I have bought 6 dresses from Eshakti. They all arrived exactly as I ordered with custom alterations and in a length I like. I am tall and dresses are rarely long enough. Love the pockets. I have had no issues with quality. I think their sizes, even with the measurements provided, run slightly small, particularly in the waist. I order one size larger. I have never pay full price. They always have sales and are generous with $25, $35 or $40 off coupons. The shipping used to take a long time because the dresses are made as ordered and then shipped, but now it is much quicker. I placed my most recent order 10/1 and it was shipped 10/9. Hopefully, I will have it in a week or so.

I ordered a shirt from eShakti five months ago. Two months in, I sent an email. Two weeks later, I sent another. Two weeks later, another... another two weeks. And so on. I've tried calling and emailing. When calling they give me the runaround, when emailing they ignore. If it weren't for the people saying they've gotten decent clothes I'd be calling them a scam.

Avoid them like the plague. You might not get anything at all.

My first purchase from this site will be my last. I ordered a standard size medium dress that - according to their size chart - would have a chest measurement of 36-37 inches. My dress measures only 32 inches at the chest. To send it back I would have to pay return shipping and lose my fee for a custom neckline (which I cannot even tell if they got right because I cannot get the dress on to see!) which would put me out $20 which is ridiculous given *their* incorrect sizing! So I will have my mother alter it to a skirt but I will never buy from this company again.

Needless to say I was hesitant to purchase anything from them due to the reviews... People seem to love it or hate it and there doesn't seem to be much middle ground.
I ordered 3 dresses... Paid $106 including shipping. There was 10% off for mobile orders, $40 off for new customers and buy 2 get 1 free. Yes... They COMBINE discounts! (Yay!).
At any rate, I received my dresses a week and a half later... And I'm in love. Everything fits like a glove... being as small as I am it's very difficult to find dresses or ANYTHING for that matter, that fits so well. The fabric is NOT cheap. In fact, is very good quality. The fact that every dress has pockets blows my mind. Love it. The only issue I have is that one zipper kind of sticks. But it isn't enough to raise h3ll about it.
In a nut shell I'm very satisfied with my order and I WILL be ordering from them again. Soon.

PS... I did not get any additional charges from customs or DHL. I guess that only happens if your order is $200+

EShakti is the best with my experience. My first shopping experience with them has been a memorable one and they've gained a life long customer.

I odered 2 items and got one free as they had a promotion going on, they seem to always have either coupon promotions, discounts or there by multiple item and get one free. With your first order you get the option to customize certain aspect of your garment for free (opt out of pockets, change the length or sleeves, etc.) after your first order you have to pay a small fee which isn't a problem for me to get what I really want.

The fit of the items was excellent. I was so happy as I've been dealing with not getting the right fit with clothes I was purchasing online and its while I was searching for a better better option and some form of customization I found eShakti.

The timeline they gave me was excellent and I even got my items before the estimated delivery time. They deliver in 14 business days (18 calendar days) from the date of the order (including custom orders) I was a little worried about that fact, but it was stated before I placed my order so there were no nasty surprises later on. During my checkout I did run into a small problem while entering my address, but I alerted customer service to my problem and they responded quickly and rectified the problem and throughout the entire purchase I was updated up to the point that my items were delivered and I got a $35 coupon for a future purchase.

Hands down this was one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had. I had choices, well fitting clothes that was affordable coupled with amazing customer service from the time my order was placed until it was delivered. The only thing I hope they do is add even more choices especially with pants as I'm a pants girl and to continue with the excellent service.

I really wanted to like this site. I really did. It reminded me of having a tailor when I lived in Africa. However, their customer service and shipping need to be improved if they want to continue to do business. I received some clothes from them that fit okay, but I never wore due to the fact that it was lackluster. The images on the site did not translate into reality. Also, the waiting for items became tedious. It got to the point where I thought they had just ripped me off. One item trickled in and then another and then another. Mediocre quality for the money I had paid for the customization.

This was only my first order with eshakti, and usually people only write reviews when they're disgruntled, so I'm not sure how commonly other customers might experience similar issues.

I ordered 2 dresses, one I customized with a longer length. The dress arrived much shorter-there was obviously no customization done. I emailed customer service; I didn't hear back for several days. They asked for pictures. OK, I send back pictures. They profusely apologize and send me a return ship label and will cut a new dress. The problem is that my family is moving overseas in 2 weeks. I need the new dress shipped to a different address, or I need a refund. I would be happy with store credit even. They don't know what to do; they don't write back... I write back, re-stating that I would accept a refund or a new dress shipped to a different address. I highlight that this is getting a little frustrating. I don't hear back...

Come on. It's been over a week. Is it really that hard? I'm a little sorry I asked for store credit now. If I order another dress will it be similarly problematic?

The dresses were good quality. Not the best, but not terrible. The styles and prints were so fun, though. I admit that I keep looking back at their website in spite of my frustrations. Maybe I need a 12-step group?
