They charge my card twice and wouldn't release my order. I call customer service and the first rep assured me that everything thing was good. Later on that day I recieved a email that my order was on hold because my shipping address and the address that's attach to my card is different. I called again and the rep ask me to verify the last 4 of my card number and charge me card a 2nd time.
I recently purchased an engraved sterling silver necklace. The picture was clear from picture I sent in and the necklace and pendant were good quality from what was spent. Overall I am very happy with this company.
I ordered a necklace for my best friend who passed away... they charged me twice and said I would be refunded then when I called back they said I would not be refunded and can't dispute with my bank until it isn't pending. I called back to cancel my order and they said they can not cancel my order! If I had read these reviews ahead of time I never would have ordered! I will be disputing both charges with my bank and getting reimbursed. This company will surely be out of business Soon. My best friend deserves a better quality necklace! Garbage service and a scam DO NOT order anything from this company or you will be sorry!
Received a chain and it came broken, missing birth stones. I wrote to them and they didn't even respond. This company will be out of business soon. I wish I had looked at the reviews first. Try Origami Owl. Much better quality and service
Bracelet broke after 1 month. Horrible company to work with! Do NOT recommend. Just short of refused to fix. Sent bracelet back for repair and they lost and refused to rectify situation. Once again... pick other company to purchase personalized items.
Ordered a monogrammed necklace for my daughter that lost her dog with his name. Very rusty looking, terrible. Got nowhere, today finally they decided to give me 30% back.No replacement, no refund.So if you order something they say is good and it's not, you are stuck with it. They lost 2 more customers.
I'm sad to write this, but I got a 30th anniversary bracelet for my husband. I bought it a month before our anniversary to make sure I'd have it in time. He loved it, but it broke within 2.5 months. I contacted the company and explained, but the wouldn't do anything since it was over 90 days. This was $50+, and not just a complete trinket. My husband has a desk job and doesn't do any activities that would have been hard on the bracelet. Bummer!
This company put 2 holds on my debit card and then canceled my order. They said they needed the authorization for 2 payments and then the third was the actual payment. And now it's been 4 days and I'm still out $100 and no gift. Horrible experience.
I ordered an engraved signet ring as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend, and the quality of the engraving was embarrassing to say the least. Very jagged and cheap looking. When I contacted them (with pictures of the terrible engraving) and told them I was unsatisfied with it, they said that the engraving meets their standards and won't give me a refund or exchange. I believe I deserve a refund since it's the quality of their work that was so terrible. They should be ashamed to put their name behind this product.
I placed an order that was expected to arrive just before Christmas. The item never came, the tracking link from the order confirmation email showed no information, and I never received any order updates after the initial confirmation. I reached out to customer service with an inquiry. I did receive a response, but it said 'Your order was canceled'. I replied that they could have at least let me know and I asked what happened. I was given no extra info - just 'your order was canceled in error - sorry. Would you like to re-place the order?'
So I asked how much that would be and when would it be here. They replied that it would be the same price and they would ship it out in 5-7 business days. WTF? I've already waited 3 weeks, they could have at least offered to expedite the shipping. So nope - you're fired.
I order a custom engraved dog tag, it was supposed to be a medium, it was very small, but the quality of the actual dog tag was decent for what I paid for it and the engraving was way better than I expected it to be
This company made a mistake and didn't contact me to tell me the problem. They charged me (these numbers are hypothetical to maintain anonymity) on one day followed by $51 the next day. I thought it was a scam. I only owed $51 for the one item I purchased. When both charges were taken out of my bank account, I called the company. They insisted that my bank only allowed a $50 charge on the first attempt, so they had to charge the full $51 on their second attempt. They told me that the $50 charge would fall off of my bank statement in the next week. I called my bank. What REALLY happened is that someone at Eve's Addiction made a mistake. They attempted to charge $50, and when they realized their mistake, they refunded the $50 and then charged $51. Well, that tied up the $50 that was refunded in a pending transaction for an entire week. So, if you don't want your finances screwed up, or if you just don't care for someone making a mistake and then blaming it on your bank, then NEVER, EVER use this company. I wish there were a zero stars option.
