed is that they did not even tell me that they were going to have a sale the very next day for all jeans half off! In my opinion that is poor customer service if the manager won't even tell you something to make your experience better. I do that all the time at my job. I feel so manipulated I do not even know if I want to go their to get my jeans ever aga in if they do not care about the customer.
I live in Canada. This company is boasting same price in US and Canada, and the price in Canada local store is the same as on their website (which means for example the same shirt is priced CAD 59.99 in store and USD 59.99 online). I made an online purchase thinking the price is in CAD and I even used a coupon ($25 off $75 Purchase). It was only until I received my credit card statement that I realized I was charged USD instead of CAD. Considering the current low CAD and the huge exchange fee, I was actually charged 30% more. I contacted their customer service and they kept saying their website price is USD. This is ridiculous, which idiot in Canada (perhaps except me) would make a purchase on their website, paying USD when actually the price in local store is much cheaper. This is a ridiculous compancy.
I went in because I just turned 16, and my boyfriend thought that it was a good time to take me shopping, we went to the new gate mall because it's the easiest from where we live, and we thought that I could try some white skinny jeans, and I'm reading alot of good reviews but I went in and asked a tall skinny girl with long brown hair and she gave me a discussing look and said, yeah, but I'm not sure if they have it in 'your' size. Long story short, never shopping there again
Standing in a long line with only one cashier. I asked another clerk who was folding items if she could help. "we are short staffed" in an unapologetic tone. I like the clothing but the customer service is lacking. Poor customer service always leaves a lasting impression.
This was my first time purchasing from express.com. I ordered an item in a specific color which they didn't have available in any of the local Express stores. The merchandise itself was superb and very flattering. I would have given this online merchant a 5 star review... however, I wasn't too impressed with the mysterious "International Processing Fee" that was added to my order amount. I've never encountered anyyyyyyyyyyy online retail merchant that would charge this unheard of extra fee. Ever. Sure looks like an easy way of charging extra hidden fees to me. Shame on u express.com.
I bough the editor pants size 4 at the store in mall of Georgia. Came back later to returned and the man told me can not return because the tag belong to the short or something. Unbelievable, and after that he took of the tag from my pants and threw it away. So RUDE, never seen anyone like that before in that store
I recently bought a pair of dress pants from the store at Easton town center with the intent of returning at a later date and purchasing the matching jacket. Come to find out that my body type (muscular) doesn't fit their jackets correctly. No one informed me when I bought the pants that I wouldn't be able to fit in the jacket, even though I thoroughly explained my intentions. None of the employees cared that I was out the money for the pants, and no one tried to help me solve this problem. If you have a more muscular figure then I strongly suggest you stay away from this store.
Love express! Their cloth are stylish and affordable.
My only suggestion is knowing your size before you make a purchase. Go to a physical store and try it out, after you know your size, ordering on express.com is really easy and they ship fast.

I ordered a sweater that was delivered when I was it of town. By the time I'd returned a few days later, the package was nowhere in sight. It had been left at my front door rather than our secure package closet. Express sent me another sweater free of charge without an issue. Excellent customer service, responded promptly to my complaint, and wound up with the sweater I loved!
Don't order anything on this website! I placed an order and they charged me $40 more than the amount on the receipt. I only noticed after I received my credit card statement. I called and emailed them and they gave me some weird story of how when an order is placed they put more money on hold in the account than the total. It made no sense but they assured me that my money would be in my credit card within a few days. I went on vacation after that and assumed (my mistake) that they would do as they promised. I recently checked, 4 months after speaking to them, and the money still hasn't been returned to my account. So my advice would be to not shop on this website. If you do, then I would strongly advice you to check your statement afterwards. And if there is some wrongdoing, to immediately notify your financial institution instead of wasting your time talking to the service representatives. Plus shipping took forever. Overall extremely bad experience. I wish I could give them 0 stars.
Express cloth are a nice fit for me (hence the 2nd star).
But shipping to Canada cannot be slower than this. I placed my order on december 31 and we are now january 15th and the package is not in Canada yet. UPDATE: received on january 21.
They say 6-8 business day when you checkout. Yeah, right. More like 13-15.
My complaint involves shopping online. I just purchased a pair of leopard print heels on clearance that I was super excited to receive. I ordered them in size 7.5, which it stated online that they were only available in sizes 7,7.5, and 8. So why do I receive them, and all the tags say 7.5, but the inside of the shoe says 9?! So they are clearly a size 9, and my feet practically fall out of them. How asinine is that? How do you place the wrong tags on the wrong size shoe? What kind of bums do they have working for them? Yes, I can take them back to the store to receive a refund, because I clearly won't get them in the correct size, being on clearance... but a) what a hassle, and b) I believe I speak for everyone when I say, it sucks being excited to receive merchandise online, and it comes to you completely wrong. WTF, get it together Express! That's bull$#*!!
Ordered from them online on the 12/01/14 and paid extra for two day shipping. It is now the 6th and i haven't received any of my items. I emailed express to get a refund of my $15 on the 5th since they didn't arrive in that time frame and i am still waiting on my items. Here is my order confirmation in case they see this email before they respond to the one i sent them yesterday on the 5th. *******

My favorite cheap yoga pants on express. They fit nicely, and the length is pretty perfect. The quality isn't great, but I wouldn't expect it to be at their price. Good for a run. Good for a bike. Good for wearing under a cute dress to make changing for the gym easier on those days you don't really feel like going to the gym.
I love my hoodie... it's very comfy and fits perfectly! Super soft, great hood size and I wish there were more colors with logos, and I like it cause you can throw it on to run outside. It runs pretty much true to size.
If I was rating the store, I'll probably rate five stars, but the website can use some upgrade, the picture can be better, and I totally hated it when once I had to submit an order so fast because I had the last item, they do not reserve the item if it was on you cart, not even for 15 min! That is a shame, so after submitting the order I received an e-mail that the item was no longer in stock! So let me put it like that I love shopping here because I like the stuff and every now and then there is a great sale going on and coupons so can't complain about the prices cause I never pay full prices, would choose to shop in the store unless I don't find a certain item, or there is a special offer and I don't have the time to go shop in the store, love that I can return the items in the store this is an important fact for me, so it's a love hate relation for me haha
