My flight was cancelled. I was told by the airline I had to call explore trip because I booked with them. I was on the phone 30 minutes with a condescending guy who was not helpful at all. He said my flight wasn't cancelled and I was all set to fly out the next day. The airline, however, told me it was cancelled (and it was). So after a great deal of frustration and time he said he would call them and call me back in 10-15 minutes. He didn't. Instead he sent me an email with my SAME flight info. So I called again. I asked both men to talk to a supervisor boss or manager. They ignored it and finally said they don't have any. The next guy also had me on the phone for almost 30 minutes. He was also not helpful. He kept putting me randomly on hold probably hoping I would hang up. Finally, he discovered that my flight WAS cancelled. 31 minutes into my second call. I said oh good so now you guys have figured out what I knew two hours ago. He refused to reschedule me and hung up. Oh, I should mention this was my first flight of a two week honeymoon from the US to itsly. On a teacher salary using this site was all we could afford and we weren't aware of all the problems people have. Thats our mistake, don't let it be yours. We were supposed to fly out tomorrow. Please please do not book on this site. I have never had such a terrible experience.
I purchased tickets from LAX to BKK, and in trying to select specific seats, I contacted the Explore Trip, which kept answering god knows what question since they didn't appear to read my email request. I then contacted the airlines directly, and they said we didn't actually have tickets, even though my credit card was charged. I contacted Explore Trip, and they just kept telling me I had tickets and if there was a problem to call the airlines in CHINA! I explained that might be expensive on my cell phone, and I had to beg to get them to call the airlines in China for me. Finally they said they would, and after being on hold for 20 minutes, they simply let me hear one minute of talk from the airline's automated system and then the phone hung up. So I called again, and repeatedly they said I had a ticket, so I kept arguing and arguing, saying Explore's system might say I have a ticket but the airline's doesn't, and I don't want to end up at the airport without tickets. Finally, the consumer service rep did a deep dive and found out the tickets were void, that they had to reissue new ones for some reason that didn't make sense that they blamed on my credit card company. So now we apparently have tickets, finally. I asked if I could just cancel the tickets because I didn't want to do business with Explore Trip, and they said no way. I mean, there's unprofessional, which these guys are, but then there's just blame incompetent. I've flown to maybe 60 different countries, and this is the worst ticketing company I've ever used.
So I purchased a ticked for my daughter and grand daughter travelling from Edmonton to Toronto. They have canceled my ticket and could not refund the money. It has been horrifying experiences as we bounce back email and phone calls with their agency and no help. I have sent all the requested information to two different emails (*******@exploretrip.con and *******@exploretrip.com) no response. Multiple follow up calls yield nothing! The summoner service representatives are extremely rude. I asked to speak with their supervisor and they put me on hold for hours and yet no one suppervisor... all I want is my money and cannot get it although they have canceled my tickets and they haven't charged my card which is big lie... please do your self a favour and stay away from them.
This company is Joke, I find the ticket, I paid and after 6 hours when they did not sent me e-ticket I called. They said that price change and go up 450 $. Wasting time with them!
My flight was canceled but they never bothered to tell me - I only found out when googling it to see if meals were served and found out it didn't exist, called Exploretrip only to be told, "Oh, the flight is canceled". This was 40 hours before departure. They offered no help, no alternative flights, no support booking another - nothing. I ended up booking another flight myself which cost me an extra $250 USD and I lost a night at a hotel too.
Book tickets with a free cancellation in 24 hours. I cancelled in less than an hour as the departure times were not the best. I called and even got an email confirming my refund, and two expect it in 15 business days. 15 business days later, nothing, called again and they blamed my bank and would issue a check and mail it to me, expect it in 18 business days. 18 business days later, "check was sent but returned due to my mailing address."
This company is not the SF Bay area as advertised on site. Every time you call, you can tell it is an Indian call center. They all have heavy Indian accents and even the emails are in broken English. The SF address is just a scam to make you think it is in the U.S., it is not! Worst travel site ever!

I booked 3 Tickets 7 months before my departure.
I had to cancel 2 tickets 72H before my departure for medical reasons.
I just asked my INVOICE, my confirmation of cancellation by written in a formal letter.
NOTHING YET! Means i m gonna loose my refund from my insurance because ExploreTrip does not give you any INVOICE and any letter stating that you have cancelled your tickets
AVOID THIS COMPANY!
