I ordered 3 things on Nov 28 with a free shipping and my order has not shipped yet. They said they will upgrade the shipping... upgrade the shipping? For what? I need you to cancel my order and give me my money back! I hope that upper management reads this forum and actually do something about their customer service and their shipping dept. Seriously, you guys should be ashame of yourselves.

I have ordered two shirts 2 weeks ago amd haven't received any email from them after sending 100 emails to them. I never knew its such a horrible customer service. You guys actually suck. I feel like swearing on you guys. I mean I am so annoyed with your service. I will never recommend anyone to shop from this website. As bastards and fools work here

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
December 2, 2016

Ordered two sweaters in mid October. Never received them after two weeks so I emailed customer service. I was told that they were back ordered (with NO PRIOR NOTIFICATION) and that it could take up to four weeks. Fast forward almost EIGHT WEEKS NOW and I contact customer service again. I am told my order has been cancelled yet they still have a hold placed on my checking account. I received NO NOTIFICATION or anything. And to top that off, Chaz one of the reps, tried to accuse me of making up dates when I have electronic email proof! UNBELIEVABLE. I have shopped at express for about 5 years now and spend about $1000 every 6 months and I can assure you I will never patronage this retail store again.

I've been shopping at Express for at LEAST a decade, and in the past year, the customer service there has gone to the dogs. They seriously make it SO difficult to place an order. Their app malfunctions ALL THE TIME, forcing me to call CS if I want to place an online order. Once I'm talking to a rep, they refuse to apply coupons... VALID COUPONS FROM EXPRESS. I get that clearance and other excluded items don't apply to coupons, but that is not the case with what I try to buy. Don't even get me started on the Birthday Coupons they send! When I called, EXPRESS REFUSED TO PUT IT TOWARDS MY ORDER. Happy Birthday indeed, why even send it out? Oh and another time, the CS on the phone accidentally used one of my Express Next coupons, and said she would post another to my account since it wasn't intended to be used on that order... yea, never saw that.

I've had nothing but horrible experiences at Express this year. If a company makes it THAT difficult for me to spend my money, then I wont. I refuse to shop here anymore. Unless you have unlimited amounts of patience, and don't care about coupons, do not shop here.

CRAPPY AND NO RESPONSES
November 30, 2016

I have purchased a jacket on their website during a sale. It's been close to a week since I have paid. There have been no responses through emails I have sent to them. Their promises of shipping my order is a complete joke. THEIR CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS AWFUL AND THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I could go on for at least 30 minutes. Summarizing why NOT TO WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON EXPRESS CLOTHING... but I value my time and getting the word out there will suffice. Here is a break down why to take your business elsewhere.
-The quality is worse than Walmart and Goodwill. Actually, it doesn't even compare.
***THREE clothing items that had to be returned from ONE order!
Because of this, I had to reorder and be double charged while waiting to get things straightened out.
In the mean time. Its been TWO WEEKS and the money has not been returned to my debit card.
Between phone calls, emails, and store visits, not to mention stress... AT LEAST a DAY OF MY LIFE. Seriously at least 24 hours I will never get back from this experience.
I didn't get my work clothes for a new job in time and I will NEVER EVER EVER buy from these poor clothing quality people again.
I dont want to be seen wearing Express clothing. I can't represent this company.

Bad customer service
November 26, 2016

Express had an online sale for buy one get 2nd half off. I added the items to the shopping cart and started the checkout process but once i was at the last step to pay the total price was full price and did not account for the current sale that was going on. I re-did the order thinking it was just a weird online glitch. But same thing happened. I called and was told by the customer service rep to go ahead and place the order paying full price and to call back in 45 minutes and ask for the order to be adjusted for a refund for the sale. I said this doesnt seem right and asked if i could place the order by phone. He was annoyed of the extra work he would have to do but slowly took his time. At the end same thing happened he asked for the full price and i had to remind him of the sale. He put me on hold for a while and came back to say hes adjusting order to match the online sale. Finally the total was correct buti was leary to give him my card information. Order ended up being correct but as a customer you should feel comfotable/safe placing an order and i didnt.

Still haven't gotten my jacket I ordered 10 days ago. They just sent me a tracking # but it says ready to leave on Saturday so it hasn't even left yet and if you add the actual travel time of my item I won't get it till next Friday if I'm lucky. I bought it for the weather we just had this past 2 weeks not the freezing cold that's coming now so probably not even gonna be able to wear it by then since this is a thin jacket. Very pissed off actually. I shop often online and never had this problem with other stores.And if there's an issue they let me know right away, but Express hasn't send me anything after I made my purchase. I had to keep calling them asking what was the story till finally today the lady told me it has finally been shipped and will arrive on Saturday which she was wrong because it's actually ready to be shipped on Saturday and no, im not getting it on Saturday. 1st and last time ordering from them! Not a happy customer and reading the rest of the reviews now I know I'm not alone. Worst shopping experience online, never again!

Joke service from EXPRESS

I order a jacket from EXPRESS two weeks ago; to be clear, a full 10 work days have passed, My order has not even left the US. The product is to be shipped to Australia. In addition, i paid $US 25 for shipping. I think express keeps 20 and pays some shonky 'contractor' 5 dollars to bring it here. EXPRESS will waste your time; and in the end, your money. DON'T SHOP EXPRESS

Terrible

I have always shopped at express, but normally just in store. I bought something that was on sale and even payed for 2 day shipping. After 5 days I still heard nothing other than a confirmation email that my order WAS placed, I decided to call them. I get on the phone was first a man who hung up on me, then a very rude woman who told me my order was cancelled because it was out of stock, and acted like I was dumb for not knowing that. I emailed them saying how upset I was, they told me they could honor that price for me if I wanted to buy something else, so I did buy something else, and the guy said that he could only honor me for the BOGO price, which was 20 dollars more than I payed. I told him I wanted to cancel the order, no email back and then 2 days later I get an email saying it's shipped. So upset. Worst online AND customer experience of my life.

