Thanks for the response. I was hoping to be able to get the answer without having to move the rails and test the fit. It makes sense that dispersing the weight over 40 inches would be a benefit.

Sadly your pricing policy cost you a customer. Jacking the price up on the item I wanted from $232 to $312 led me to buy elsewhere for close to your original price.

When I received the carrier I tried it out on my suv with a load. The carrier sagged down even without a load on it. But with the load it scraped. When I tried to return it they wouldn't let me because it was used and scratched. They suggested I sell it on Craigslist. Now I'm out $250.

Husband ordered side lights for MH. They arrived with not mounting screws and no LED lightbulbs. Then when he tried to install they blew a fuse in our MH and knocked out half our lights. When we first opened the box, we asked for refund slip and told there is a cost. Also he told us to use the old gold screws for a bronzed side light! Getting more like 3rd world everyday! Do not order from them-terrible products/

The help that I received from Jameson C. Was great. He was very clear in why I couldn't use a certain trailer hitch to tow my camper and put a bike rack on additionally. He suggested a great second option of a bike rack that actually attaches to the camper frame which I was not aware even existed. Thanks for your help.

I haven't purchased the roof rack system yet, but the customer service at etrailer.com has always been 5 star. Their responses are timely, accurate, and friendly.
I can rate the rack after purchase, but the trailer hitch and rack that I bought last year worked like a charm.

Michael H put me on the right track with a WD system that solved my problem. That was much appreciated help. I also confirmed factory hitch capability with dealer; good to go. Only problem I had was finding a shop that would switch out ball and torque 450 lbs. But I did find and the good guys only wanted 10 bucks to celebrate TGIF.

Great advice. I was just thinking about welding the bracket to add a sway control bar to the $#*! for extra stability. I know all the sway can't be controlled but I shouldn't be afraid to pull it either. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with this hitch they sold me for now.
