How Equipmentfacts Works
Auction listings appear on the Equipmentfacts.com website with photos, specifications, descriptions, and videos. The searchable, user-friendly site lets potential bidders contact sellers via phone, email, video chat, and popular apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Equipmentfacts staff will handle many of the most time-consuming aspects of bidder management on auction day, including uploading the sales day catalog, managing bidder registra...
The company generally enjoys a positive reputation for its user-friendly online auction platform and efficient customer service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their bidding experiences and prompt assistance when issues arise. However, several concerns have emerged, including frustrations with bid discrepancies, lack of acknowledgment for pre-bids, and occasional technical difficulties that hinder the bidding process. Customers also noted issues with communication and billing accuracy, particularly regarding buyer premiums. Overall, while the company demonstrates strengths in customer support and auction execution, addressing these recurring concerns could enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Very easy to bid. Was very happy with my experience. Thanks!
Thank you, Mitch!
This is my first actual experience with Equipmentfacts. So far, it is impressive. Wiring the payment is in progress. I have yet to pick up the implement, so I still have some procedure facets to experience. It's been painless this far down the path. Gina is a gem and keeps things moving orderly.
Had to have bill redone with tax exemption. Was not allowed to mail a check for the payment. The whole process was rather difficult.
Thanks for the feedback! Each seller has their own method of payment, some may be easier than others. We appreciate your understanding!
I did not win several bids because your site lags behind... it too SLOW.
I called EqFACTS two times during the bid and spoke to someone TWICE. They assured it would be rectified. That NEVER happened...

Went as expected in and as announced day of sale had a little trouble with sound coming and going
Thanks for the feedback, Wes!
I went pretty good. A text notification about being 10 lots away would work better than the email. Most people have text notifications on their phone, not email.

Easy to use, friendly people to work with and replies to questions quickly.
We appreciate the feedback!
Prebid days in advance, 2 items sold for $75 each. Prebid at $100 & $125 lost items/not happy with current system.
Thanks for the feedback. We'll let the seller know.
It went well. I was pleasantly surprised once I understood the forum. I was able to pre-bid on items once I signed up and even was the winner of a few during the live auction. Thank you, I look forward to more auctions.
We appreciate the feedback!
I didn't realize there was a buyer's premium added to the bid I placed. This made the item cost more than the going price for it. I feel that if the seller is already paying a commission the buyer shouldn't be paying also. All though the bidding process was easy to follow through.
We appreciate the feedback! Unfortunately, buyer premiums are very common and are levied by the seller not EF but still vary from sale to sale.
I'd asked a question on the chat box and never got a response days prior to the auction. I asked again and still no response. I got a call telling me I was registered the day before, barely missed it and when I called the number in the voicemail I got someone who didn't know what was going on from Truckpaper. When I logged in to bid the bidding seemed like it moved so fast if you didn't pre bid there wasn't a chance of getting it. Naturally it stopped right at my pre bid which made me wonder if the auctioneer knew my max bid and just bumped it to it. The pictures and descriptions were less than desirable. I don't feel like if there was a true issue it would be handled by equipment facts.
Good no issues. The only issue I had is there was no information about the pickup I went there on Sunday after the auction and traveled 45 minutes and there was nobody there
I would always confirm you're coming to pick-up the item prior to showing-up.
Very impressed with the accuracy and speed of transaction. Amazing how quick "realtime" bidding acts
Thank you for the feedback!
Tried bidding on several items which I was never put in. Said I won an item then was called by the auction company to find out equipment facts said I won and I in fact hadn't. Audio never did work during the whole sale. Poor experience.
Thanks for the feedback, Logan!
I was pleased with my experience. I had no issues with the website or bidding.
Great to hear!
It was easy to follow. And was a great experience. I liked seeing the bids as they were coming in
Fantastic!
You $#*!s shut me down in the middle of bidding on the one thing I wanted in this sale, causing me to miss it. WTF!
There was only one thing I wanted in this sale. I made sure I was signed up signed in registered, I even used the test your bid lot to make sure everything was working. And it worked fine. Then the item I waited all day for came up. I placed 2 or 3 bids with no problem then a message popped up saying bidding disabled. Ind I was unable to bid anymore. As this was happening I received a call from a out of town # that came up on my phone as scam likely. I was scrambling to figure out why my bidding was disabled so I didn't answer it. And moments later the item I wanted was sold. VERY DISAPOINTING!
When I called the number that tried calling me It turned out to be a rep from Equipment facts trying to verify my number after the sale was almost over, and the 1 item I wanted had sold. WTF! You should do all of your verification before you approve people to bid and before the sale. NOT AFTER THE SALE STARTS AND BUYERS ARE ACTIVELY BIDDING. I'm still pissed off that you cost me the one item I wanted. And you cost your consigner money too as I would have bid higher than what the item sold for
YOU NEED TO DO BETTER!
We appreciate the feedback! We do have a reverification process in place because we accept automated registrations which sometimes lead to fake accounts. We are working on solutions to prevent the potential interruption of the bidding process. We appreciate your understanding until the process is updated.

Thank you, Michael!
