The company generally enjoys a positive reputation for its user-friendly online auction platform and efficient customer service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their bidding experiences and prompt assistance when issues arise. However, several concerns have emerged, including frustrations with bid discrepancies, lack of acknowledgment for pre-bids, and occasional technical difficulties that hinder the bidding process. Customers also noted issues with communication and billing accuracy, particularly regarding buyer premiums. Overall, while the company demonstrates strengths in customer support and auction execution, addressing these recurring concerns could enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Everything went great it was easy to bid and communicate with the seller
My main concern with internet auctions is you often have to blind bid and "assume" the condition of an item based on it's age, operating hours when available, and a few pictures. Would be nice to have a video demonstration operation of equipment, background info such as who owned the equipment and how it was used (e.g. Rental, farm, construction, landscaping, government, etc.) and a disclosure of any known events in the life of the item (e.g. Flood, fire, etc.) and a disclosure of known issues.
Easy to bid and watch. Works great when you can't make it to live auctions.I will use it again in the future for sure!
Thanks Jeremy - glad you liked the ease of the site.
Email contact information on site isn't correct. Auction company doesn't answer the phone. Multiple useless emails over transportation! This shouldn't be a hard process, buy something at an auction, receive an invoice, pay said invoice, and pick up the piece of equipment. Pretty much 24 hours after purchase and we aren't at step 2 yet. So much for an easy transaction.
Good. Need more information so that I could bid on more items. When an old generator is up for sale and has no info on the KW or size and type of motor, I am unable to bid. I could have bought two of the larger generators had the info been included. Roy

Thank you for the review Roy. If there is ever a time you have questions about an item, please reach out to the Seller listed to clear up any confusion their item description is causing.
Bruce glad you enjoyed using Equipmentfacts.
The online bidding process went fine. When I went to pickup up the item, it didn't have any hydraulic tips on it. There were 6 or 7 others just like mine that had the tips on it. It was a $160 addition to get the tips. Just tells me the online process isn't perfect.
Thanks for the feedback, Rob!
It would kick me offline then come back and say that it thought I was a bot, most of the auction I had no sound. Some of the things I wanted to bid on I could not because It kicked me offline and when I got back on it had already sold. I will never do this again.
Bid was taken at a higher price than I bid because the auction was moving fast, but that is OK, Been over 24 hours and I have not gotten an invoice, that is not OK.
Donald thank you for the review - please check your spam or junk folder to see if the invoice went in there. If not there, please reach out to the seller.
I had problems finding the tractor that I was interested in and your staff helped us find it and get everything set for us to start bidding and explained everything to us. This was the first time trying on line auctions thanks for the help of your staff member he was very helpful and got us in the right place and made sure we were all taking care of before he left us.
Thank you Lloyd for the kind words. I will pass it along.
Everything went smooth and easy. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Thank you for the review Jerry. We appreciate the kind words.
Very easy to set up account & get Bidding number. Test bid confirmed I qualified as Bidder. Pre-bids are helpful as Auction moves quickly. Set a Maximum Bid amt on choice items. Capital Red letter "WINNER" flashes if you are high bidder! Emailed invoice & info for payment & pickup. Online bidding much more convenient than standing for hours & jostling crowd to get to your items!
Suzanne - glad you enjoyed using Equipmentfacts
Very bad we do not receive the proper advice bidding on your platform and mistakenly enter on the wrong item and now American auctioneer are treating us to kick out is to be able to bid on others auctions
I told them one e o knew our mistake let them know earlier on the day of the auction look like business ethics do not work with them
Noah after review of the circumstances, you were told that American Auctioneers did not want you bidding on their sale after bidding on an item and then saying you would not pay for it. They did not ask for bidding rights to be revoked but did ask that you not be allowed to bid on other items in their sale. There is a test button available to test your bids before the auction starts. There is also the safe guard of confirming a bid before it can be placed.
Ok experience, good auction company and a great place to do business.
John glad you enjoyed the site. We appreciate the feedback.
Very good. Only thing I haven't received a bill for what I purchased. Auction company says I would receive an email from Equipment facts but I haven't.
Thanks for the feedback, Pepper! The seller would provide the invoice directly to you.
Drove 2 hours the next day to pick up what I Purchased and when I got there the zero-turn I bought was nowhere to be found, I guess someone stole it. Who knows, It was like nobody cared, drove back home 2 hours with an empty trailer. What a Joke!
The new app and website are terrible. Can't load 100 items to view on each page now. And to search for auctions in your state is much harder to navigate.
Dear Kenneth:
Thanks for the feedback!
The scroll feature will be added back to the website within the next few of weeks. They had to disable the feature but are planning to add it back soon, so look for it in the coming weeks.
Regards,
Kelly
It went very good, I waited for the right moment and selected a good machine. It's Friday and I'm dealing a slow bank. Thank you your patients.
Glad you had a good experience. Keep in communication with the seller regarding payment.
The auctioneers voice was cutting in and out but over all it was a good experience!
Thank you Mike for the review. Overall I am glad you had a good experience.
It was OK. Had an item I bid on that didn't sell due to having a reserve but it invoiced it to me kinda made a Lil confusion. But overall it was alright
Thank you for the review Ryan. Sorry for the reserve confusion, I hope, once it explained, it was easier to understand.

Pat glad you enjoyed your experience.
