Purchased an item not directly related to a trailer for sale on their site arrived quickly however seems to be very dirty and not the way I would have expected an item sold as new to arrive in such condition
Similar to MANY others who purchased the Eco hitch for the RAV4, the hitch broke through its cardboard shipping box and the finish had sustained some damage to the paint. I had to sand/prime/paint the affected area in order to decrease chances of rust over time. Having to make a brand new item into a small project upon arrival wasn't ideal and it seems this is a routine concern for the shipping of this hitch based on many other reviews
Still need to install the hitch and as a product feel it will be very well suited to my needs

The eTrailer shopping, value, shipping and selection was great but the product I ordered specifically from Hopkins was NOT color coded correctly. If I would have connected the trailer wiring to the pigtail by color it would have not functioned at all. Thankfully I never trust and verified to figure it out.
