The company generally enjoys a positive reputation for its user-friendly online auction platform and efficient customer service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their bidding experiences and prompt assistance when issues arise. However, several concerns have emerged, including frustrations with bid discrepancies, lack of acknowledgment for pre-bids, and occasional technical difficulties that hinder the bidding process. Customers also noted issues with communication and billing accuracy, particularly regarding buyer premiums. It is easy to bid on most auctions, however at an auction in Canada on April 26,2025 I could not bid because I kept getting the message that the details of both parties on the visa card did not match the bidder details on Eeuipmentfacts. However, these details are the same and at other auctions the credit card is accepted
Thank you for the feedback! Sounds like an issue unique to that seller, we'll let them know. EF doesn't request any credit card to enter any auction, only a select number of sellers do required a card on file.
I am using my phone to watch and bid. Ring 1, and ring 2 were coming through on audio at the. Same time. Very hard to hear and decipher what was going on.
Thanks for the feedback, we'll let the seller know.
Very disappointed the item that I purchased was not as described in description They made it sound like it was a good running, clean machine with heat and AC. The machine has Assess amount Of rust heat air conditioning does not work they spray painted everything to cover it up so that you could not tell by the pictures very deceptive in order for online bidding to work, seller must be honest
Thank you for the feedback! We'll let the seller know since they are responsible for the listing.
Horrible. The auction was delayed the whole time so it was hard to bid and you all banned my account mid auction to where I couldn't bid on anything else.
Thank you for the feedback! Accounts are subject to reverification since we have automated registration. I let the bidder dept. know about your concern. Please accept my apologies for the delay.
Bidding and buying from Equipmentfacts was very easy. Simple to setup and get bidding. Bought a mini excavator I had been searching for. Thanks for making the process so easy.
Great to hear!
I was really impressed by how efficient the auction was, and how seamlessly the online bidding was integrated with the floor bidders who were on site. As an online bidder, it was great to be able to hear the auctioneer in real time, and the auction moved fast.
Fantastic!
Easy access to the site! Liked how it kept track of my watched items! Easy to bid and follow along!
Glad you liked it!
Polk Auction in New Paris, IN. I won my item. Fairly simple and easy bidding. I used the phone app.
I only have one suggestion, while awaiting and scrolling down the list of items, the page would 'auto scroll' back to the item up for bid. This was a nuisance that frustrated me when I was perusing the upcoming items. Thanks
Thanks for the suggestions!
I was listening to the live auction obviously while it was going on and bought two items. They both were rather fishy, the first one said that i was outbid and lost the item. I even took a screen shot of it saying so but then i got an email a few minutes later saying i won the bid. On the second item i purchased the auctioneer sold the same item before the one i bought for $300 and he asked if someone would pay the same amount for the second one. The bid button said 300 and then when i got the invoice it was $400. Im done with this live onsite auction stuff, every auction that i have participated in it is very obvious that they favor who is on site and they manipulate the auction to facilitate those individuals. They use the internet to push the bid and then ultimately favor the onsite bidders. Almost always the person running the equipment facts bid doesnt move fast enough to put in a bid resulting in a loss of the item for the internet bidder. I am not impressed and likely will not waste my time on it any further.
Thanks for the feedback! By nature the online bidding is always going to have a slight delay.
Had several lagging errors. A couple of lost bids from people on the floor with the same bid. Even was kicked out from bidding an lost the one item that I registered for the auction for.
Thanks for the feedback! The seller controls who the bid is going to, be it floor or online. Bidder's are flagged for reverification since we have automated registration, but are usually reinstated with in a few minutes depending on volume.
Overall I liked the convenience and how well organized it went for an online bidder. Thanks!
Great to hear!
You locked me out of my account for almost the first half of the auction. You had me on hold for more than an hour. Had to call auctioneer to get any help. Other than that it wasn't a bad experience.
Thanks for the feedback! Bidders are subject to reverification due to automated registration, accounts are usually within a few minutes depending on volume.
Live auctions are awkward for me.
I managed through the process.
I used two devices to stay on top of the process.
I did use the Pre-Bid to establish a connection.
Thanks for the feedback!
Waited half the day with streaming problems. Then when items I was really wanting came up. I missed most do to streaming problems. Could have been do to weather. Then when I won the bid once I was gonna take two times but only got one. Do to streaming difficulties.
Thanks for the feedback. Seller's do prepare to handle potential streaming issues to try to avoid but sometimes there can still be issues. We appreciate your understanding.
I pre bid on an item. Was the highest bidder. Auction ended and said Sale pending. I did not see any other bidding on item. There has been no contact to me for what the status is on this. I would have liked to have been contacted on the status of this. Now it has been deleted from my watch items and cannot find what the lot number was. Please contact me *******368. Brian Thieme

Thank you for the feedback! We'll let the seller know. We encourage them to list the general condition of the item but the seller controls the information since they are listing it for sale. If you don't k=have the information yo need for the item, I wouldn't bid on the item.
