The company generally enjoys a positive reputation for its user-friendly online auction platform and efficient customer service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their bidding experiences and prompt assistance when issues arise. However, several concerns have emerged, including frustrations with bid discrepancies, lack of acknowledgment for pre-bids, and occasional technical difficulties that hinder the bidding process. Customers also noted issues with communication and billing accuracy, particularly regarding buyer premiums. Overall, while the company demonstrates strengths in customer support and auction execution, addressing these recurring concerns could enhance overall customer satisfaction.

I was bidding on a truck that for 3 days gave a very vague description and only one photo, of course after I purchase it. The link updates with 47 photos and…. An announcement that it has a transmission leak… not to sound about having bid on and won something that didn't have photos or a accurate description
I don't know if I messed up or what happened. Supposedly I bid on a piece of equipment that I didn't want to bid on but said I did. Therefore now I'm kicked off of Auction Time and Equipment Facts. I guess it's there loss.
Hi Richard, we’re sorry to hear about the confusion with your bidding experience—please know we’re here to help clarify what happened and explore options to get you back on board. The seller indicated you won the item then called them and backed out of his winning bid; they had to rerun the tractor through and resell it.
I bid, i got no yellow check mark or you won or anything saying i won, i watched the rest of auction my item i bid on read pending for the whole auction i talked to the people who was selling the item and they informed me it did not reach the reserve mark the next day the auction house called wanting paid first before i picked up the item but the owner of item would not talk to me about a time to pick item up from his house it has been three days now and i am not going to honor my bid, there is way to much she said he said for me so my experience was not good at all
William, we truly appreciate you sharing your experience and are sorry for the confusion and frustration caused. We want to assure you that transparency is important to us, and we welcome any opportunity to clarify matters and work toward a satisfactory resolution.
Great experience volumes were low not sure if it was auction side mine were turn up 100% still hard to hear.
Chris, thank you for your positive feedback and for sharing your experience so openly. We'll review the volume levels carefully to ensure that everyone can clearly hear leaders in future events. It means a lot to have your perspective as we keep improving how we operate.
Equipment facts gave a reminder prior to sell in which was good. In the auction there was a communication issue and the live auction was hard to understand at times. Other wise it sold mostly retail. Purchased one dozer.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback, John! We're glad the equipment reminders were helpful, and we're actively working to make our live auction communications clearer to ensure a smoother experience next time.
I was under the impression that I won a bid on a piece of equipment, I recieved an email from equipmentfacts that I was the high bidder but the auctioneer recorded it as a floor bidder winning. This is the second time that this has happened to me with different bidding platforms so it seems that something needs to be done with the online bidding and the auctioneers closing bids out too soon.
Hello Jason, thank you for sharing your experience and bringing this to our attention. We understand how important it is to feel confident the moment a bid closes, and we are actively reviewing our bidding process to improve clarity and timing. We appreciate your feedback and hope to provide a smoother experience for you in future auctions.
There were a couple of items that I was bidding on, that were sold to the previous bidder without even making it to the auction block. I don't understand why would you have lot#'s for items, then completely skip those lots without giving all parties an opportunity to bid?
Thank you for your insights, John. We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any confusion caused by the lot visibility. The seller is responsible for the pattern of what items sell. If there is an item you are interested please reach out to them for more information on the item's availability.
I bid and won a 2012 Lincoln MKS and did not get an invoice from the auctioneer. I called on the day of the auction and was told invoice would be mailed the next day. Now i i get an answering service msg and no reply to email or text. I am still trying.
Hi Kirk, sorry to hear about the trouble getting your invoice—your frustration is completely understandable. We’re looking into this right away and will reach out ASAP to resolve it so you can move forward smoothly. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could not get a question answered about a lot# for sale. Was locked out from bidding and had to wait for someone to call me and unlock my bidding rights. This site had problems staying up with the lot changes and the high bid numbers. Never had this problem with Proxibid... will use them from now on.
Dennis, thank you for sharing your experience and feedback. We truly appreciate your patience and incorporation of your insights to improve our service. All new bidders are subject to reverification due to our automated registration process. We appreciate your understanding.
