I ordered 11 items during the Black Friday sale, some of my items got cancelled but the rest was supposed to be on its way to me in Canada. I had a tracking number but it seems that it never made its way out of Ohio. On Dec 20, they told me they received my return. Looks like the package was rerouted back to them. What a disappointment. Come Boxing Day, I decided to try again. Due to their Boxing Day mistake, they said they would give me free overnight shipping. 2 weeks went by, my order was still pending. So I called customer service, they said my entire order was on back order which is impossible. All 15 items unavailable? I looked online and some items were still available. The service rep told me to just cancel my order because the order will automatically cancel itself after 2 weeks or so. The service rep was not very understanding at all. I've ordered from Express before with shipping to Canada earlier last year and they had no troubles... Sigh. Very disappointed.
I would never order again I waited 70 days for skirt it never cam so I called to re-order and it still never came called the company it was never reordered now out of stock and can't get that skirt at all they suck employees shouldn't lie!
Love their clothes and have been shopping online with them for years but in the last 6 mos. The quality of their shipping time, return processing time and customer service has seriously declined. I have never had a good customer service experience when speaking to someone over the phone and email is iffy. I am boycotting for the next 6 mos. And then give them another chance to improve down the line.
I placed an order on December 17th 2016 for 10 items and on December 20th I received an email stating over half of my items were cancelled. I called customer service and they were able to reorder five of my items because they were still available online. On December 22nd I received another email stating that the items I placed on the 20th were cancelled yet again. I called customer service and some how two of those items were still available and the customer service representative could not understand why my items were cancelled several times. I am very disappointed at express warehouse and how they could not handle the order volume they received due to the sell they had. Why after I place my order and get a confirmation number to be told two-three days later that my order been cancelled? It's the holiday season and I planned on giving those gifts to family members. I did not have time to go out shopping to extra gifts at that time. I am very disappointed at how express handled their ordering procedures especially during the holiday season. Maybe express should contact toys r us or Walmart to figure out how to handle such a large ordering volume since they were not able to keep up with orders and inventory.
I ordered 4 pairs of dress pants online at the beginning of November. I decided to return two pairs and instead of mailing, I took them back to the store. I stood there for 10 minutes while the girl called in to process my return over the phone. I then was handed my original recept back with a confirmation # scribbled on it. I had not received any other kind of receipt, not asked to sign anything, etc. Finding that odd, I called a few days later to see if my return had credited to my account. After waiting on the line for a long while, I was told by the representative that she couldnt look up my account bc the computers were down. I called a few days later after still not seeing the return credited to my account, the gentleman told me it takes 3-5 business days to process and that I was only on day 3-4 (even though it had been well over a week). It is now weeks later, still no refund. I sent an email through the message center and got an automated response back explaining they hadn't received my mailed items yet. I wrote back and explained I did not mail my return, they sent me the SAME EXACT response in reply with someone elses name signed to the bottom. Just like talking to a robot! I have now been on hold with customer service waiting for a representative for the PAST 32 MINUTES!
Don't bother to buy online clothes in this store Express.com because it will take longer to ship than you expected. I placed an order last friday Dec. 23rd for 2nd day shipping. But when I opened my email to look for the tracking number for my order it said estimated delivery Dec. 29th. Very disappointed because I'm expected to deliver it today Wednesday.Won't buy clothes to this company again either in store or online..
I placed an order online late November for two items - a jacket and a peacoat; paid for overnight shipping.
Received order confirmation via email on 12/1. I followed up with customer service a few days afterwards since I didn't receive a tracking number or shipping confirmation email. Brittney told me on 12/10 that due to the Black Friday/Cyber Monday rush, orders were backlogged and that my shipping would be reimbursed and upgraded (not possible, overnight was what I chose already). I did however, receive another email shortly thereafter that had my shipping costs deducted from my original order.
12/11 - Received an email stating that my order had been cancelled because the two items were no longer available, and to contact customer service. I call, and was told that only one of the two items I wanted was in stock, so I have the rep place a new order for just that one item.
12/12 - Order cancelled, again. I call customer service, again, and apparently there was one size left of that peacoat that I originally wanted still showing up in their system (so why was my order cancelled this second time around?). I end up having the rep place another order, for the same item, third time. I also submit a complaint via their website.
12/13 - Shanea replies via email to my complaint in what I still think was in a condescending manner, without addressing the issue or what I stated, which was my deserving store credit or something similar. I placed the order pretty much a month ago, when ALL sizes for those two items were in stock online (before the rush), was delayed and ultimately cancelled on three separate times, and was given nothing besides a simple "sorry and have a nice day" runaround.
12/19 - last email from Express; third order attempt cancelled.
Long story short, avoid shopping with them online. I've been an Express Next member for over four years but I'm over it - this wasn't the first or second time that they screwed up my order for whatever reason.
I ordered a Christmas gift on November 28th it's now December 24th and it still hasn't arrived :( they sent me an email stating my items shipped and they were upgrading my shipping to 2 day shipping on December 10th and even gave me a tracking number. When I look up the tracking number it shows that it hasn't even reached a ups store yet. Now I won't have half the presents I ordered for Christmas. Probably won't shop this store ever again because of this.