I'm sad I even have to give them a 1 for their customer service. I received an order confirmation code after placing a large online order during the 40% off sale. After waiting a week for my order to be shipped to me, I finally emailed them where they told me they couldn't find the order. Instead of honoring the coupon and replacing my order in which they never fully processed by their own fault, I was told there's nothing they can do. I have never ordered from such an incompetent, greedy company before. So, instead of ordering my work clothes from express, I will be ordering from other companies instead; companies who can adequately fulfill an online order and provide excellent customer service because express falls short by a long shot.

They sent you coupon and when you final selection and try use coupon where it's says valid online and in store they refuse to accept those coupon and top of that they sent birthday coupon which is valid until end of month and they go oh sorry we can't take those. Bull$#*! vested my time to visit and see those little punk

I ordered a pair of shoes and a shirt. Mind you the shoes was something I really wanted and was the last pair in a size 5. The package came on time as expected which had my correct name and address. However, upon opening the package the items that I had received were someone else's order which leaves me to wonder how people can mess up simple things like that. I called Express to let them know that me and this other person's orders were most likely switched and asked if they can do something about it. The person I talked to seemed careless about it and said they couldn't do anything except give me a refund for the shoes since they didn't have it anymore in stock. So disappointed with Express.

I did an online purchase of almost 150 dollars in clothing and It was the worst experience and customer service I have ever experienced! NEVER ORER ANYTHING ONLINE FROM EXPRESS.
1. My delivery does not come by the expected date, So I call express and they inform me that something went wrong during shipping and everything was sent back. The error was fixed and I should be getting my package "over night" due to their error.
2. Package never came. I call again and Express tells me that the items were on back order but should be there in the next 5-7 business days.
3. Package NEVER CAME. I call AGAIN to cancel my order and get my money back. But they tell me that it is already in the mail and I cannot cancel my order and get my money back. SO I ask the expected delivery.
4. The package comes and ONLY 1 item out of 5 was shipped. Not to mention, the necklace was BROKEN
5. I call AGAIN. They tell me they did not have the clothing items in my size and it was on back order. I express my frustration and "Lorenzo" tells me I will get reimbursed for the whole order including the broken necklace.
6. Only a portion of the money get put in my account, so I CALL AGAIN. They tell me it is because I used a gift card for the rest and if I want another gift card. I tell them NO. I NEVER want to purchase anything from express again. So they agree to put everything on my card.
7. Money is still not on my card. I CALL AGAIN. It is because the card info down is wrong... I give my correct card info and they Proceed to put not even HALF of what they own me.
8. So I CALL AGAIN and they tell me the issues is reported to management and they will get back to me.

I still have not got my money back! I will NEVER shop at Express again. This has been the worst experience I have every had. I talked to a new person every time I call and had to explain the situation from the beginning all 8 Times!

I usually love Express, but I have been trying to order new colors of Portifino shirts for weeks. There are only around 5 colors on line available. I need some new similar shirts ASAP. I am going to have to go shopping elsewhere. Express has always has always plenty of color options to order in these shirts. I am disappointed. Will they be available soon?

I live in Canada. Ordered 2 shirts because you spend $50 you get free shipping. It kept saying my address was wrong so I called and they couldn't do my order because I'm in canada(update your stuff honestly) so we had to go through a million things to make it work. Then I order, $67 my total comes to. Fine, perfect. Loved the look of the tops! Now I go check my bank account they took $90! UNBELIEVABLE! So I email customer service because it was never changed and I firmly believe I should have only paid $67 because that's what it said it was. And the store in square one (Toronto) was the same price as these tags state but they didn't have my size- imagine that. If they had my size I wouldn't have this ordeal! So they tell me I should have paid $87 with the currency exchange. But I had to pay some bulls*** international fee also that I've never even seen before! They are CROOKS! I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN! After reading the horrible reviews trying to return online orders I don't even want to send t back because I probably won't even get my money back and I'll have 0 clothes too! DONT BUY FROM THEM EVER! ESPECIALLY CANADIANS!

I ordered from Canada and Express.com did not correctly write down my address on the shipping documentation!
Obviously, I never received my order. Express.com only reimbursed me for the items value. I had to pay for Shipping & Handling and International Processing Fee while this situation happened because of Express.com. Not even mentioning that I also had to pay for my bank's exchange rate and international fees. This is not acceptable as I should not pay for Express.com's mistake!

Update, 1 week later:
Express did contact me and offer me a full refund. Too bad it was such a hassle in the first place. I have updated my review from 2 to 4 stars, as at least I'm not out the money.

Original Review:
I was happy to use the online order system, searching was fast and easy. However, when I discovered that my shipping address did not match my billing address, I contacted them immediately to change my shipping address. Mere seconds after placing my order, I was told it was "too late" to make any changes. The sale was final, even though I'd never see me shipment. I contacted them again, asking them to cancel the shipment and refund me, but they once again said I'd need to return the package to receive a refund. I guess I'm just out $140, until I dispute this with my credit card.
