I needed a hitch extension for a Ford F650 with a rated load over 6k lbs. Etrailer has an extension rated at 10k lbs. Perfect fit, perfect pull.

The main components ordered for adding a hitch to an older Subaru seem to fit just fine after a bit of elbow grease. The main issue was the quality of how the supplied parts were packaged was just lax enough that a part was missing. Fortunately, it was a cheap part that was is available at any local hardware store. I wasn't interested in doing a dance with customer service and waiting several days to finish be able to complete the project.
