Shopped at expedia.com.sg. Had trouble keying the coupon code, called in to the hotline, the customer service office just passed me around, in the end my problem was not solved and I went over to another website to book.
I have used Expedia extensively since the year 2000. I have used it to find flights and to rent cars when I traveled. The ease of use is there and it has a quick response to any querys. You can pick from flights, flights with hotels and flights, hotels and cars. It also has packages available for your choice when you travel.
Love that u can book then pay when u get there makes changing very easy

We purchased around the world 5 stops ticket. In the country we visited we arranged drivers to pick us up and take us back to the airports and when we arrived at the airport they were there is was really nice not to worry how we were going to get to the hotel from the airport. We also booked our day tours that we did in different countries and we found that we were the only ones that go offered the little extras (eg lunch provided, VIP tickets, express entry etc) over people who booked through other websites and even through the tour company directly. It was nice knowing that we were looked after. I will defiantly book through them again
After receiving incorrect itinerary information from expedia for our (my two children and myself), we missed our flights by moments. We were given the incorrect terminal and were told by Lufthansa staff, on August 28th, 2015, that this had happened repeatedly all summer, as expedia failed to alert customers that their itinerary information had changed. I was told in my first call to expedia from the airport (international collect rates) by expedia customer service that they saw the error and I was then put on hold, for 25 minutes, then abruptly disconnected. I called again, and was asked to photograph my itinerary, (because they NOW could not see any error on my itinerary) so I photographed it and sent it several times and the rep said she could not see the attachment (although I could see and open the attachment in my sent mail), I was then put on hold for 40 minutes. Airport staff then scanned it and I sent it as a pdf, again told they could not view the attachment. I several following phone calls, I was chastised, put on hold for 45 minutes stretches of time and finally told by a rep, who actually seemed sympathetic, that yes, I would be helped but he needed to connect me with his supervisor. 20 minutes later, service rep Arturo Tall told me, that no that they were not going to rebook me or reimburse me, but if the previous rep had told me that he would "honor" that statement, but he had to go back and find that call because he did not believe me. He said it may take hours or days. I arrived at the airport 2 and a half hours before my flight, but waited in line because I thought we were in the correct terminal. Expedia is now telling me to bad, basically I should have run to the correct terminal faster! With my two small children! My children got to see their mother break down and cry after discovering that to rebook would cost me 7000. 00 dollars! Expedia has since done NOTHING, and refuses to acknowledge their error, although I have the proof! They still hang up, and put me on hold for hours! I am not a wealthy person, and financially and emotionally this has been devastating for myself and my children! DO NOT BOOK OR USE EXPEDIA BECAUSE IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM YOUR ON YOUR OWN! HORRIBLE!
I travel a lot and I can say that Expedia is my go to app (cause I use the app) when it comes to booking a plane ticket or a hotel room. It's very easy to use, it (app) has some glitches but those can be fixed. It has everything you could ever need. From hotel reviews to fare comparisons, Expedia has it all. Whenever I'm not being flown from one place to another by a private jet, I don't even go to Delta, AA, Southwest, etc. Anymore. I just click on that yellow Expedia app and securely book/find a flight even up to the very last minute. Seriously, because they have my credentials (don't worry about identity theft or scams btw, I can assure you that they are atrociously strict about security and privacy) just pick a flight you want to catch, run to the airport and you're done! Easy as pie. (Pie is very difficult but, uh, you get what I mean! Lol)
From the moment Expedia.com arrived on the scene, I enjoyed using their services, and then, boom, in about 2010, the company fell flat over and over. Maybe the brain child of Microsoft or other Seattle tech people, the proof is in the pudding. Expedia failed to measure up in the long run, and I had to go elsewhere for travel services.
Easy booking with extra points if book thru their apps which is awesome!

Ended up in Jenner after a lazy Saturday drive up the coast. Saw the Kayak kiosk and decided it would be fun to kayak in the area. No one was manning the kiosk but there was a sign saying "if you need to get a hold of us please use the radio" so we picked up the walkie-talkie radio and followed the instructions hoping to get a response. No response. Waited about five more minutes, try again no response.
In the time we're waiting two other groups of people show up either to return equipment or rent equipment. They also try the radio. Call the reservation desk. Try the radio. Call the reservation desk. No response.
After about an hour of waiting, the person that was supposed to be manning the booth shows up and says she was out to lunch. We had children with us who were excited to kayak and had put on life vests to pass the time. As she strode up from lunch she noticed this and berated everyone for putting on life vests that we would've rented anyway.
She then notifies us that she's not putting out any more kayaks because it might start to get windy. I get that, but then how about closing up your kiosk? Maybe put up a sign saying you're out to lunch? How about answering your phone or radio? Put up a sign indicating that the wind may be picking up and not putting out boats after XX time? How about not getting an attitude with potential customers that may not understand how you do business, because you're not there manning your effing kiosk for two hours?
Really, you don't get much with this site. If you book lots of hotel stays then eventually you get a $25 coupon. Big deal! And for that, you lose money and get no flexibility. I used their "Coupon" and then had to cancel because of a blizzard this January and thehy allowed me to cancel but would not let me use the coupon to book a hotel two days later (after storm was over) They said I had to wait for 60 more days to use the coupon. WTF? Why not? It"s a coupon! Stupidly, I bought a four night hotel stay with them again recently thinking i was getting a deal at $170 a night and when I checked into the hotel they said the rate was $143. But I already paid with Expedia so I could not get the lower rate! So I lost basically $108, and I still need how many hotel stays to get their stupid coupon? I won't use Expedia again. I'd rather book with the hotel direct or trip advisor and be allowed to cancel and get upgraded etc.
Always discover new places on earth but one and only Expedia is the platform which will provide you cheap trips and hotels
Booked my dates wrongly, called IMMEDIATELY after to try to get help... They didn't help. Instead, bounced me to at least 7 different callers in India. SERIOUSLY, GUYS?
I arrange a fair amount of traveling but will never use Expedia again. It's customer service begins with an aggravating auto-answering device, with layers of menus leading to loops. Its customer service staff appear very badly trained and after a few times of being left hanging on the telephone for up to 25 minutes, I gave up on Expedia.
When ever i travel, i get travelling services by expedia. They are one of finest service provider over here.

Answer: You were lucky to get through to anyone at all at Expedia. I've spent hours and hours and hours over three days trying to get through to anyone on their customer service phone line, their chat line and their e-mail, all to no avail. They really owe their customers much better customer service.
Answer: Demand to speak to a Supervisor though you better have time because it will take anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours. Once the Supervisor does nothing or little to nothing to resolve your concern, ask to speak to a manager. Get ready to really wait. DO NOT ACCEPT THE "WE'LL HAVE A MANAGER CALL YOU WITHIN 24 to 48 HOURS" When you figure out you don't matter, sit down and right a review!