The last thing they even refused to refund me Airport Taxes which are always refunded even if your fare is not refundable.
Stay away not Worth saving few $$ after you gonna loose much more
And to end up i finish my only ticket which i used on a português charter company instead of Corsair!
I found a price on the exploretrip website that was good for a trip I had coming up so I placed the order. I had to call them to correct a credit card issue, so I corrected it and hung up. The gentleman calls me back and says the price that I had was no longer available which was 275.99 but that the price is now over $700.00. I anticipated the price may go up a little but that's just extortion.
So I told him to cancel the order. I went to the airline's website and got the tickets for 281.00,

Everything you read about bad reviews on this website is so true! I booked a flight using cheapflights.ca and somehow the link took me to explore trip! I was quoted Canadain dollars for my one way flight and was charged americian dollars I have phone and talked to Simone, joe Clarence Stephan nick and the list goes on always promising call backs which never exist when you call and demand to talk to the guy that was going to help you out they can never seem to find him. They say he will call you back in ten minutes and never do. I have had my credit card company reverse the charge back to them they will get in touch with them as they want there money. They send about an eight page letter to your credit card company saying it is not a fraud booking include your ip adress and go on and on. When I finally talked to Clarence who I thought was going to help me after much arguing with him that I was charged the wrong price American dollars he told me he could not refund my money until I removed the charge back so like an idiot I removed the charge back and now they will not answer my calls or email. I will phone my creidt card company again and tell them to charge them back the money and to no longer accept any further transactions for these people. I was so worried about my flights even being legit that I phoned the airlines to be sure, they were confirmed but after reading all these reviews on them cancelling flights and charging for them no i am to say the least a little worried about when I check in think I better call the airlines agian! This company should be shut down as they are based in India and I read on a web site if you were going to sue it will be under Indian law! Can not understand why they have a USA based address and are dealing out of India! Stay clear of this company!
It took ages to get connected on the phone and this really pissed me off as I had an urgent trip, whose urgency I had communicated to them via mail. I wonder why they keep one on hold for that long. All the same, I was able to get my flight as desire but after going through a lot of trouble
I purchased unaccompanied minor (UMR) service for my son (17 years old) for his trip on American Airline. I talked an Explore Trip agent and bought the UMR service paying additional $300. When he checked in at the airport, he didn't need it because the UMR service is applicable for the minors, 14 years old or younger. The AA staff asked me to call Explore Trip to get refunded. I called the Explore Trip twice. For the first time, they said they couldn't refund because the trip took place already and they already paid the service fee to AA, asking me to call AA. I called AA again, finding that on my son's record, there was not UMR service arranged. I called Explore Trip again to tell the whole story and the agent forwarded my phone to a different line. Unfortunately, no one answered the phone. The agent asked me to write an email about my son's case and I will be contacted in 48 hours. However, it has been already four days since I emailed them. No response at all. Very irresponsible and unprofessional services. I don't know whether or when I can get refunded. Never use this agent again.
I booked a flight and received a confirmation email that I would receive my eticket in four hours. When I called them the next day because I hadn't received my eticket, they told me they would not be fulfilling their end of the contract we'd entered in to. They did not make any effort to contact me to inform that they would not be fulfilling their duty. Now I have to try to find another flight so I don't miss my cousins wedding. Terrible customer service. Don't book anything through them.

I bought 4 tickets and day before my flight they call me to tell me my flight is not confirmed. Then want me to pay full price again but not with my credit card. They told me to go get a pre loaded gift card from Walmart or Walgreens and tell them the number.And waiting to refund me the money. I scratch my head and i tought no way to be scammed twice, so i called my bank and report fraud and opened a case.No refund yet 45 days later. All the positive reviews are written by them, IF YOU READ THIS NOW, YOU ARE SCAMMED.
If i could give 0 stars I would. Do not do business with this company! Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews before I did try to buy a plane ticket. I needed a ticket to fly to Lisbon from the States. Booked online. Got an email with in minutes with a totally different flight itinerary. One with a 23 hour layover. Called within 30 minutes to cancel. No problem to cancel they said. And we can help you find another flight, the one you want is not available anymore. About $100 more, got another flight. Dan, the sales person "forgot" to cancel the first reservation. Now I have 2 tickets on the same day, different hours but for the same person. 2 charges on my credit card. I asked them to remove the first reservation. They cancelled both, and put them back on the next day. Refused to fix it. I called every day now, several times. No resolution. My credit card company has stopped all payments. HORRIBLE COMPANY!
