This is my fourth or fifth trailer hitch that I've ordered from etrailer. I've consistently had good experiences with all of the trailer hitches that I've purchased. Instructions and installations have been, for the most part, very smooth. This 2" Class 3 hitch for the Tesla Model Y was the same. Etrailer shipped the product the same day that I ordered it, and I received it 2 days later. Multiple videos were available online to guide me through the installation, and they were all good. Overall, the installation took me about 2.5 hours. I installed it by myself. I do recommend getting some painter's blue tape to protect the paint on your car next to the bumper when reinstalling the bumper. This particular trailer hitch does NOT reuse the bumper bar. I think that other trailer hitches (e.g., eco-hitch) do reuse the bumper bar. I do not know whether that makes a huge difference, and it was not worth the extra $100-$200 for the eco-hitch. But, that may be a factor for others in deciding which trailer hitch to purchase.

Most of the time I am not interested in a "quickie", but etrailer shipping sure is into it fast. When I opened that smooth brown box, so strong and sturdy with its copper staples, out popped the two big round boys ready to be mounted: 4 x 4 holes, smooth creamy medal and the rubber had that nice fuzz on the outside when you know they're handled with care. The second smooth box joined in almost a moment later and out popped some damn fine taillights. What was I doing mixing up red taillights? Man I dunno it just seemed chill at the time. They were cool with it, both boxes cool with it...