Never buying online again. I ordered 5 things and only received three. They decided to cancel half my order without emailing me a heads up because items became out of stock. When I bought the items they were in stock so doesn't that mean I reserved that item? Very disappointed with customer service after I called about the situation. They did not know when the items would become available and would not send them to me when they do come back in stock. Just not worth the headache. Save yourself time & effort and spend your money elsewhere.
I purchased over $500 total of 11 items and seams as if they never had to deal with such huge order. I returned 8 of the 11 items because they where all extremely huge. 10 days passes and I received a refund for $75 I called every day for a week and none of the employees bothered to write notes on this order so every time I spend over an hour on the phone with them. Till this day I haven't received my refund. I will never shop with express again.
My husband buy to me a dress last week but the dress first is to small and second when I wanna return Manger on duty say me not bexcuse the dress don't have a tag but I have my receipt she try to call customer service but im waiting for 20 min in the store and nobody help me about this! I wrote a previous review detailing my online order nightmare (see a few reviews down). I have since contacted my bank to dispute the charge. I urge you to do the same if you are experiencing similar issues.
I ordered a jacket for my husband on cyber Monday the 28th still haven't received it and now its the the 15 but the worse of it is that they charged me 3 times on different days.
If ZERO was an option on the review scale I would submit it. I have repeatedly paid extra for 2 day expedited shipping, yet it arrives up to 5 days late. Express tries to refuse refunding the expedited shipping charges, and even stated once they would "make an exception" and refund the charge "just this once"... What? They should refund it every time they don't deliver as contracted. If I pay for 2-day and it arrives in 7 days, I want my shipping charge back.
Many of the items I receive are poorly constructed, unfinished seams, buttons falling off, no lining, just cheap, cheap pieces.
Also, I took an item I received among several in an online order, into a nearby Express to return it, and brought my invoice along. The clerk couldn't find the order in the system and had to call corporate to process the return, saying there was a glitch occurring. I waited 45 minutes while she was on hold. Finally she said I could go, and she would continue trying to reach them, and they could just put it back on my credit card. Wow, you mean you could have told me that from the start, so i didn't stand there for 45 minutes? Two days later she called me saying they had JUST submitted the refund... and ten days later (today) still no refund. I just called Customer Relations to discuss & find out when my money will be returned, and they are "closed early" today. Nice. No one can take my call and there is no voice message option. I have emailed, days ago - no response. I think this company is run by inept teenagers, and this hardworking adult is taking her biz to other professional retailers - back to Nordstrom and Banana Republic; good riddance Express - SO done with your crap.
Ordered online on 12/3\/12. Received confirmation on 12/4/16. Today is 12/12/16 and I can't get any help. I ordered shirts for my son's birthday, which is 12/14. When I call customer service, all the say is that, "we're running a little bit behind." Really? So what would it be, years, if you really behind? Stay away from Express.com. The corporate morons would, evidently, pay for triple-net mall space than cater to those of us who order online. All I can say is this is a case of, "Dumb & Dumber."
My experience with Express has been absolute garbage. They charge $20+ to ship your order to you and then don't even come through on the delivery. I placed my order well over 3 weeks ago and have still not received it. They didn't even ship my order until i wrote and asked for tracking info which was a week after i placed the order. I will never order from this company again and i will warn friends and family to avoid it as well. The customer service absolutely sucks, they are a bunch of teenagers that do not give a crap about the customers.
I placed an online order and when I received the confirmation email my address was incorrect. Called customer service immediately same day to fix address before they start putting my package together. Two days later I receive my tracking and address is still incorrect. Called customer service again and they said they would send me out a new package since the other was being sent back by fedex to the distribution center because the address is missing the street number. They also stated they would overnight it to me and that I'd receive a new tracking email within 24hrs. Never received it. Called again and they have no notes that this other conversation happened and I have to wait until the previous package comes back to the wharehouse before they can put a new package together to ship out. Also I was told hopefully the items I purchased are still in stock. It's been 3 weeks since I placed my order and the 1st package is still in transit back to the distribution center. This has been a very frustrating experience and I hope no one has to go through this. I spent $200+ on this order and it's awful how I've been treated.
Too many other stores to shop at to deal with this horrible company. Never again will I shop at express or any affiliated company.
I ordered a Gift Card for my daughter's birthday. Long story short I have called the company 3 times, the gift card was to be converted to an e-card which they never sent. Every time I communicated with them they NEVER followed through! I was spose to receive it today, no communication and no GC. This is the worst company, I just want this over so I never have anything to do with them again!
I ordered a dress from Express paid for a 2 day shipping by that night they sent me an email stating my order was cancelled. I called to question why, they stated the dress was out of stock, I said miss it is still showing in Stock on the website 24 hours after my order. She stated that the website will show in Stock when the item is out of stock. They also stated that it would take up to 5 business days for my money to return. I will never order from them ever again