I ordered a medical ID bracelet for my brother. I specifically searched for a man's size bracelet on the website. It was expensive and when it came it was TINY. They refused to exchange or issue a refund. Total scam.
AWFUL! If I could give them ZERO stars I would. I purchased a birthstone necklace for my mother in law for Christmas I ordered on December 5th out of their "ships in 24 hours" category to make sure it made it in time. I called 4 times between the 10th and the 20th waited on hold 20+ min each to be told a bunch on lies until the last call she finally "checked in the back" to find out that my order was actually back ordered and "you need to pick something else out that's actually in stock". I told her no thanks and to send me my refund. She sent me a $10 sympathy gift card and told me ill see my refund within the hour since I paid with paypal. Its now 1/3 i've called 2 more times regarding my refund and they keep telling me its "pending" and to call my paypal. The last guy I talk to was giving me all sorts of attitude and told me he'd send me a email showing me that my refund was pending and he never did. I've escalated it through paypal so well see if I ever get my refund. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! They are the worst company I've ever had to deal with.
I will never use this company again. I ordered my best friend a necklace that was supposed to come a WEEK AGO! But this company messed up and cancelled my order so I turned AGAIN and it was set to come today but it's 6pm, and it won't let me track it because it says "there is no tracking information for the billing/zip postal code provided" how sad is it that I didn't even have to check what it said I just remembered? Once I finally get the necklace, if I ever do, I WILL NEVER EVER BUY FROM THIS PEOPLE EVER AGAIN! Everything is so overpriced and they don't have a solid foundation. Get your act together!
I purchased 5 small charms on 12/29 with guarantee for Christmas. After 3 emails and me calling them and never answering, it finally arrived USPS although they first said it was coming FED EX and then DHL, it arrived on 1/31 but the order wasn't filled properly and although the charms were ordered in silver, one came in gold. In the process of trying to get an exchange. Also, the day after charges were made my credit card had $4000 worth of Walmart.com gift cards put on my credit card. Not sure when this all happened but very disappointed with Eve's Addiction and their promises and their customer service.
My package never showed up. Charges were taken off my card same day of purchase. Customer service won't answer and websites says it cant track my order. Terrible company. Would give zero stars if I could. WHERES MY NECKLACE.
Looks cheap and the engraving is totally illegible; it looks like scribble. Cannot imagine how this wound up on a list of recommended gifts.
This will need another update but I wanted to be fair. They did not contact me via e-mail so I made a phone call. The service representative was very polite and helpful. They will be replacing my keychain. I made the error of not recognizing the portrait/landscape mode when ordering so she will change that for me. So upon arrival of the replacement I will update when I see what that looks like. But, I wanted everyone to know that through a phone call they were helpful. Now, whether it happens is another story. Will keep everyone posted. Also, they were quick about the phone process.
I ordered a silver keychain for my nephew for Christmas. It was oval. They did the engraving portrait instead of landscape so they would have had more room to make the letters larger also the engraving was so faded it was barely readable. It will wear off after a couple of uses of being in his pocket. I have contacted them and am waiting to hear back but if they don't make good and judging by these reviews it doesn't look good, I say stay away. I notice they don't have the reviews on their sight. I should have researched more. Shame on me. I hear will update when I back to be fair.
I'm STILLLLLL waiting for my package. The email that they have been spamming apparently will not let me log in or use option for "forgot my password". The tracking number in my email brings me to a page that says orders ship within 24 hours but "tracking not available". The chat option doesn't work. I wish I read reviews before ordering. Now, I'm waiting for a Christmas gift a day after Christmas, and I will probably have to replace it anyway.
I feel like the 5 star reviews are from employees.
Answer: I had the same thing happen to mine twice and the first time they replaced It i had it less than a day and it fell out again now they won't respond to me. I paid 40$ for mine... good luck
