Slots in hitch were 3/8" too closely spaced across the car so I put a crescent wrench on one of the flanges with a pipe on the handle. I then had my son push down on the pipe while I stood on the other end of the hitch to bend the flange for 3/8" more slot spacing. Slots lined up when the overall length of the hitch was 41".
Also had to grind the inside bottom of the u-bolt to get it seated on the tow loop.
The process was quick and easy. Items were delivered within a week.
Came with new bolts, flat, and lock washers. Did appreciate that. Simple and understandable instructions.

I ordered and received an eTrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver, Custom Fit and Curt wire harness kit for my 2019 Jeep Compass Trailhawk. It was delivered on the day I was told it would be delivered. The package was in good condition and everything was in it. I have not had opportunity to install it yet but look forward to doing it. The videos I have seen on eTrailer have been great and will prove helpful.
Took about 30 minutes to assemble and install. Much easier than expected! Saved over $1,500 ordering and installing myself, compared to Toyota dealer quote.
The experience was good, cover was packaged well but would put instructions on the outside so to review before unwrapping the cover. It did take a minute to understand the slip straps maybe a brief description of how to use. It came with a few good bonus items, covers for the trailer gutters and an additional ladder cover. Installed in a few hours by myself, overall experience is very good, will see how the trailer fairs next spring.
The wiring kit I purchased for my 2005 Toyota matrix, could not have been easier to install. Great product, easy to find, easy to install.