Not sure how to explain this but during the auction, when the auctioneer was allowing bidders to buy a unit at the price listed when there were multiple units, there was always a delay so by the time the buy it window opened, all units were sold. To hear that an extra unit was sold to proxibid, or Kraftbid, when the equipment facts buy it box wasn't even available was frustrating. Multiple unit sales allowing the high bidder to take them all is damn frustrating. They should have to sell each item, not let a single high bidder buy them all. Also when the bidding starts, I shouldn't have to wait to place a bid until most of the bidding is done. I guess the only remedy is to show up to the auction location and save the internet bidder fee. There is a price to be paid by bidding from the office... but will I actually go, probably not.
Cullen, thank you for sharing your detailed experience and concerns. Unfortunately, some sellers choose to use multiple bidding platforms and they control what bidding they allow.
This was my 1st experience auctioning at Equipmentfacts and the experience was phenomenal... no issues... quick response times... courteous coustomer service that took time to answer any questions that I had all the way through the whole process... I recommend anyone that's looking to do auction business to come here!
Hi James, thank you so much for sharing your first auction experience with us! We're thrilled to hear everything went smoothly and that our team could support you along the way. We're here whenever you decide to auction again!
This is a very well run and organized auction. The on line bidding is fast and reliable! The on screen version has zero lag time. Will continue to use this platform!
Michael, thank you for your kind words and for recognizing the accuracy and efficiency of our online bidding platform. It’s wonderful to hear that your experience went smoothly and we truly appreciate your trust — we look forward to seeing you at future events!
Five Star Auctions purposely hid the problems with the tractor I bought. It had numerous codes which were not disclosed. The image of the dashboard was taken so that the "!" engine warning light can't be seen. The rear PTO doesn't work, numerous faults. I will never buy from them again.
Steve, we sincerely regret that your experience did not meet expectations and take your concerns seriously. Our aim is always to provide clear and honest information, and we would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further and find a fair resolution. Your feedback is invaluable as we strive to improve transparency for all customers.
Bid on an excavator in the Ritchason Auction and won. No mention of reserve from the consignor until after I win the bid. Then the consignor declined and I assume went back to lower bidder and bid him up.
Maybe I missed the reserve was assumef, but feel like I was played.
Noticed was slow on updating some items prices while bidding was going on but other than that all went well.
Hi Mark, thanks for taking the time to share your experience! We appreciate your understanding with the price updates, and we're glad everything else went smoothly during the auction.
I was an online buyer. It was surprising easy. The auctioneer was very easy to understand and quite tentative of the online bids as well as those onsite if they were bidding on the same lot number.
Pickup was easy. Would do it again if I find something I'm interested in.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience, Randy. We're glad the auction process was smooth and that pickup went without a hitch. We'd be happy to welcome you back anytime you find another item that catches your eye!
My experience was great. The only issue I had was the sound, and I don't know if that might be, my laptop haven't been able to check that out.But in the past, it's been a lot louder, so I don't know.
Thank you, Bill, for your wonderful feedback and for sharing your experience with us. We're glad to hear you had a great time and appreciate your understanding regarding the audio—it's something we pride ourselves on, so we’ll certainly look into this matter to better prepare equipment for future events. Your input means a lot, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
The site worked well but to use it and bid is a punishment for not attending the live auction. More fees added to the bill.
Hi Bill, thank you for your candid feedback and your endorsement of our site. We truly appreciate hearing what works well for you and also understand your concerns about the bidding experience and fees. The seller sees the online platform as a convenience to bid from anywhere which is why they typically charge a fee for purchases.
I bid and won on an online auction for a machine that was listed as loaded with low hours only to find out the operating system had been deleted to eliminate the DEF exhaust additive. Should have been disclosed and I think the PA auction house may be getting a letter from my attorney. Very very disappointed. When I received the machine there was a sign on the window so folks at the auction could see that the DEF was deleted but there was no notice to online participants.
Matthew, thank you for bringing this to our attention—transparency is very important to us, and we’re sorry the listing did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your feedback greatly and will review how information is displayed to ensure all bidders have the full picture upfront. Please reach out to the seller directly to work toward a resolution.
After i won the auction i been tryna contact the seller sent 2 emails till today monday im still waiting for a reply

Thank you, Peyton, for sharing your experience, and we’re sorry it wasn’t clear before your bid was placed. We will let the seller know about your concern.