ExploreTrip and Mondee Inc. are absolutely horrible to work with. I bought my ticket to fly from the West Coast to the East Coast. The trip was scheduled for Thursday night with me arriving Friday morning and leaving to return on Sunday. My Thursday night flight was cancelled. They would not reschedule me for the next day, and if I went on the Saturday I would fly in and have to turn right around and fly back on Sunday. So, basically the roundtrip flight was cancelled. I contacted them immediately, and they were very evasive. They didn't even try to get me on another flight. I contacted my bank and asked to stop payment. ExploreTrip/Mondee shared that they had a cancellation clause... must've been the smallest print ever... and then told the BIGGEST LIE to my bank. They did not say anything about weather cancellations in their policy, just that if you need to change or cancel it is your responsibility to notify them in writing for such a request. But, then they actually LIED, YES LIED, AND TOLD MY BANK "FURTHER, WE SEE THAT THE TICKETS ARE USED BY THE CUSTOMER AND WE DON'T SEE ANY REASON FOR CUSTOMER TO DISPUTE THESE CHARGES WITH HIS BANK". That was an outright lie! I did not EVER use the tickets! I hope what goes around with this company, comes back around and bites them hard! Outright LIARS!
I booked 4 tickets on this site on a Saturday and received a confirmation email within minutes. And three days later, I received another email canceling my reservation. The reason was they could not find me a ticket for the price they agreed to sale me. When I checked their website again, they were selling tickets on the same flight for 40-50 dollars more than I paid. They literally ruined my plan and all the other arrangements I made. My main issue is why they had to wait three days. They could have told me in seconds. Never experienced anything like this.
We booked a trip to France with Exploretrip, and had the worst experience ever. We had layovers in Canada, and had booked with our passport numbers, so they KNEW one of our passports was French -- well it turns out that Canada now requires a special authorization number to be obtained online for people who don't hold US or Canadian passports and transit through Canada. You would think Exploretrip would have mentioned that in one of their reservation emails, or one of the THREE TIMES we had them on the phone before the trip! Nope. So we show up at the airport the day of our 7am flight, hear about this new requirement and had to apply for the authorization online... it took forever to actually get the authorization, and by that time we had missed the baggage check-in cutoff. Air Canada refused to rebook us because we had booked through Exploretrip, so we then called Exploretrip support (which btw is done in India by people with super heavy accents, and makes conversations really difficult to understand), and they not only refused to rebook us, they also refused to let us buy a new one way ticket ourselves and use our return leg! So we lost the full price of our tickets because they didn't give us all relevant information for our flight, were unable to book a new trip on the spot because prices had of course more than tripled, and were left at the airport with nothing but our eyes to cry with.
The sales practices of this company are unacceptable, I really wish I had googled them before booking through them. Avoid at all costs!

I recently booked an extremely short-noticed (like 1 and a half hours before take-off) flight from Honolulu, HI to San Jose, CA. Unbeknownst to me at the moment of booking, the date I needed was somehow switched to two weeks later. In such a frenzy to book my flight and get to the airport I didn't realize it and accidentally went ahead and booked this flight. Needless to say I had no flight for the intended evening and a flight for two weeks from when I needed it. Fortunately I was able to get to the airport and book the flight leaving that evening but now I had two tickets! I was really stressing about it.
The moment I got off my plane I contacted ExploreTrip customer service and got Samuel Sebastian as my customer service representative. I explained the circumstances to him and he was very understanding. He was very comforting in the matter despite my worry and was extremely patient and happy to help. FANTASTIC! He made an experience which I was worried would be a problem very pleasant and accommodating. He was very understanding about the fact I was on my flight and could not cancel immediately and was able to help me with my cancellation and waive any fees. As a customer, this made me extremely happy and comfortable with using and trusting the ExploreTrip service. Next time I fly I'll be reaching out to Samuel and ExploreTrip again knowing the great customer service he provides. Much credit to ExploreTrip for having such an outstanding representative on board.
